I find it refreshingly surprising how positively symbiotic the Human-Baxxid relationship is, at least according to the limited interactions we've seen so far. Humans can be quite arrogant and xenophobic (see e.g. relations with the Yinglets) and the Baxxid could look down upon these literal manual workers, but instead there is a feeling of mutual respect, interweaving of respective strengths and supporting rhe other's weaknesses.

I honestly blame RPGs and JRPGs like do you have any idea how biased those are against humans? Like SHEESH, never really see a human in a good light if any of those games have another species.

I definitely love the generalized "non-stab" manipulation hook. Like it had to be specified. "These are NOT for stabbing!" Speaking of which, how often is it known that Baxxid can have serrated blades for combat/hunting? Like is it public knowledge? Uncommon knowledge? (As in the average citizen wouldn't know unless they're actively studying Baxxids or ivernmoth guardsmen) or specific knowledge? (A sort of "if you don't need to know, you're not going to know." Like you'll have to be ivernmoth guardsmen or a hired merc working with a Baxxid to learn of this but you're encouraged not to share this info.)

I'd imagine any human who does it for free on a job that doesn't take alot of time will be very popular among them. Also I can't get over Baxxid sugar daddies. XD Just a Baxxid flexing it's "harem" of helpers to others.

It helps that the baxxid have been around the city for generations, with a lot of effort made to integrate them; whereas yinglets are still extremely new on the block and their culture makes it hard for them to integrate formally!

Honestly they could probably make something work by having slotted prostheses that slotted into things like trays and specially-made teacups/kettles

Most people are aware there are some "unusual ones" that still do the hunting thing, but they don't really worry about it nearly as much as the baxxid themselves do.
