Am I the only one, or is there something wrong with the audio? It keeps hissing in the background. By the by, all that flirting between Kara and Jimmy feels sorely out of place, considering they're on a rescue mission. Maybe you can prioritize getting to Clark, skip the awkward flustering? It kinda slows down the momentum.

This had me questioning the order of the episodes for a solid minute until I checked lol. Thankfully ep 7 is more important for character reasons than plot reasons so watching it out of order is not going to affect your understanding too much. But it’s definitely going to be an interesting reaction 👀

"That's not what a True Kryptonian is!" - It kinda is, tho. Brainiac is the literal political & military system of Krypton. From a historical perspective, Kryptonians by all accounts were violent conquerors. Even Clark's father Jor-el admitted that. And from a practical perspective, Brainiac is Kara's father. He did raise her. He raised her VERY poorly, and is letting he preconceived notions poison his relationship with Kara, but... well, that certainly reminds me of my relationship with my pops, lol.

Hey Elijah, I hope you and Mosco had a great vacation! It's 2:52 in the afternoon while I'm watching this, but I would have been able to watch at 3 am if you uploaded it then lol I really like this version of Brainiac. He reminds me of Superman The Animated Series in that he was also Krypton's supercomputer, and was involved in a similar type of destruction. He's despicable, but that's why he's such a good villain. It's honestly funny how different Brainiac incarnations can be though, since he's sometimes just some alien that shrinks cities from various planets to collect them. I prefer supercomputer Brainiac, personally.

Since you asked, it's just after noon here in Portland, where me and thousands of other cyclists have returned home after the annual bridge pedal, where they shut down most of the bridges to car traffic (including two interstate highways) and let us cyclists ride in the car lanes across the bridges. "Now let's find your weakness; so I can kill you." it's refreshing how honest the villains always are. They never lie. Blushes mean crushes remains undefeated.

Haha. I once missed an episode when watching RWBY for the first time. It was the one where they encounter the Apathy in the underground passages. Made for a funny discovery when I rewatched the season later.

The thing is, Brainiac clearly did form some kind of bond with Kara, but he recognized it as a weakness and chose not to pursue it. It really goes to show what can happen when we put ambitions and profit and such over people, where we shatter genuine bonds even when they are true because we choose not to put faith in them.
