It's incredible how much hard work you put into every aspect of your creations, from the detailed research writing, to authentic international languages and cultures, the superb sound design and absolutely unique atmospheric theme music. Truly appreciate your dedication and effort you put into your work. Thank you and your team and take care!

Vimesy said it best! I will simply say thank you for all of your creativity and hard work. I've thoroughly enjoyed everything your team has shared.

Ooh that new intro song is just *chef’s kiss* perfection. I’ve listened to it a few times.

Megan Gates

oh wow, it is really refreshing to hear that you do your research on the time frame! Really cool!

That "horse bit" had me in tears - reminded me of a heated discussion our international drama group once had about how to imitate and then shoo away a seagull...

This was so delightful - I'm finally caught up on Avrum (and the rest of the exclusives!) and so deeply enjoyed hearing Yiddish here, notwithstanding the terrible context of the Khmelnytskyy massacres. One question I had re the casting / worldbuilding process - how did you settle on Yelena to voice Avrum? So many of your cast were first-time actors, but I gather that Yelena was not a newcomer. Is Avrum meant to be a child, or a young Yentl-esque trans man? Everyone referred to Avrum with male pronouns, but I thought that could have been a conscious choice to ignore the gender of the person playing him.

We had a great difficulty finding someone from Ukraine who was Jewish that spoke Eastern Yiddish, Ukrainian, and English with the proficiency needed to deliver the performance we required of the role. Yelena was not only qualified but the person we felt comfortable entrusting our entire show to. Casting women in the role of boys is very common in voice acting, and Avrum is meant to be a young boy. She did a FANTASTIC job in the role and we greatly enjoyed working with her on the project :)
