Thanks so much for your fantastic comments. I write every single one down and if they aren't put into the immediate list for the month they remain contenders for future projects.

This month on Youtube, you have chosen:

Youtube

hibiscus

chinese lantern branch

lotus flowers

ducks and ducklings

dandelions

herbs

strawberries

geranium

clematis

highland cows

And over on the watercolour challenges for the Sweet Pea and Cherry Blossom tiers we're making great progress on flower painting and are going to start to incorporate glass vases, full, proper arrangements and more detailed paintings of the flowers themselves. This will then transition into creating nice flower borders and patterns for the budding stationers out there!

Have a great weekend!

Lynne Morea

I would love to see a weeping willow tree

Caroline Wasterlain

Ooh Lynne I love the weeping willow idea. I would REALLY love to see some floral borders/detailing, for stationary and such. And I would love more focus on flower composition, maybe more of a full bouquet composition.

Kim Church

Anything you do will be great.. 😊

Jana

Happy anniversary/birthday! I have learned so much from this channel. How about tea cups, dandelions, hibiscus, flowers in a glass vase or practicing glass in general?

Kathy Goode

I love the weeping willow idea too as well as any flowers in a glass vase. The only other suggestion would be to add some fruits, like blueberries, raspberries or strawberries.

Verity

Hello! Moon phases would be lovely. I’ve seen some done with metallic watercolours but no tutorials I’ve come across. I’d also love to see a Chinese lantern branch/plant and euphorbia.

Alexandria Angelides

Love the weeping willow as well. That would be great. Flower arrangements, spring flowers in a field or garden.

Barb k

I love purple oxalis, a type of wood sorrel. The candy cann

Barb k

Sorry.... candy cane sorrel would be beautiful in a seasonal boquet.

Margaret O Brien

I’d love a ladybird tutorial and maybe a more realistic flower, rose etc. With a downloadable sketch to go with it xxx

Karen

Would love a David Austin rose but always happy with anything you share. Love your channel and thank you.

ABIGAIL G.

I’m new to your channel and Patreon, love all of it! Would love to see a simple sunset painted either with a field of flowers or beach. Love your work! Thank you so much!

Pam K

Red, white, and green caladiums would be lovely. Thanks for the wonderful tutorials!!

Kate Neubert

Fully seconding the voices around how wonderful the YouTube channel and your work is. I wonder if there’s an easy way to draw loose people, as part of a scenery or urban watercolour painting.

Nancy

Love the suggestion of a tutorial on painting glass!

Kristine Callahan

I love all if your tutorials! I wouod love a Geranium.

Lily Anne Baldwin

How about a tutorial on painting a cake or cup cake in watercolor in honor of the anniversary ?

de Winton Paper co.

this is all going to be happening in the coming weeks on Patreon but good to know if I can get it into youtube too. I just want to make sure that my patreons get things that dont end up on youtube too

DeePee

I'd love some spacey type things, moon phases, planets, comets, or a galaxy would be awesome. 🌌

Marianne Alblas

I love everything you paint, maybe a bee-eater.

Sophie

I’d would been on getting another tuto on landscape painting - Fuji mountain with snow, in the distance, fields in the foreground. Thank you for all your inspiration 🍀

Maria Cromer

I love your florals. I would love to see a Clematis.

Bell Foster

I would love to paint a Bluebonnet.

Fay

Oh weeping willow sounds wonderful! I am new to your channel and so I wouldn’t know if you’ve done these yet but hydrangeas would be great as well. Thanks! Looking forward to learning more!

Karen Dua

Cat and kittens.

Kathy Graham

A Weeping Willow is my favorite tree! I would love to learn how to paint one. Another house painting with a water feature.❤️

Éva Fancsali

I loved the metallic painting with the dried flowers, it would be nice to have something similar. It was so delicate. Also botanical, but somewhat different is painting herbs and vegetables, I would love that too.

Dian

Vegetables would be something different especially as are getting into the growing season here in the UK. Would also love to do sweet peas. Enjoying all the tutorials and learning lots so thank you Harriet.

April Haxby

I love all your work Harriet. It is just so beautiful. I see a lot of people have mentioned painting glass. I recently wanted to paint a rose in a cut glass vase. I trawled the internet looking for tutorials on how to do cut glass, but didn't find any, so that may be of interest? Funnily enough I did manage to work out on my own how to paint it in the end, but the rose I did was awful. I think for your birthday celebrations you should paint yourself a beautiful birthday card with your favourite subjects on it. You deserve it.

Linda Bloom

Clematis, Fruits and Vegetables, Lilies

Frances Ross

Yes, with a candle and a flame! I love that idea. Maybe with a reflection off a window?

Wendy Poff

I would love to try a hot air balloon (colorful with textures but simple shapes!). I'm from Ohio in the United States so I also think a crop field landscape would be a fun tutorial that incorporates landscapes with produce. I also think a vintage dress on a mannequin would be a cute idea! All of your tutorials are so beautiful, whichever you choose I know will be lovely!

Lisa Kerr

Highland cows please and maybe a castle. Australian flowers like wattle, Geraldton Wax, bottle brush, flannel flowers, Sturt Desert Pea to name a few.

Diane Newman

Clematis or Snakes head fritillary would be lovely. Also a dragonfly or frog to go with the waterlily pond theme? Thank you. X

Linda Hess

Pink carnations; cottages

harriet de winton

Hi Harriet, personally I am really interesting in portraits, and mountainous landscapes which are very difficult to paint because of the shadows/effects and the rock.

Romain L.

Few ideas for May: Cat (tabby), lilac and lighthouse.

Anita D

Delftware teacup and saucer?

Zoe Treacy

Everyone I’ve found is not as I imagined

Rachel Malinkovich

lilies of the valley, more advanced peonies, chicks and hens plants, bleeding heart plant, crabapple flowers, lilac

Sherryl Sime

would love something on hens please

Robyn Mills

Any of the above with maybe emphasis on shadows.

Oh I‘m looking forward to this YouTube month! 💕 Thank you Harriet 🥰

Kate Higgins

I have a beautiful camilla that has a cerise pink at the tip of its petals, that would definitely be a challenge.

Kate Higgins

Also thank you for all of your videos, I just don't have as much time as I would like to paint - work keeps getting in the way!

Can we do a Harbour scene at some point please? 🥰
