I do think they could have handled Keyleth's departure a little better by 3 alternate scenarios: 1. Have her stick to her guns to the bitter end about not trusting Raishan so she'd feel more justified in her anger towards VM. 2. Have her BEGRUNDGINGLY make peace with Raisha, showing she's still not okay with it but mainly doing it to appease the team. 3. Have it play out like it did but also show her resenting herself for doubting her judgment in the last minute because she thought she was wrong "as usual".

Elijah I wouldn't be surprised if you noticed or didn't notice cause her Mom's only scene i remember is in S2 it's like 2 to 3 mins long.

I wonder what Allura and Dr Dranzel chatted about while waiting for Pike and Kaylie to finish their conversation? My personal headcanon is they discussed Dranzel's set list - which quickly spiralled into gushing about the enigmatic figure known as the Ruby of the Sea As for Janet Varney voicing Keyleth's mother? Yes. Yes it was 100% intentional and the team were icons for making it happen

8:24 - One of Ashley's key mannerisms in Critical Role is fumbling her own words into an incoherent mess on occasion. XD 9:25 - Every time I see Keyleth's dad I think he's part of the White Lotus from Avatar. XD The Air Ashari's primary colors are blue and white, however Keyleth (and later Liam O'Brian's Air Ashari character Orym from Campaign 3) chooses to wear earth tone colors like green, orange or red. 10:30 - Stilben is actually where most of Vox Machina met each other, with the exception of Percy who joined the group later on. 12:05 - The Ashari being responsible for Raishan's disease new to this show to give her a deeper connection with Keyleth. In the campaign Raishan was cursed by the dying breath of a druid follower of one of the Prime Deities, The Wildmother, after Raishan decimated their temple and killed everyone else there. 13:35 - HI MATT MERCER! 14:29 - Vax and the Tabaxi are actually speaking in code during this scene, which is why what they're saying sounds weird. If you have subtitles on it shows you what they're actually saying: Vax - "Don't be trimming another who keeps the cloak" = You wouldn't harm a fellow member of the Clasp. Tabaxi - "No beads on your scar. Suppose we be doves, then." = Didn't see your mark. Guess that makes us friends. 16:00 - You're absolutely correct! That is Jenna Varney and it DEFINITELY was intentional. That flashback was shown in the beginning of the episode "Pass Through Fire" in season 2. 23:13 - The board game they're playing is based on an actual board game you can buy that Critical Role created called Uk'otoa, which is based on a leviathan demi-god created by the Betrayer God Zehir, The Cloaked Serpent. We'll most likely see a lot of Uk'otoa in the Mighty Nein animated series! 23:50 - This is basically Keyleth's version of a scrying spell.

I watched with subtitles (not to accidentally miss stuff) and was really through off by the double sub during that whole convo between Vax and the Tabaxi until (like a fewseconds later when) I realized that they are speaking code.

Also personal head-canon (it is very likely not true), I just ran throught the approximate timeline in my head for C1 and C2 (I am at E59 of C2 and had not watched C1 so no spoilers) and I like to think that there is a girl/ young woman in Ripley's misfit pirate crew called Avantika... ... For no reason in particular.

Vax's little squeal was hilarious xD Also, about Keyleth... I'm a bit torn. Cuz on one hand, I like that she's a bit angry and shows some different aspects of her character but then on the other hand, it's just more conflict between her and Vax and it's starting to drag. There's only so much drama I can take before I get tired of it and their constant on and off is just a big 'UGH'.

I am so glad I don't have allergies. Although I do have other auto-immune disorders and literal scars on my internal organs from them. But at least I don't get annihilated by some fucking pollen. Oh, honey, it's cliffhangers all the way down.

Matt Mercer's speciality: leaveing us AND the cast on a cliffhanger for a week (or Liam doing something crazy unixpected before a 2 week break)... Not THAT big of an issue when I am 6 years behind, but still, point stands.

Sorry to hijack a bit, but I am very excited! RWBY vol. 10 has been CONFIRMED in pre-production, so there is light coming up from the horizon!. So take your time with this Elijah... between RWBY, RWBY Chibi, and RWBY Ice Queendom, there is plenty to react to still in the RWBY-verse. Maybe we can finally convince you to watch the World of Remnant shorts at some point lol..

(Just not the Youtube version - for some baffeling reason they changed some thumbnails to include massive spoilers --> the videos are okay, it just thethumbnails)

On the note of the Keyleth=Avatar comment... From what I heard it was that Marisha really wanted to play as an Avatar-esq character (controlling elements ect.) and she is a big ATLA fan herself so Matt came up with the Ashari race (with Marisha), so it is a basically a Matt Mercer creation.
