Ya know, this show has been way more personal than I thought it would be. When Glenn and I first started talking about doing it, it just seemed like a fun little romp through time, we'd talk about the time I finished Ninja Turtles in front of a retail buyer. We'd talk about the Game Genie stuff. But it's way deeper and, like, more revealing than that? I hope people are enjoying the show. This time around we talk about the rest of our time working in Berkeley, the Sega jacket that nearly ruined a friendship, Glenn's all-nighters, me being told that I'm basically worthless, and much more. I was glad to have this conversation, but for some reason I'm also glad that it's over. I'm not 100% sure why I feel this way about it, but I guess it was a more difficult time than I originally thought.

(I'll post some more photos of the other issues of the magazine a little later!)

This podcast is the reason why I subscribe at the level I do. You two are so good on a pod together and the stories are so fun to listen to. Thanks for opening this door and giving us a look into the past.

I mean this with nothing but love for Glenn, but "I'm the head guy" is giving me real "I'm Mr. Manager" from Arrested Development vibes and I can't stop laughing.

Outstanding episode. Thank you, Jeff and Glenn!

As requested here is my question for you guys: Why are IT guys so fucking weird, and what is your weird IT experience. My IT guy at my current job used to work with you at Gamespot (pre-CNET). He constantly sighs extremely loud, and goes on constant anti-Gen Z diatribes. It makes me want to scream. Please tell me your remember him from this description alone.

Have ever considered writing a book? I would love to read those stories enriched with quotes and interviews from 3rd parties who also been there with you.

I'm just getting caught up, but this episode is seriously some of the best podcasting I've heard in years. Appreciate the honesty and authenticity. This episode should be nominated for a podcast award of some sort.
