MERRY CHRISTMAS! 10:10 - Sure, they're best friends. Some might even say they were roommates! <.< 13:35 - Tusk Love was briefly shown in S1E2 of LoVM in Gilmore's Glorious Goods as an easter egg! Jester and Fjord were featured on the cover including a unicorn! ALSO Tusk Love is an ACTUAL book you can buy now! I thought it was going to be an over the top, corny parody of romance novels but it's actually REALLY well written (and VERY smutty at times. 👀💦💦💦) 23:48 - A running gag in the campaign is Nott and Jester teaming up to solve mysteries and find "suspects", forming their own little detective agency. 26:45 - The Gentleman is a Water Genasi...which is why he is moist all the time. lol 28:00 - Nydas Okiro, much like the devil Zerxus Illerez in season 3 of LoVM, was a PC in the miniseries "Exandria Unlimited - Calamity" (played by Lou Wilson who also voices him in this episode). And much like Zerxus with the Vox Machina campaign, Nydas originally wasn't part of the Mighty Nein campaign because he didn't exist as a character yet. They added him into the story as a special nod to that very popular miniseries, which A LOT of people are hoping will be adapted into either its own animated miniseries or movie!

Never thought I'd see the day where Elijah looks for a *straight* answer as to why two characters are interacting a certain way. 😂 Valid though. Yasha thirst might break your brain if you think she's sapphic. I love hearing Zehra Fazal pop up in shows. Here, she is Curator Tasha. You of course know her better as Mara in She-Ra.

Ashley Johnson was very busy during the campaign so they frequently had to work around Yasha's absence. Though oddly, the same was true of Vox Machina but that didn't stop the show from finding new ways to keep Pike as a regular character.

True, but if I remember correctly, Ashley wasn't gone as much for Vox Machina as she was for The Mighty Nein, also I think someone better tell Elijah that if we see Yasha in season one, it will only be tiny little snippets maybe a few seconds to a minute or so, not until season 2 will she have more of a presence

Possibly because of the [REDACTED] arc involving Yasha, no be THAT out of the blue like in the Campaign (plus this kinda was an established event for Yasha for backstory)

I'm not gonna lie, I would love to see Elijah react to the Critical Role Narrative Telephone game they did for the first campaign of Vox Machina, I think she would enjoy them, those were freaking funny and awesome to watch.

It's Beau job to trust no one, Dairon told her that, her mentor btw, and she's actually trusting them a lot more than she should. They're all there to help Caleb, risking death, and Caleb has been ominous for a long time. We've seen her saving Caleb in episode 5 too. If you think about it, Caleb was the one not trusting her.

It's strange to me that a lot of people seem to get mad at Beau for not trusting Caleb (her job) but seem to be ok with Caleb almost killing Beau for not trusting her.

As much as I am saddened by the little amount of Yasha this season, for Elijah's sake this might be a good thing! :D That being said, she likely will be around a lot more in next season, so... looking forward to 1- those episodes and 2- those reactions! :p

If Beau did to Caleb what he did to her this episode, people would be losing their minds and calling her the worst things on the planet, but with Caleb they're just laughing and complimenting him on how clever he is for forcing her to either answer his questions or just die

Imagine if she didn't put her hand up. That's the difference. Beau may not trust him, but if the oportunity came, she would save his life. Caleb doesn't trust her, and he puts her in an almost death situation

A lot of this stems from the fact that people are WAY more critical of the women at the table and their characters than the men. Marisha got endless shit during campaign 1 for Keyleth

Yasha's iconic one-liners are gonna kill ME... And I know about them. Elijah does not even KNOW what kind of person Yasha is... S1 is the prime example of the phrase „and Yasha Yasha-ed".

Ikithon and Vess are both part of the Cerberus Assembly. If you remember in Vox Machina, the Cerberus Assembly were the wizards that attacked Anna Ripley's village in her back story and you can see a young Trent Ikithon in that scene.

So the fun things about the Nydas guy, he's actually part of the same group as the devil Zerxus from Vox Machina S3 - the one who said his friends doomed their civilization "with their curiosity & hubris". So you had no idea how spot-on you were when you said his inverted vault was just "a game to him". He's also voiced by Lou Wilson, a regular on the comedy streaming platform Dropout. I really hope they make a Calamity movie someday so you can see what fun ALL the characters are getting up to in that series. Yeah, now you've seen Caleb's backstory, now you know how good Trent Ikithon is at manipulation. He never quite lies, but it's always half-truths or omissions serving his own ends. It's how he got the Volstruckers under his thumb. It's how he pulls Essek into his orbit. And he doesn't care how broken he leaves them. He's a REALLY good villain, because he is just the absolute worst human being.

So a fun thing about Molly, that I don’t think is a spoiler; Taliesin wanted to play a character with amnesia, and to accomplish this gave Matt carte Blanche to create whatever history he wanted, so that it could be a surprise for EVERYONE, Taliesin, and by extension Molly, included.
