That snap scene was PEAK HORROR, but in general, maybe the second-best episode of the show yet??

I still enjoy these lessons on "how to enjoy anime". Very much like a sommelier but minus the pretentiousness. Anti-hipster, if you will. Need more of this. Reddit take note. Also I think I'm seeing the appeal of newer reactors that are watching stuff for the first time. They come on with zero expectations and just watch something even if they're not paying attention or half-invested. But then you can always tell when the show hooks them. It's really weird that the best reactions are at the polar opposites of the experience spectrum. Everyone in the middle is just insufferable...

Bro... I haven't finish watching this yet, but when the pop grabs the priest's head in the keeling position.. I see a potential for a diabolical thumbnail😭😭😭

We need season 3 already. The manga really tells me that a lot of content was skipped or timeline rearranged, because somewhere around when our boy got his sword, story deviates a little for manga, and we're here with Rose girl on a horse. It's nice seeing stuff I haven't seen up to now. People will complain about how shit is not the same as manga etc, but for me it's just extra content and I enjoy it a lot🗿 also I do agree this is one of the best episode so far in terms of animation. I always enjoy it when the 3D monsters are shaded right and move just enough frame but not give it 60 fps movements. I only wish all the 3D monster in other show were shaded properly like this, and not weird shiny ass in places it shouldn't be shiny. Again, the human 3D looks so damn good. If it wasn't for the smooth movement and too consistent body proportion when they move and turn around, etc, you would have thought it was 2D 🗿

So far I've avoided both light novel and manga, but from what I've read the discrepancies could be because the manga deviated a lot from the light novels. The anime is allegedly based on the light novels, so that could be where the differences stem from. For an extreme version of this, you could look at "Kumo Desu Ga, Nani Ka?!" (So I'm A Spider, So What?!), where the manga pretty much completly removes the parallel plot of the reincarnated school kids and instead solely focuses on Kumoko. Could also be like Tsukimichi, though, where the anime just skips a lot of content in order to end each season with an intense battle.

The outro dialogue in this episode (that you sadly skipped) was actually done by Mewi for a change. She even gets praised by Beryl for doing a good job with it.

Yeah, and I enjoy the allegedly novel adaptation anime storyline. I don't know if the manga content I have read up to current anime episode is from the further down the line from the Novel? Seems like it is from manga reader perspective. Either way I'm enjoying the anime and the manga the way they are!. As for the "So I'm a a spider, so what?!" I did not know that the mange didn't go parallel timeline route from both perspective, that's pretty interesting though. I want to have a read when I have time.
