There is no supplementary material between Volumes 6 and 7 so you can jump right in. Also, Chapter 13 was the last Episode with Qrow's former voice actor who shall not be named (Fuck him) and starting with Volume 7 Chapter 1 he is played by Jason Liebrecht.

Ep 12: You know you're crazy when Nora calls you nuts. lol So a person's aura is an extension of someone's soul. Eyes are the window to the soul. The fact that Blake's aura matches Yang's eyes and and Yang's matches Blakes. .....We talking literal soulmates here? Hehehe. The first time Yang has used her semblance since V3 let's freakin go!!! I like that they showed that even though Adam was a piece of shit, even though he caused Blake (and Yang) so much grief and pain, she didn't want to kill him. At one point in time she loved him, he was important to her, and now she's feeling all these overwhelming emotions. We as the audience of course can cheer and party about this dude being gone but I appreciate how they handled Blake here. Ep 13: I will never not get emotional when Ruby starts going through all her memories and we get to see not only shots from the first few volumes but also tiny baby Yang and Summer with an actual model. It’s obviously just a retooled Ruby model but it gets the job done. I mean, Raven’s model started out as just a palette swap of Yang’s so… Consistency. And that’s before we mention Indomitable playing when she finally uses her Silver Eyes. I cry, man. Every time. Without fail. That song is my freakin kryptonite. Ah yes, Knowledge is what you seek, Elijah. Truly. And with that another volume down. So ready for V7 man! These last three volumes are gonna be a ride man.

From here on out there is no extra material to watch until after Volume 9. After Volume 9 there are two pieces of content directly connected to the main RWBY show. One of those is a rough episode outline from stuff that will likely be adapted to Volume 10 so you probably don't have to watch that. The other is a mini series consisting 4 episodes about side stories happening AFTER Volume 9. On top of that there is another mini series about in universe Fairy Tales which you could watch whenever you like but I would say wait watching it after you finish the main show. The next three Volumes are really good so I personally would want you to be able to watch them back to back.

I totally thought Blake and Yang were going to kiss the first time I watched the episode too but I am happy they didn't. It is very clear that killing Adam was not something Blake wanted. She (and Yang) gave him multiple chances to just leave them alone. On top of that Blake still felt guilty for having left Yang and needed Yang to know she wouldn't do that again. This is not a moment for a kiss. The head touch is also much more intimate.

The Blake and Yang vs Adam fight is up there as one of my favourite animated fight scenes ever made, having been built up for so long and being such a satisfying ending to that arc. Oh, and fun fact: the creators admitted that they specifically had Adam hit the rock on the way down to make it clear that he died for good. He wasn't going to get any Cinder levels of plot armour or Salem's immortality. Also, don't diss Neo wearing Roman's hat. That is actually quite important to her character. Plus, she's rocking it.

I considered that CRWBY's way of making sure we weren't expecting Adam to make a comeback. Kinda hard to come back as a quadriplegic on top of mortal stab wounds.

Not many will remember this little nugget but just like any other character you play the game with to see their inspiration, just so happens to be with pairings as well (kinda like how ozpin and glynda are conected by the same inspiration along with 3 others which one of them youve already guessed, that being the cowardly lion) Blake and yang also share one with adam. Their trailers described the colors black as beast and yellow as beauty which gives off pieces to beauty and the beast and adams symbol is a rose. Blake and yang play the roles of the beauty and the beast while adam played the role of the rose also known as the curse and together they finally got rid of said "curse" by getting rid of, well, him XD And no youre not alone everyone took the finaly of v6 as them being canon (besides whiny delusional people) there just wasnt any grand gesture that were used to seeing for straight couples which is fine because each pair has their own little move that shows affection Just like nora and ren have the nose boop to show love, blake and yang have forehead touches

First we have the art and now we have the Knowledge, what will come next. You won't have any more shorts or anything to react to before a new volume here on out, but after volume 9 funny enough you will, though I do recommend playing a game of refresher with Volume 3 and all of Weiss scenes in Volume 4 to prepare for what is going to come next because it's going to get gooood. You are also correct Aura = the outer soul that protects them pretty much which shields them from injury and has the ability to help heal them as well and when it runs out and poofs then they can't use their semblance for a certain duration of time and are left vulnerable. Their Semblance is their Quick/Superpower officially. Stuff like Qrow and Raven's bird power and Ruby's Silver eyes along with Faunus attributes are bonus along with them. I was grinning for a while whenever you contemplated who would be the one to take down Adam when the answer was both of them a satisfying way. Also the creators have confirm unlike Cinder, Adam is DONE DONE DONE, so the only way we'd seem him again would be flashbacks more than anything and it makes sense Blake's reaction from it all as he was a jerk face, they were someone Blake looked up to and having to actually kill someone let alone someone you use to know will leave a mark. I have no idea what is going on with the adventures with Blang and Yake though, it's probably nothing......... Happy to see your reaction to the official look for Summer Rose, Adams downfall, along with the other action along with these episodes. Welcome to Atlas and the 3rd Arc and Volume 7 of RWBY, get ready for a fun and wild ride ahead, we are happy to have you.

Volume 6 just sticks every landing IMO. From Ruby coming into her own as a huntress, to Yang learning to fight smarter, Blake standing her ground, Blake/Yang’s everything, Qrow putting down the bottle, the season’s triumphant moment ending with “Indomitable” as an ode to Monty, etc. The memory montage leading into a Summer reveal and Ruby using her eyes while the music swells? Just *chefs kiss*. Your reaction to Blake/Yang vs Adam did not disappoint. One point missed- that fight also confirmed Blake and Yang’s auras (souls) are the color of each other’s eyes. So goddamn indulgent and I am HERE for it. And yes, I always took Adam saying “what does she even see in you?!” as the show removing plausible deniability. Cheers to V7 (my second fav after V6)!

1. When I first watched Vol 7 I did not like it (for whatever reasons), it is especially wierd since now I LOVE it. - It might have been the „political stuff" that did not really click with me... In the sense that I could not follow. (I was like 14 then) 2. „Full speed ahead!" - I see what you did there (and I „hate" it)... Its like one of the only happy songs in ALL THE SAGAS... One of the other one's being „Open Arms"... But come on, it gets to rip our hearts out over and over after the Cyclops Saga.

While a kiss would of been nice I think Blake was in a very Vulnerable place and Yang gave just the right amount of comfort to Blake and also didn’t take advantage of Blake in the situation. Even if the two have clear feelings for each other I don’t think following the killing of an Ex (abusive of not) has got to be traumatic.

I was the opposite when I was young, a people pleasure, and still am to an extent, but I am working on that. Being nice to everyone is great but when you get blindly taken advantage of over and over again it can really take a toll on your mental health. From people who I thought were friends to Family all used me and if I wasn’t perfect they were quick to call out my mistakes and villainize me, all while never pointing out the good I did. It got to the point where at nineteen I had to have surgery to remove ulcers in my stomach from the stress. That’s Also why I picked up on Adam’s gaslighting and manipulation when the show first came out. Meanwhile all the Toxic fans were like “Why are they butchering Adam’s character” or “Adam deserves a redemption arc.” I was so happy when Blake and Yang finally got to put an end to the abuser. I love how this season the two main antagonist are people who don’t want to take accountability for their actions. Such good writing and honestly probably the strongest Volume over all.

I think I lot of folks felt that way when the volume was airing because... (minor spoiler but something that we were told by CRWBY going into V7 so it was meant to be known going into it) V7 and V8 are parts one and two of a longer volume, so it didn't feel like a "completed" volume of RWBY until you could watch V8 afterwards.

Lmao I knew months ago that as soon as you got to the Adam death scene you'd make it the thumbnail. I can already envision the thumbnail for at least one other episode in the future, but we'll get there when we get there. In the meantime, my weekly yowling: - The title for episode 12 reminds me of a realization I had earlier this week: Ruby (and subsequently Team RWBY) completely re-contextualize the color red for the series. Red, in general, and in the show usually codes something as a threat. We see it with the Grimm, with Salem, with Adam, with Cinder, with Raven, with Yang's eyes, and of course with blood, but with Ruby it takes on a whole new meaning. It's no longer a threat, no longer a sign of violence, it's a sign of hope. And by Team RWBY sharing her name pronunciation and in turn her color, they carry that new meaning too. It's such a gorgeous touch for a show that puts a ton of importance on color. - Lmao yeah Mosco is right. Never thought about it that way. Probably because I'm used to comedic sequences where they explain the plan like a heist. - If you think Ruby dresses like Qrow, wait until you see Summer Rose proper. She's unfortunately very good at dressing like the people she idolizes, though I'd say she's starting to find her own style and identity, but that's commentary for later in the series. - God, that confrontation with Cordovin still gives me chills. Ruby's speech, the close up shots of all their reactions, the flourish of the music, Jaune's observation- all of it goes so fucking hard. - They go so hard on every angle of the Adam fight. That framing in particular goes pretty well with what Blake said earlier in the volume- Adam would try to get in her head, make her feel small, but in reality he just wanted to bring her down to his size. - "Just fall, fall over that edge by the waterfall please!" - If I remember correctly, Adam's VA said he hated delivering these sorts of lines. I know I would feel so sick saying those words even if I knew I was just acting as a character. There's so much venom and manipulation straight out of the stereotypical abuser's playbook. - Reverse Bumbleby move!!! What incredible fucking emphasis on their relationship and also their raw synergy. - To your credit, people generally can't use their semblance when their aura is broken. Since they're tied. - I mean, she is a cat. Cats are great at climbing. - "WHAT DOES SHE EVEN SEE IN YOU?" - "How strong is she?" Incredibly, because oh my god she carries so many people in this show just completely effortlessly. - The leitmotif of Nevermore before we even hear the song. Drives me fucking WILD. - I'm pretty sure just about everyone here was waiting for you to get to this scene the moment you showed contempt for Adam. I know I was. - Also another fine example of how RWBY's restraint from using blood/gore makes their few inclusions so much more impactful. If they'd been slicing people open the entire show, Blake and Yang impaling Adam wouldn't feel the same. - I'm forever so so happy that you give the RWBY writers the credits they absolutely fucking deserve. The hatedom around this show is ridiculous and no matter how well-executed something is, they will refuse to concede to it, because god forbid the "cringe" anime webshow do something right. - I wince every time I hear his bones break on the rock. - Lmao yeah it does almost look like the lead up to a kiss. It's cute that they do the little forehead touch thing though, very cat-like for our dear cat girl. - Cordovin's actions speak a lot to her own shortcomings, but honestly also a lot to Atlas' ethos in general. You see glimpses of that back in V4 when Weiss was stuck at home. - The first time I saw this episode I wanted to scream when I saw Cinder walk in with that cunty outfit. She's such a horrible person but she's so hot. - I really love that they redrew all these old scenes because they did it in the style of the "New Friends!" photo (I assume the same artist did it?). It gives them a really Kodak moment kind of quality, even when tragic. - Elijah forever being tormented by the many attractive women throughout this series. - They cut some corners and dressed Summer up in Ruby's old outfit (just with Summer's white-and-red cloak), but it's still such a beautiful moment that I have no complaints tbh. - The song playing here is called "Indomitable" and is dedicated to Monty, with the lyrics making reference to his work creating the show and two quotes of his. - Something deeply comical about the leitmotif of Big Metal Shoe, a song about taunting Cordovin, playing as she shows her turn of heart. - Atlas (and Mantle) are fucking gorgeous. I cannot wait for you to see it up close because we see it at the same time the budget majorly increases. - I know you plan to review the music later, but I do still suggest you listen to the credits song for this volume. It's called "Nevermore" and is the theme for the Blake and Yang vs. Adam fight. - Gotta love Salem experimenting with Grimm. Completely normal behavior and not deranged at all. - Nothing you have to watch before V7, but I'm going to be fucking VIBRATING as I wait for you to get to a very specific scene early on in the volume. You'll know when you get there.

Don't you worry, Adam was confirmed dead later by the writers. Not that there's a coming back from getting stabbed twice with four exit wounds over the lungs, falling and hitting the spine/back of head against sheer rocks, and falling into deep water. He was dead before the splash, rest assured. Even if he had had any Aura left it wouldn't have saved him. I'm so here for your Bee shipping, but you can't ask us to confirm or deny anything lol Whatever happens or doesn't for the rest of the journey is up to you to experience. Friendly reminder again that Adam's brand says "SDC" - Schnee Dust Company. I know you don't care lol but that should tell you everything you need to know about why is is literally Spite. Another friendly reminder that at this point you can watch ALL of the World of Remnants shorts in one go. They're informative and the two longest ones are only about 7 min each. ^^ I'm only bringing this up because there's no point in watching them AFTER you're done with the series since they're meant to help give context and do its worldbuilding as you go. :) Now, MODS. please let me know if this part is something I shouldn't mention just in case, BUT Qrow will have a new VA going forward. “Our eyes are the color of each other’s souls” sounds like something you’d read in a fanfic but that’s the source material babyyyyy!!!! V3 established how important eye contact is for Blake “I want you to look me in the eyes and tell me he attacked you. I want you to promise that you regret having to do what you did” (and gee it’s no wonder she feels that way. Adam had his eyes covered by a mask most of the time) so the fact that Yang pulls Blake back out of the hug here to look her in the eyes when she tells her that she believes her and she knows Blake won’t break her promise is such a nice animation choice I love that they included that 🤌🤌🤌 And the forehead bump too of course I’m glad Elijah saw Cordo’s turnaround for what it is. She’s kinda played as this goofy antagonist but I really think this whole mini arc with her is so important in how it represents what rwby is about. In the very first episode we’re told “there’s no victory in strength” and that victory will come from a “smaller simpler soul” and Oz later in v5 tells Oscar that Ruby possesses something “unquantifiable, a spark that can inspire others.” We see Cordo have the realization that she was the one who fucked up and we see how she reacts to Ruby’s words when she says they’ll take on the leviathan without help. It’s only after that, that Cordo makes her triumphant comeback “after all I was sworn to protect the people!!!” She got that from Ruby!! It’s a direct example of how Ruby inspiring one person to make the right choice and change even after they did objectively terrible things and how that can have a larger effect on more than just that one person. A single choice to do the right thing doesn’t mean the show is trying to redeem them of all the bad they’ve done but it’s still important that they made the choice to do the right thing in that moment. And the flip side is true as well. A choice to do the wrong thing doesn’t automatically negate all the good they’ve done (looking at you Leonardo Lionheart) Everyone has some dark and some light in them but it’s the ability to choose that matters.

Yeah don't worry, Adam's DEAD-dead lol. The crew confirmed it and you can even see the light leave his eyes and him go limp right before falls. I will say, to temper some expectations with Bumbleby, yeah this volume is basically the confirmation for us that there's definitely feelings of something more between Blake and Yang (The "What does she even see in you?!" and the forehead touch were especially on the nose and unsubtle lol) BUT much like Ren and Nora (whom they definitely share lots of parallels with), it's not a canon together-together situation. Gosh I loved this reaction lol. A couple of things: Yes, Adam is confirmed dead! And to play along with the Beauty and the Beast theme, he falls like Gaston down the cliff and dies. Also, yang's arm has the scratches like Beast gets in the wolf scene on his arm (same arm, too). Just subtle nods that I adore. The moment between Blake and Yang is a beautiful moment, especially this being the first time they've taken a life (it had to be done). If you go back through the season, any time you see Adam, if he's wearing the black outfit, he's actually there. Subtle hints that he's been following them. If he's still wearing the mask, it's Yang's PTSD. Next thing, just a little heads up, I'd say don't watch the 7 intro because there are a few spoilers in it (I can't remember if it plays in the beginning or not so just in case). Also, the voice actor for Qrow is different so if you hear it, that's why. I've been waiting for these episodes and the next volumes to come and can't wait for you to get to so many different parts!

There is technically a book that comes after V6, but otherwise just go right ahead and jump into V7! I don't know how you're planning to break up the episodes, but if you keep them in pairs and V7 has an odd number one episode would need to be standalone, so I would suggest making Chapter 11 solo since it's the actual longest one in V7

I recommend going right into the episodes and skipping the intro until after the first three. It has spoilers! This is where I joined the RWBY fandom and fully caught up with the show, end of Vol 6, which I watched in mid 2019. Once I had caught up I immediately searched when Vol 7 was airing, which a few days beforehand had been a convention where they announced it. I was watching weekly after that! I love RWBY so much even after 6 years of being in the fandom! I have loved watching the characters grow and change with the volumes. I can't wait for NSAF to get into Vol 7, 8 and 9 because these are some of my favourite volumes and scenes in the show coming up

To be fair, it's referring to her lesson with her dad. That, much like Raven, they thought that "the easiest way to tackle an obstacle is through it" but if she pause and think for a moment, Yang can see that there is a way around it instead. Basically telling her to not rely on bruteforcing, but think smarter, which Yang also displayed in the fight. Using more kicks instead of punches to throw Adam off, not rely on her Semblance until the timing was right, and not attack him head on to feed his own Semblance. So the "I'm smarter" line makes a lot more sense than simply "heh I'm totally stronger" when that's not all to it.

The Blake and Yang Vs. Adam fight is easily my most favorite fight of the whole series! It was definitely satisfying to see them both stab him and finally slay their literal and metaphorical demons! They have both healed from their PTSD and are now able to move forward. When Adam said to Yang that Blake once made a promise to him that she would always be at his side. Blake got scared that Yang was going to think that Blake would abandon her again. Blake saying "I'm not gonna break my promise, I swear!" It proves that she really is ride or die for Yang, and when Yang says "I know you won't". Yang believes her and trusts her completely now. Also, don't worry, there are many MANY of us that also wanted Blake and Yang to kiss after. But it honestly wouldn't be the right time. Yang could see that Blake was clearly traumatized by having to kill Adam. So she did her best to comfort Blake as her best friend. Lastly, the look that Ruby gives to Yang at the end. My interpretation is that Ruby is basically asking Yang if she and Blake got all their issues worked out, and Yang is saying that she and Blake are all good now and that their friendship has been restored. When Yang takes Blake's hand and says "We were there for each other." Yang definitely wanted a romantic relationship with Blake, but she knew Blake would need more time before she's ready for that. Can't wait for you to start volume 7, it's one of my favorite volumes! ❤️🤍🖤💛

And I don't know what the consensus on spinoffs was, but I feel like many of us were of the opinion that RWBY x JL and RWBY Chibi (at least a little taste) were only ones worth digging into after you've finished with Vol. 9. But buckle up, cause the next 3 volumes are HEAVY! All heartwrenching in VERY different ways. You thought S3 was rough? It definitely was, that ain't changing, but there's stuff in the next few volumes that challenge it.

Honestly I’m willing to bet that the Grimm only attacked in the first place because Cordovin incited panic when she brought out the giant mech and boasted about ‘reminding’ everyone of Atlas’ might. The citizens had no idea about RWBY and Co.’s plan so they had no idea what she was talking about or what the mech would be used for—that’s terrifying, especially considering people saw Atlas robots attacking people during the Fall of Beacon. Of course that would attract Grimm! Also idk if I’m in the minority here but I always hated Neo’s new look. I just don’t vibe with it at all. Anyways uh yeah BLAKE AND YANG I LOVE THEM SL MUCH. One thing I love about rewatching this show is hearing all the song leitmotifs- like when Yang and Blake kill Adam the lyrics are "Will I be afraid. Nor will I run away. It's behind me. .Freedom is finally here. You may have taken the lead but I'll even the score. You won the battle you won't win the war- Not now and Nevermore" and it's just *beautiful*. The last few episodes contain SO much, and given that it is a milestone of Blake and Yang’s arc, it’s a good time to dive into it a bit. We’re initially presented with Blake being inspired by Belle and Yang by Goldilocks, but while Blake’s parallels to her source deepen over the show as she’s revealed to be the Beast in addition, Yang’s never really do. And there’s a reason for that. There’s a blink and you’ll miss it hint way back in the Red Trailer: “Black the beast descends from shadows Yellow beauty burns gold” And more obvious ones in the last couple of episodes, Yang riding to Blake’s rescue like Belle. The gouges in Yang’s arm like those the Beast receives from the wolves. Just as Blake is both Beauty and Beast so too is Yang. Blake loves to read, Yang longs to be free and see the world. Blake fears her true nature is monstrous, Yang fears that she’ll be left alone. Adam too represents multiple elements, he’s the cruel prince who never grew up in his entitlement, he’s Gaston in his stalking of Blake and his violence towards Yang, and he’s the cursed rose that haunts them both through abuse and trauma. Ultimately, they need each other to defeat him. But more than that their greatest victory over him is their bond with each other. Adam spent years isolating Blake and trying to convince her that not only would humans never see her as an equal, but that she didn’t deserve to be treated equally anyway. But Yang doesn’t want Blake to be alone, and wants nothing more than for Blake to see them as equals, to be partners. Adam tries to convince Yang that Blake will abandon her but Blake has overcome her fear, and Yang believes in her sincerity. Blake’s belief that she can have Yang in her life, and that she could deserve her, breaks the “curse” of his abuse. Yang standing by her side is the proof that she is free of him, Blake standing by Yang’s is proof he failed. They save each other. Goodbye Adam, I’m glad CRWBY took the time to model a whole separate stone arch simply so you could hit your head on the way down.

I was so excited to see Elijah's response to the Adam fight, and it sure did not disappoint. ngl there were moments when I was like "I know you hate him and you want him to stfu but please try not to talk over the dialogue bits" lmao. nothing too serious, she's valid for what she said. just a bit of friendly advice to make sure not to miss any potentially crucial or even intriguing dialogue. anyway, so so satisfying seeing them take down Adam together like that. Blake and Yang truly do fight so well together, and I just... yes, it's good to freak out like that. also was looking forward to her reaction to the Summer Rose reveal! the first time we get a glimpse of what Ruby's mom looks like. and yes, the song Indomitable that plays during that scene is so SO GOOD, one that will stir the emotions. not really a spoiler but the song is literally an ode to Monty Oum, referencing his most famous quote that became a guiding maxim for RWBY, but also outlining his influence and legacy even after his unfortunate passing. you can tell there was so much heart put into that song, so it's all the more fitting that it plays when Ruby has this moment where she has to not only play hero but remember what she is fighting for. on to Atlas! I do hope Elijah continues to be blown away with how the Kingdom of Atlas looks when she starts volume 7 - not just the city in the clouds, but the sheer detail. these next three volumes are going to be so good and she's right to be hyped for it. lots of intense emotions to come!

For the Adam vs Bmbblbe fight, one this to look into later on the OST, Adam's trailer had 'his' song 'Lionize', while the Blake/Yang song 'Nevermore' is a direct answer to that song. On it's own, Nevermore is good, but paired to that, Indomitable is the only song higher on the OST for the volume for me. Blakes name translates to 'black beautiful woman' and yangs name translates to 'sunny little dragon' a mythological beast their names are literally beauty and the beast, in one of yang's volume 5 songs she calls herself a beast, in a rwby volume 6 retrospective both yang's va and one of the writers bring up how interesting it is that in the fight against adam yangs prosthetic has scratch marks similar to one's the beast has on his right arm

If Adam hadn't cut off Yang's arm, then she'd have no metal prosthetic to catch his sword (and stab him with a severed sword end); beautiful irony, or poetic justice? I remember when this first came out, there were a bunch of Adam fans insisting that 1) he was coming back because the freezing water would stop the bleeding 2) the fight was just gay fanservice, because they nerfed Adam. There was no way Yang and Blake could take Adam down because he was the strongest character we'd met other than Oz and the maidens. Arguing with those people would have been a waste of my time but... 1) Adam was dead before he hit the water, 2 a) they've made it very clear that Adam's mental stability has gone steadily downhill while Yang and Blake have been improving on their faults and working through their fears. And even then, it still took the both of him. they did not nerf Adam. 2 b) Adam was skilled and powerful, but not the most skilled or powerful. A few characters who could beat Adam into the dust. Crow, Tyrian, Ironwood, Neo, Pyrrha Then there's the characters who are at the very least on the same level as Adam and have a good chance at winning Hazel, Winter Schnee, Mercury, Emerald, Penny, Oobleck. Honorable mentions for Raven (who I'm sure could kick Adam's ass without her maiden powers), Port (who clearly has skill given what he survived but we never got to see it) and Taiyang (who is presumably on the same level as Crow/no-maiden-powers Raven) And there's a few character who on that list who I'm probably giving Adam too much credit with.

It is a fight to this day among fndm if Blake and Yang were gonna kiss/should’ve kissed after killing Adam, even as a bmblb shipper I was so glad they didn’t because they *needed* the intimacy of the moment without dealing with the messy romantic side of stuff *immediately after Blake killed her abusive former romantic partner*. She needed Yang in that moment but not like that. And Yang wasn’t much better. I love so much that they did the forehead nuzzle, it was so perfect.

I will (once again) recommend the soundtracks at some point. The motifs that play during the Adam fight make me tear up no matter how many times I've seen it...Armed and Ready, Nevermore, and then later having Indomitable in the finale...the v6 soundtracks is one of my favorites. Want to point out Aura is "the manifestation of the soul" and that eyes are called the "window to the soul". With both of these in mind that Blake's Aura is the same color as Yang's eyes, and Yang's Aura is the same color as Blake's eyes. Just saying this for no particular reason ^_^

Yeah I'm glad they didn't too. They literally just killed someone, a literal living person. Something hunters and huntresses don't typically do but they were forced to because Adam wouldn't let up. Still, doing that takes a toll on the mind regardless of intent or necessity. Shameless ask, but it would be really cool if you posted on your YouTube or Twitter how much youre enjoying this show and that it’s worth a try (particularly to your Owl House, SheRa and Arcane viewers who may be on the fence). There is a barrier to entry with this show (the early animation, not to mention the weird (undeserved) internet negativity around this show), but I always tell new viewers they just need to power through, and you’ve got a bigger megaphone. Just a thought! RWBY deserves its redemption.

Generally the soundtrack is pretty spoiler-free as long as you're not listening ahead to volumes you haven't finished yet (ie. Listening to v9's ost while still watching v7, or listening to the v7 ost before finishing v7). Casey herself has gone on record stating that they are told enough about the characters and story to make appropriate themes and songs and include some foreshadowing, but not enough to explicitly spoil anything that has yet to pass at that point in the story. They also don't record songs ahead of time and that's why it typically takes 4-6 months after the volume finale airs for the full songs to come out.

For sure! I always recommend the soundtracks because they add so much emotional context when the leitmotifs play later in the series. Maybe it's just the composition major in me? Idk, the songs are all so good and then the layers of emotion they add to existing scenes...ugh, I could write a whole dissertation. It's beautiful and I think she would love the soundtrack in general as well, regardless of when she listens to it, I'll be there to enjoy her reactions!

The person above you (Kyle) is simply stating that Elijah is celebrating the death of a person while ignoring what that could mean for Blake and Yang. 2 heroines killing for the first time is a traumatic thing on them. Yes Adam didn't give them much of a choice and yes he wasn't a good person but if you go back to volume 1 to what Blake said to Weiss, "There is no such thing as pure evil". Nobody is born evil, and if you go back to listen to "Nevermore" and go back to the whole Adam character and his story you would understand that his story is tragic, i'm not excusing his behavior and what he's done in the past but if you would stop for a minute and try to comprehend a character and his/her story then you wouldn't say that the person's comment is weird (talking about the second comment on this thread). "Weird" is a word used lighly nowadays. Sometimes is hard to understand a story. Adam and Raven are very complicated characters and it's very hard to comprehend a story simply because you dislike a character.
