Katherine

A pair of doves for Valentine's day 💝

Jude

I would like a badger with a hedgerow scenario, or a Scottish Island....like looking from Iona back towards Mull and the beautiful water. I was going to ask for a Hebridean sheep but I seen there is a brown one a bit like that which I will now look at :)

Nicola Archbold

Hi Harriet, I’d love to learn how to paint a post box with some valentines cards popping out, might be a cute card design x

Monica

I would love to paint a clothes laundry line in a beautiful yard. Very difficult to think of something you have not painted.

Guylaine Godin

Hello Harriet, are you familiar with the "sugar season"... It is a period of 4 to 6 weeks that corresponds to the exploitation of maple groves. This is particularly important in Quebec culture. When I was little, the whole family went to one of my uncles who had a small sugar shack. It was a celebration with my cousins... Here it means the end of winter and the beginning of spring. Painting a little sugar shack might be a good idea, here is some inspiration. 😊 https://pin.it/AendNezB3 https://pin.it/1zTibBik6 https://pin.it/3oFgc9tbz https://pin.it/447U3CBvE

I’ve enjoyed the beautiful alphabet + florals your friend Clare Therese Gray has been painting. Could you take on the letters of the months with a mixture of the month’s flowers twined through the letter? Violets & primroses … you’ve painted them individually but I don’t think in combination. I loved Annie’s floral letter A she painted in Eymet. 🤍

Sara Shepperson

Hi I’m new here joining after enjoying the advent last Christmas I would like to see painting sheep in a little more detail Thank you

Laura Rumble

Not seasonal, but as you are so good with birds have you ever done a budgie?

Gemma

I always love new birthday card ideas. :-)

Leah

A winter landscape, maybe sunrise or sunset reflected on an icy river?

Helen Curtis

Pancakes for Shrove Tuesday, 4th March 2025.

Phyllis

I would love a tutorial on painting camellias. I have several trees in my yard and they bloom in winter. I have pictures.

Susan Ing

Raindrops/condensation running down a window perhaps with a heart or some kind of drawing like someone has drawn on the window if that makes sense? Something a bit like this: https://pin.it/6zkHuWDYz https://pin.it/KfxmHde0B A pair of swans or other birds with flowers for valentines day.

Laura Boxberg

Venetian carnival masks with fun colours? 🎭

Donna Jordan

Any landscape or old buildings

Susan Conard

I like your idea. I looked at the Inso. pins. Those would be a pleasure to try..

Susan Conard

Hi Harriet, I really like Guylaine's idea. Winter is here, and spring will be here soon enough. Staying in the season and making it fun with such a nice watercolor try would be delightful. Thanks!

Stacy

Cottage w/a spring meadow

Pam

I have three suggestions 🙂

Pam

A desert landscape, a rainbow, icicles with maybe colors reflecting in them…thanks Harriet!

Stacy

How to paint a stained glass window look or hanging decoration on watercolor paper. Thank you 😊

Linda Bloom

A winter bridal bouquet, a reading nook with books and plants, a country kitchen (Patreon)

Gigi

Love your 3rd go of the watercolor hangout peacock! I may have to revisit this because my first go was just a quick try! Susan’s suggestion of a wet window sounds intriguing!

Gemma

This would work well with baby clothes too!

Berni

To continue tutorials on birds, what about the Luzon bleeding-heart dove?

Uli O'Connor

A Highland cow. I tried to look for one but didn't see it, might have missed it though lo a Jack Russel type dog or a boarder collie :) says I that loves florals and landscapesl

Betsi

I’d like to do a painting of a house, (to help me figure out how I’d paint my house). Paint your own house, would be fun, but it sounds impossible.

Betsi

Also more birds, maybe some babies?

CynthiaJQ

Something Valentines...maybe a statue in a rose garden?

Erin Berlin

Dogs! Lots of dogs. I'd love to paint my two dogs but I have no idea where to start and how to not make them look like cartoon dogs . I can provide excellent reference photos ;)

Ilse Koerts

Is a map of an island an idea?

Debbie V

A desert mountain landscape

Tash

Would love an underwater ocean scene or coral/ponds

Melanie Davis

Whenever I paint landscapes, I struggle with adding the detail on hills, fields, and trees, especially in the foreground. It often ends up looking overworked. Could you do a tutorial on how to add detail in landscapes without overworking it? That would help me so much.

Dorothy

A Scottish piper, perhaps with vague scenery or church in background

Sarah Lemoine

As I LOVE your miniatures so much, I suggest: more miniatures.☺️ (I am currently trying to paint little fruit/vegetables/milk/eggs etc to create a shopping list for my toddler who is soo happy to see appearing some bananas on the paper and that made me think to suggest you this 😁)

Sarah Lemoine

Oh yes! I thought also about a little Commedia dell'arte inspired Carnival Scene 🎭

Alison Gammon

I agree - grassy fields are tricky too!

Sarah Lemoine

Second idea: Notre-Dame de Paris (by day or by night 😍🌟)

Cindy Lamb

A misty/foggy landscape that's not difficult.

Elizabeth Escobedo

I love the roses from the June 2025 calendar! It would be such a wonderful tutorial.

Two Tiny Homes (Carol)

How you approach taking an actual photo reference into a watercolor.

Connie

A fireplace burning brightly, with a pretty wash background.

Laura Boxberg

Ooh that would be brilliant 😍

Marie

I’m struggling with size and perspective, so perhaps something that incorporates these into any of the above suggestions! Thanks x

Mishi

It would be great to have nine different coffee cups on a larger sheet ☕️🥰🫶🏼♥️

Meow

I would love to see stained glass windows and church architecture please.

Meow

With romantic ribbons and bows around them. 💕

F Quercia

A beach scenery with sun! I found February so miserable

de Winton Paper co.

Ah yes Clare's letters are lovely! She was saying to me she underestimated the project! I have a plan for something fun with this kind of thing in the Spring.

de Winton Paper co.

Hey Betsi, you can definitely paint your own house by adapting some basics from our tutorials. If you're in the sweet pea tier there are lots of housepainting tutorials

Laura Rumble

Oh brilliant! I'll look forward to that.

Guylaine Godin

as you seem to be unfamiliar with the maple syrup season, here is a short video that explains well how to make maple syrup until about the 60s... Then everything became mechanized with a rube system that goes from one tree to another 😊 https://youtu.be/8LswRRSfUFo?si=91aptKF0Hiq3lV4w

Susan Ing

Ooh I must have missed that one! I'll give that a go. I had another idea of a sun shining on a frozen waterfall but I'm sorry if I've missed something similar you might have already done!

Kathy

Hi Harriet. I mentioned this before but I would love to do a seasonal (spring) calendar like the advent calendar with daily snippets of things that are reminders of that season

Kathy

Lambs or little farm animals. They’re so cute

Yue He

Birth stones for January, February and March? continue with this series?

Rebecca

I know you love shadows. :) Maybe something with the U.S. Groundhog Day theme...

Anne Ridley

Hi Harriet. More detailed birds like the bohemian waxwing please.

Kristin

Would love to try detailed vegetables.

Jessica Schwarz

I still have difficulties painting flowers at different angles even having the real thing in front of me and using the circles/ovals to show where the center would be. Apart from that I have wanted to write my favourite poem in a painting that suits the mood (in this case about the sea). I know it's super specific but I'd be intrigued to see what you come up with. I have tried and thought up so many options that my 10 year old son was fed up and wrote and embellished it for me...

Emma

Foxgloves please!

Svetlana Tsalik

I love the food subjects--maybe a steaming coffee with a pastry?

Farseashore

Cattails (bulrushes) in a marsh setting

Tracy

Birth flowers 2 every month. Maybe a flower and relevant birth stone? Or an owl at night

de Winton Paper co.

Hi Tracy, I have a lot of birth flower and birthstone tutorials on the channel already you can check out

de Winton Paper co.

Ah jessica we have a whole chapter about flowers on angles in the new book but I do also have a youtube tutorial dedicated to this matter already

de Winton Paper co.

That probably wont manage to fit on a youtube tutorial but I'll keep it in mind for patreon

Ana Bechara

A reef! (I can provide pictures!)

Ana Bechara

Also, a bed with cushions and a plump cover. To work on wrinkles on fabric... extremely challenging for me!
