Help pick the Holiday movie we will react to!

Please feel free to suggest other options in the comments for future polls!

NOTE: Sam has seen Miracle on 34th Street, The Nightmare Before Christmas, and The Polar Express so this would only be my first time watching!

Michael Rutter

Definitely hoping Edward Scissorhands wins.

Paul Cox

The Polar Express? More like Uncanny Valley: The Movie.

Daniel Gurney

Yes! My movie is at 100% let's keep this going

Jimmy Gragg

I also suggest Scrooge (1970). It’s a musical FYI.

Backlog Andy M.

Love Actully has become a UK tradition on tv here.

Mike Adams

No Christmas Vacation? It's not Christmas without the Griswalds!

fish_thefilmcollector

The Ref is my FAVORITE Christmas movie!! So clever, quick-witted and sarcastic! Plus Santa!!

TBR Schmitt

Unfortunately, we've both already seen National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation! A Christmas staple! -Sam

Toc

Hey I've got a great one for next year, it's one that's on TV every year, a big classic that inexplicably has never been reacted to yet! Definitely always been a tradition for my family, on both sides, something I watch every single year: Laurel & Hardy in "March Of The Wooden Soldiers". Great, classic, hilarious, totally holds up, so christmassy.....and also scary! (and also short!). Definitely one for next year....or for showing your kid!

penoyer79

my personal fav on this list is The Ref.

Eric Stevenson

The 1951 version of The Christmas Carol is objectively and conclusively the best one

Opie Wan

Need to add Bill Murry's Scrooged and A Christmas Story (1983) though you've probably seen that one, it runs every year multiple times.

TBR Schmitt

Scrooged is already on the channel! We have both seen A Christmas Story! It's actually a Christmas Eve tradition with my parents so Daniel's been in on it for 10+ Christmas' too haha -Sam

Paul Cox

Some years I'm over it. I'll say to myself, "ok I'm only going to watch A Christmas Story three times instead of seven!" lol

MaggieS61

Absolutely. Alastair Sim is perfection in it.

Guston Zimasheen

"That Christmas" (2024) an animated Christmas fantasy comedy. and "Love the Coopers" (2015) A.K.A. "Christmas with the Coopers" in the UK and Ireland.

Brandon Meng

Love Actually is a mandatory Christmas watch and I'll be responsible for like 10,000 of your views if it ends up winning. Side question, do films that don't win polls ever get thrown into the watching rotation or do they absolutely have to get first place to eventually be seen? My recommendation for a Christmas movie not on this list is Klaus. Animated movie, will completely surprise you with its depth and just how good it is, I guarantee it. Cheers!

Andrew Patterson

How is Love Actually not winning this so far!! lol

Smooticus

Daniel hasn't seen Nightmare Before Christmas????

Smooticus

Love Actually is an incredibly charming movie

James

The shop around the corner is amazing. Between that and and the family man

Alex

Woo let's go Edward Scissorhands! Also Nightmare Before Christmas... I've never seen the latter so it would be great to go on the first voyage with you guys. But Edward Scissorhands first (looks like that's what's going to win anyway. I think Tim Burton definitely warrants his own category. Absolutely brilliant, and Wednesday season 1 and 2 are amazing. I'm guessing maybe the reason why it hasn't appeared is you guys already watched season 1 back when it came out.

MsMeree520

Edward Scissorhands would be my first suggestion, but also the original Miracle on 34th Street (1947, in black and white). It's a classic! The 1994 version has the best soundtrack. You should also check out Daddy's Home 2. This is a Christmas-themed movie. It is so funny.

EdmanXERO

Edward Scissorhands is my first Tim Burton movie I've ever watched. I'd gladly watch it again with you guys if it wins.

Paul Cox

They reacted to the original Miracle last December 🎅

MsMeree520

That's cool. I wasn't sure. The soundtrack for the 1994 is really awesome

Max Rinaldi

I would have never thought to associate "Edward Scissorhands" to Christmas.

David Wilkins

It’s hard to imagine where this poll will lead. 🎬😶

Mario

I knew it probably wouldn't win but still voted for The Family Man. There aren't many reactions of it on YT.

Donna Castellano

I'm bummed The Ref is so far behind. It's one of my 3 regular Christmas movie watches every year.

Browniewin

Wrong version of Miracle on 34th Street ... the original (1947) version is worth watching. Also worth watching is, It's a Wonderful Life (1946).

Paul Cox

There are already reactions to both of those films on the channel.

Tyler Foster

Sometimes a second-place will get a chance if the vote is *really* close, like 10-15 votes. However, that has become less frequent since they cut back their output from two movies per week to one. A few months back, Face/Off lost a poll by one vote or something like that, and apparently they've confirmed it will happen eventually, but it has been quite awhile now and it still hasn't actually popped up yet.

Future Boy

I watch it every year too. I was really hoping this year it would be with Daniel and Sam!
