I went into this episode knowing nothing other than the description and seeing a thumbnail. I thought it was going to be a light hearted comedy, I sure was wrong. Based on the first episode I definitely want to keep watching it.

Having savings is a pipe dream many try to feed me. Not possible in this day and age unless you luck out and get a job that doesn't piss in your hand and call it enough. Never been an option for me and never will. Life does not allow it. All the control and options others speak of are just beautiful lies they allow themselves to dream as they delussionally go about life; failing to appreciate their own luck. Important lesson never ever invest more money than you are willing to lose! I mean currency trading is pretty risky as that is affected by so many things outside of your control. That it often can be hard to pinpoint exactly why a currency is doing bad. No instead do an index found, and if you feel like you are up for it try to invest in regular stocks. My portfolio has risen nicely with around 17% this year. Big parts because of my investment in certain tech stocks. Which many have more then double in value since I invested in them. So yeah you need to be smart and watch the news to see the signs when it comes to investing. Otherwise if you do it carelessly you basically have yourself to blame for it

stuff like XEQT I quite like cause while there will be years you lose money, if it's for greater than a 10 year hold you will make more before you need it. I started using it like 5 years ago? and the return has been like 30ish percent or something. ofc it will drop and have bad years but it's my retirement, so idc and barely pay attention to it cause its savings not my emergency fund etc. in canada we also have a tax free investing account so even if I made a million in it it's all tax free. but ya i like to invest in the largest 9k companies all in one cause for all of them to go down it means the world is over anyway and I got bigger issues than fake money. i just put the allowed amount per year in said account and barely look at it for peace of mind and knowing ill have a retirement

Since a few years ago I moved my portfolio out from my bank to two different services. One has access to better index founds. While the other one is like an automatic robot that invest in various things. I monthly put in 1,000kr which is about 100$/€. Which has had good growth. Also both of these are accounts that I do not need to put on my taxes either. Which makes it so much easier when I need to do my taxes. But yeah I have invested in AI companies/industry. As despite hating it if it is going to take over the world. At least what it can do is make me rich.
