If they were closer in age I could probably ship them and find them REALLY cute, but the fact is that loona is 22 and octavia is only 17 which ruins the idea for me completely. Even with that fact aside, I REALLY hope it stays as a sister thing. I am always down for queen pairings but I think this show already has so much going on, especially with the current blitzo and Stolas scenario Great content as always!

Via is likely turning 18 in/during S3 and Loona is like 22, that’s not that big of an age gap at their respective ages and it’s not like anyone said they should start getting together in this short so I fail to see what that has to do with anything?

I think I’m fine either way presuming that enough time has passed that Octavia is at least 18 now. Can’t recall exactly how much time has passed in canon, but I think them being sisters makes more sense, just in that their dads are already a thing. But seeing them grow closer is definitely something I’m looking forward to in addition to more Loona lore/focus in Season 3

I love it and I’m with you regarding Via and Loona, I think either way could be cute and whatever the show does with it is fine with me because clearly they’re going to be some level of friendly and that’s all I really want in the first place. I have always seen them as sisters, mainly cause Octavia is 17 and Loona is 22, I know Octavia is meant to be turning 18 soon but to me that still doesn't sit right with me to make them have a romantic relationship, also right now Octavia needs a friend more than anything.

Hot take: The 'Loona and Octavia are sisters' bit is SUPER overrated at this point, Loona and Octavia deserve to have their OWN thing separate from their dads' bullshit and an actual romance between them would be super fucking interesting/cool/cute (they honestly make a FASCINATING foil/contrast to Stolitz) XD Also, while it hasn't been stated yet, Octavia STILL being 17 at this point would require the ENTIRE SERIES thus far to have taken place in LESS THAN A YEAR. So yeah, I seriously doubt she's still 17. (fun fact: going off of background details in a number of episodes, Octavia SHOULD be close to, if not already, 19 at this point) Also also, Octavia being asexual does NOT necessarily mean she is AROMANTIC, so a romance could still totally be on the table. So yeah, I totally ship them XD

Well, I hope none of y'all clutching your pearls, because "Octavia is 17, she's a MINOR!!!" are shipping Loona and Bee, then. Y'know, the Deadly Sin who should be at least 10,000 years old and signed Loona's adoption certificate when she was 17? Compared to that, the age difference between Loona and Via is absolutely negligible, and so is the difference in maturity as well, because Loona is often still behaving very much like a troubled teenager herself, which is why she relates to her. Not to mention that the only reason Octavia even is still 17 at this point is because the story somehow requires it, as they're probably building up to some Goetia shit around her 18th birthday. But since these are fictional, animated characters with arbitrary numbers attached to them, they could've just as well said that Via is 20 and somewhat developmentally stunted because of having no friends and her parents' bullshit, and have the age for "induction into the family" not be age of maturity but, like, 21. And don't even bother to pretend that most of you puritans wouldn't then be shipping the hell out of these two, without a single second thought!

I suspect that Loona's blush might come from the fact that no one has ever looked up to her before. Until fairly recently, she was as isolated and lonely as Octavia until she finally made friends, but no one has probably ever looked at her with admiration before. That might be enough to bring a blush to anyone's cheeks.

Andrelphous is only taking Stolas' place and powers until Via turns 18 and can inherit her father's duties. We'll have to wait and see what season 3 brings in terms of time passing, but given that the shorts are canon and Via is still sneaking out and Andrelphous is still living in her/Stolas' castle, I think it's safe to say that, at this point, she's not 18 yet. Via turning 18 and coming into power will probably be a big deal with a ceremony or gathering of some sort, and there's no way Stolas doesn't try to sneak in or be part of it, so I don't think they'll quietly age Via up without any fanfare.

I saw Loona's blush as more of ''this is out of character for me/I feel awkward " rather than anything romance-related. We know she's not the best at socialising and didn't have any friends until recently. She probably sees a bit of herself in Via because she's also awkward and friendless, so it makes sense.

Really loved seeing Loona and Via being cute with each other. 😊 As for their future relationship status: I feel it can develop either way. Most likely they'll end up forming a sisterly bond - it makes sense narratively - but I do get why some ship them. Just leaving this comment here, as I've seen a few people being confused over asexuality and aromanticism, due to Octavia being potentially asexual. One identity does not mean the other, and both aromantics and asexuals can absolutely be in a relationship, depending on specific situations and their experience of the identity. Asexuals are individuals who experience very little or no sexual attraction. Aromantics are individuals who experience very little or no romantic attraction. Both are separate identities within the LGBTQIA+ umbrella; however, some people can be both, which is termed as aroace. Either way, being asexual does not automatically cancel out romantic attraction; and the same visa versa with sexual attraction for aromanticism. Like most LGBTQIA+ identities, there is a spectrum of variation. You may have some individuals who are completely repelled or indifferent to sexual or romantic attraction. Or you may have some individuals who are open to sexual/romantic attraction within specific situations; therefore, you will see many other identities under both the asexual and aromantic umbrella. For example, someone may only feel sexual attraction when they feel a strong emotional bond with someone; this is termed as demisexual. There are many varying identities throughout the spectrum; therefore, every individual's experiences and feelings towards their identity will be different. I, for example, identify as aromantic; I find myself absolutely indifferent towards romantic relationships; however, I also consider myself open and can see myself in a romantic relationship, depending on the bond I make with a specific individual; and in turn, this does not mean I'm also asexual, as I very much still experience sexual attraction. Now I admittedly have only been out as aromantic for around two years now. So there is still a lot that I'm exploring, but as I've demonstrated here, there is many variations and situations where aromantic and asexual people can be in a sexual/romantic relationship or not at all. The important thing is not to assume one means the other and not to assume that the individual's identity means no romance or sexual relations whatsoever; and in turn, for those who do not experience or are repelled by those attractions completely, do not assume that they would be immediately be open to the idea of those relations. Unfortunately, there is a lot of stigma, stereotypes, assumptions and discrimination towards these identities; therefore, communication, education and listening to those with these identities is more important than ever. Hence why I have left this comment here, to help anyone who is genuinely unfamiliar or curious about these identities. For me the ship woth Loona depends on how the show goes. I can totally see a ship between octavia and loona working. 5 years isn't that big a difference. Not sure enough time has passed for Octavia to have aged up a year during the show but i can see her attending college or college type thing real soon . I am still thinking the show will go the Tex and B route for Loona love interest(s) but migjt just be me wanting more Queen B

It was said that her uncle is in charge of Stolas's estate and everything until Via "comes of age" in the 2nd to last episode. Assuming that is 18, she is still 17 as of the trial. So shes probably close to 18 but I don't think that'll happen off screen. A messy drama filled birthday episode is too perfect for the show

Since Octavia, first borrowed the grimoire to head to the living human world in order to see the meteor shower that her father promised to take her to see. Where Luna was tracking her every social media post. That when they finally met, they had a moment and Octavia, blushed at Luna, up till now. There dynamic in my opinion leans towards romance. I totally ship them Team Loovia all the way. But if Vivienne Medrano decides, it's more of a familial type love like that of step sisters. Then, it's a win-win in the end. Because they deserve to be in each other's lives. I want them to be girlfriends, but if in the end, if it's just stepsister vibes, that's cool too.

And before you say ace people can be in relationships too (I'm very aware of that), most people who aren't ace or know someone who is ace don't know that so I don't see them playing around with Via in that way to avoid making things "too complicated"
