Yep been waiting for this one. I got the box of tissues

Claudia Black, yo. Her performance in that last scene is stunning. I can still remember it as if I just saw it for the first time

It was definitely a gut punch and tragically satisfying at the same time. I remember watching this live in the summer of '01 a simpler more innocent time. It definitely opens a lot of doors for the show to get even crazier and wilder. There's a reason Season 3 resonates with so many people, it truly is the high point of the series and the next episode and the episodes after that to the finale just wow, I can't wait to see how you react to it I am truly excited!

It's even more complicated than a twin of the man she loved because she already loved John before they were split. So she loved both of them, but she has more history with the one who died that she doesn't have with the other one.

Even as a kid I really respected the chutzpah of the writers for splitting John and the crew and committing to a prolonged storyline in which they're just a part for the better part of a year. I was always predisposed towards Moya John because I found his situation more relatable. Talyn John more or less got everything he ever wanted. They still did a very effective job blurring the line between them: Moya John was on the right ship and was still involved in the main antagonist's plots, while Talyn John kept the girl, the gun, and the wardrobe. Farscape is such a weird and great show for making you examine your feelings towards two versions of the same character simultaneously.

A detail I like is that Stark never really lied to the Scarran - he was brought on board to help Talyn heal, way back when. And everything else he said was true as well. He may not be Crais' slave, but he is a member of a slave race, and he is serving under Crais' command. The way I understand what happened with the Displacement Engine is, the wormhole touched the star, and energy was transferred; that energy was shaped into a ball by the natural effect of the wormhole itself, and that ball of energy ripped across the fabric of spacetime like an icepick through pudding. The Dreadnaught was sort of pulled into a wormhole, only instead of into a wormhole it was straight into the stuff wormholes tunnel through. Yes, this hit me like an absolute gut-punch the first time. And this time, and every other time I've watched it. John got his happy ending - Harvey was gone, he was with Aeryn, and he *understood.* All the wormhole everything that he's been obsessed with trying to comprehend, he knew it. But of course this is Farscape, so his happy ending couldn't be a happily ever after. I knew I'd be crying during the episode; I didn't expect to cry *again* during the post-episode commentary. But "I wish Zahn were here" got me.

I've said it before (and it bears repeating). In Farscape and Doctor Who, all things are possible. Pulling the face of a star into the path of the Scarran ship through a wormhole? Oh Em Gee!!!
