Help pick the Winter movie we will react to!

Please feel free to suggest other options in the comments for future polls!

NOTE: Daniel has seen Snowpiercer so this would only be Sam's first time watching!

Question: it wasn't included in the 2010s best picture poll, and it's not here either. Have you guys already seen The Revenant off the channel?

Paul Cox

Aww ok, too bad for us, but great for you!

ButtercupsTrueLove

That's a pretty good movie and not one I see very often on reaction channels.

Backlog Andy M.

Wind River is brilliant. So is Grumpier Old Men. Totally different.

Hunter DeRensis

Eddie the Eagle is magnificently charming.

Jeromy M

I really hope Wind River can win this one. Stellar film.

Paul Cox

I had never seen that until Popcorn In Bed reacted to it, but I thought it was great!

penoyer79

"A Simple Plan" by a mile

mikethemotormouth

200 Cigarettes(1999) takes place on NYE and Go(1999) takes place on Xmas Eve, if those count

Duncan

''The Grey (2011)'' Liam Neeson ''Vertical Limit (2000)'' Bill Paxton

"What one man can do, another can do. And again. What one man can do, another can do. Yeah. You're goddamn right. Cause today, I'm going to kill the motherfucker."

Dor

WInd River is *so good* - gotta get that one over the top! :)

Duncan

it's a rabbit smoking a pipe

Deano

Enemy at the gates has to be in a war one at some point what an under rated classic

Brandon Meng

Seriously, nobody does The Edge. It's an amazing movie, suspenseful, gripping, and maybe my favorite survival movie. If not this round please please consider for the future!

Andrew Patterson

As 100% tribal affiliated American Indian, I’m glad to see Wind River in the lead on this one. It’s very interesting thriller mystery, unlike other ones, this one hits home because of its story taking place on Indian Reservation aka The Rez as we call it. It’s was hard film for me to watch because I feel for though characters and Tribal Police chief is played by Graham Greene who died recently, he played Kicking Bird in Your recent reaction Dances With Wolves. He’s oneida tribe from Six Nations of the Grand River in Ontario Canada. I really hope this wins. Fingers crossed.

YoureMrLebowski

I've seen one reaction to The Edge from EOM (and he never made a YouTube cut.)

Florian Meier

The Edge always loses :( such a great Film .... Wind River is also a great Winner

Smooticus

Wind River is excellent

Smooticus

Had to put a vote in for Dr Zhivago - the ultimate winter movie. It's long, but really, really good. Plus it has one of the best reveals ever

Matthew Maxon

We need laughs. Grumpy Old Men I hope wins.

James

The Edge!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Chris

Gotta do Wind River! 🙌 (and the other two films in the Frontier Trilogy 😂)

Mark M

A couple other suggestions for winter movies: The Dead Zone (1983) Beautiful Girls (1996)

Will Zamora

The Edge is a great movie

John DiGiantomasso

An action-adventure Cold War spy thriller written by Alister McClaine set at the North Pole with lots of wintery snow: ICE STATION ZEBRA

Max Rinaldi

Oh, man, I've never even heard about half of these movies (not in their original titles, at least)

Forrest

All in on Wind River. Phenomenal movie and will definitely make you cold watching. lol

Mario

Grumpier Old Men got my vote, but only because it's been a while since the first one.

Roy Wright

Glad Wind River is winning. Great movie

Philip

Sideways (2004) is an overlooked great drama comedy

Birdie Num Num

I wonder how many voting have not seen A Simple Plan(I like Wind River too, but 30 more votes than A Simple Plan?)

Indy Traveler

I voted for Wind River, but I have to admit I found some of it disturbing.

Tyler Foster

Ugh. As the world's most dedicated Taylor Sheridan despiser, do I want Wind River to win simply so it can never win again, or do I want to hope that 30 Days of Night (which I've never seen) overtakes it?

David Wilkins

I know what you mean. I’ve entered it a few times for the monthly drawing, and will again.

ChopSockey

Out of Sight for a great crime thriller. Or The Big Sleep for the absolute best and most convoluted (in a fun way) film noir ever made, Bogart and Bacall in their peak. I liked Wind River a lot but I am Taylor Sheridan-fatigued
