Being in the majority is like breathing air. You don't recognize it and don't realize it because it is just there and the way things are. The first time I felt this was when I went to Grace Hoppers - the women's tech conference as a sponsor and I was in the < 1% and I was like : "Oh so this is what being a minority feels like...." Its a surreal feeling - I am sorry that it is something that many feel often :(

The pica pau sounds like my husband’s dream food order - he loves pickled anything. I’m going to make him order this when he goes to Portugal.

This is probably too late but you can get vegetarian haggis at a bunch of spots in Scotland. If you can sub that for the regular haggis that might be nice

Joy, if it's not too late... I had haggis in Scotland and it wasn't bad! I'm not big on organ meats but the one I had was similar in taste and texture to ground sausage. Heavily seasoned and it was easy to avoid the casing. Have fun!!

A PSA for credit cards in (most of) Europe. Something I learnt the hard way: The "standard" US/Australia/UK credit card is one where you buy things and then you pay off the card in monthly installments with minimal payments. In Europe the normal credit card is one where you need to pay the **full** amount at the end of the month. Still don't understand why you didn't live in Australia. SE Asian represent. Watch Masterchef Australia to confirm.

Australia did not have a pathway for us :)

I ate it today! And it was… fine?

As a Commerce enthusiast, "I have mastered this mall" is my favorite thing ever said on this series.

It’s really nothing to write home about. For me, it’s either tasted terrible, or just tasted like “something to eat”.

“What a great thing, to have things you know you’re going to miss”. Oof that one got me Joy. 😭
