It's Steam launch time! Patrons who qualify have gotten free copies, but anyone waiting for Steam, here it is:http://store.steampowered.com/app/793450/Desecration_of_Wings/

Let's hope for a successful launch! The first couple days of sales usually determine how much free promotion you get from Steam, so let's hope we get a positive cycle instead of a negative one.

Sorry if you've already answered this in previous posts but are there NFSW and SFW versions of this game?

The Steam version is SFW. But sadly Steam has come down hard on devs who share or mention the patches for their own work, so I can't say much there. Not after Steam gave me such a hard time getting accepted. =/ If anybody wants to throw up reviews or comments linking the patch, it would be much appreciated.

Steam is inconsistent on these things, but as I understand it, it violates rules for ME to link a patch, but it's fine if other people do. Darthjake and Secular Reason - thanks a bunch!

Hmm, not sure if this is the best place to post this, but when Felana's counterstrike is active, using a potion of some sort on her activates it towards an enemy. Will see if I can replicate it when her limit's back up.

The behavior isn't ideal, but that is how Felana's counterstrike limit works. It doesn't do full party counters, but in exchange, they do counter use of other skills.

I've noticed that games that have a NSFW patch aren't allowed to have the Devs themselves say there is a patch, but users get Pinned to the Discussion section mentioning the patch and that's okay. It's dumb that the Dev gets shit for it, but the users are completely free to discuss it openly.

Small bug report: Felana's Nurse and the out-of-combat revive don't seem to be in her skill list, so I don't think you can add them back if you take them off. Edit: Oh, but Stabilize is in the skill list out of combat anyway, so I guess they don't need to be equipped.

If you edit your comments very quickly (amongst other innocuous things), Patreon's spam filter is... less than ideal about what it eats, just btw. So it could be that.

I didn't edit them. Though I suppose it could still be Patreon. I leave a lot of comments since I follow a lot of creators. So maybe it thought I was a spam bot. But even my older comment that was there for hours got removed.

I've had comments mysteriously disappear on me hours after posting them as well. It's not clear to me whether Patreon just has a really bad automated system or if some staffer decided they didn't like the look of my comment. Each time the creator has denied deleting anything.

@Ver Greeneyes I had it happen to me once too. It came back after a while. But it was only one comment. Never three in a row. Weird. I don't doubt it could be Patreon's fault though. It's certainly not perfect.

Sorry, Patreon can be weird and unstable. I'm not sure what the rules are that lead to the spam filter eating comments.

This has happened to me too. I posted a link or combination of links their automation didn't like, and even after I had supposedly cleared things up with staff, I still had to contact them about my next few comments disappearing mysteriously. Basically, this place is just not a good discussion platform.

Indeed, skills that only work out of combat don't need to be in the list. They start there mainly to teach players to think critically about skills.

The tutorial does mention it, but it didn't occur to me that it would apply to out of combat heals as well (or maybe just anything you start with). I thought it meant you would learn abilities that can be used in and out of combat (e.g. to interact with something in the world), and you only have to equip them if you want to use them in combat (I don't know if there are skills like that).

A few heal skills are like that. It's not a common thing.

Looks like this a new version (v1.0.2) compared to the previous Patron release (v1.0.1). What changed?

Do I need to wait until I hit the end of the game for CG Recollection? I can't remember from the beta if that is the case.

The 1.0.2 version I got through Patreon email seems to be SFW? At least, when I got to a sex scene it just faded to black and moved on. (Not a big deal, since I can just load up the 1.0.1 save and go from there. Loving the game so far.)

A quick question if you would indulge me. I bought Desecration of Wings on Nutaku and I have just a quick question on the cg recollection area. Is the post game supposed to be done before you get there and if so how do you move forward out of the cg collection zone if possible. Apologies if this seems like a obvious question I just wanted to make sure there was not something I missed.

Playing the patched version (of course), just got an error in the hotspring scene in the town in the wastes: "Unable to find file Graphics/Pictures/z hotspring1." The game closes after I click OK. Managed to get past the error by creating a new 544x416 jpeg image and dropping it in the right place (and renaming it to "z hotspring1" without a file extension). Edit: Hmm, were there supposed to be visuals for the prostitution scene in that town? I just got a fade to black and then Anmin was satisfied. I hope my patch didn't mess up somehow.

Sorry, but it could also be labeled "endgame" - once you get to the gallery, you're done with the game. The postgame material is all the dungeons and bosses that are more difficult than the normal final boss.

I'm afraid that it does sound like your patch messed up - scenes fade to black only when there's no patch. Have you tried applying the patch again?

Yes, I just reinstalled the game and applied the patch again - now it works! Very odd, earlier scenes in the game worked just fine.

You're playing on Steam, right? This happened because I did an update to fix a bug, sorry about that. Glad to have confirmation that reapplying the patch works as it should.
