Hell or High Water (2016) First Time Watching! Full Movie Reaction!!

Comments

Chris

Ben Foster is so underrated

Smooticus

A very under appreciated movie

Chris Bruneau

Taylor Sheridan screenplay--he is always great! think Sicaro, Soldado and Wind River-- you guys are in for a treat!!!

Birdie Num Num

Guess the poll winner with some similar themes you are referring to in your comments at the end is OBAA. For a second i was like, Naked Gun 2 and Deep Impact had someone being murdered?

QuiGon_Jim

I found Sicario and Wind River to be infinitely better than this film personally. Not saying it's a bad film, but just don't get all the praise it gets.

Florian Meier

Really unexpected reaction to a good Film... for more Jeff Bridges i recommend "Jagged Edge" from 1985 with Glenn Close, "Thunderboldt and Lightfoot" from 1974 with Clint Eastwood and " Against All Odds" from 1984

Steve Mercier

Spectacular movie...it's hard to go up against Jeff Bridges, but Chris Pine gives it his all and comes out looking good here. I love a good modern Western.

David Martin

Jeff Bridges in "True Grit" is a great casting as well. Highly recommended, not just for him but for the entire package.

dammit. i just watched this. now i have to watch it again. lol not that that is a bad thing but... vaguely annoying when i hadn't seen it in 2 years and then you watch it a week after i watched it lol

TBR Schmitt

Sicario is one of our favorites! We haven't seen Soldado though! -Sam

TBR Schmitt

That's fair! Sicario is def my favorite so far! -Sam

TBR Schmitt

We have seen True Grit off the channel! -Sam

Ray Johnson

They filmed this mostly in Eastern New Mexico and in the Albuquerque area, but it's just like West Texas small towns. Depressing. Dusty. Old. Quiet. It's definitely a movie on a smaller scale than Sicario and No Country for Old Men, but it knows what type of movie it is and delivers. I love it.

Dan literally pointed him out. try watching it first next time. he was the cowboy herding cattle from the brush fire.

OddThomas

For more Ben Foster he's in a great vampire film: 30 Days of Night. For more Jeff Bridges: Starman. My favourite Taylor Sheridan project is the series 1883 (I still haven't seen Yellowstone though!).

Matt

Sicario definitely

Matt

Place Beyond The Pines 2012 for another great "bank robbery" movie
