And we're back again.

Also, I am going to be writing more Void Crowne chapters starting today.

My motivation is back for it, and I have the free time again now that Winter Wolf book 8 is finished.

I'll probably release the new series on Royal Road soon. After I get a few more chapters of it written.

All Around the PlanetYear 2853 | Month 6 | Day 13

Soon after Nathan kills the sea beast, news spreads all throughout the planet of his official ascension to Class S. Making waves as the various news outlets go wild after a single news outlet manages to obtain footage of the Undying Magician slaying the sea beast with the help of his new Tier X spell.

Magicians all over begin to study the new spell within the footage while discussing their own theories about it. Along with potential technological advances the Undying Magician could bring the world if he went into magitech development.

There are no other magicians with more than one affinity, after all. Nor are there any other space affinity magicians currently alive who can develop spatial magitech beyond the levels already developed by past space magicians.

Meanwhile the civilians across the planet focus on a different aspect of the news.

That being the Undying Magician’s single-handed defeat of a sea beast with little difficulty.

Thanks to that, requests from various coastal nations all over begin to arrive at the Eternal Tower requesting his assistance dealing with sea beasts in their own waters.

But despite his upgrade to Class S, the Alliance merely makes public congratulatory statements with no requests. Clearly showing their cautious approach to the immortal magician.

And Crimson can’t help but laugh when he sees this reaction.

“They act so boldly against me, but the moment an unkillable magician appears with numerous affinities, they lose all of their bark?” Crimson says while sitting on his throne. “This is hilarious.”

The various magicians gathered around the throne room at the top of the First Magic Tower speak their agreement on the matter.

Despite Crimson’s power, the Alliance has always treated him as just an equal. They can’t offend him since he could cause disasters for their nations, but they don’t show a significant amount of respect either and care more about their own agendas in the end. Simply because Crimson is just one person.

When faced with a single opponent, albeit one who has control over numerous Class S magicians, the Alliance doesn’t feel anywhere near as threatened. Because they can kill him in a game of numbers.

All magicians eventually run out of mana when faced with an enormous army.

And the Alliance is capable of gathering an army of over a billion soldiers and lower Class magicians. Which, with the help of magitech, is enough to fight the Magic Towers.

They merely don’t because it would cause them far too many casualties, threatening their position at the top of the world’s nations.

Crimson has never taken them seriously, though. Nor would he waste his time fighting them in an all-out war.

He has no interest in making the planet uninhabitable, after all. Which is exactly what would happen if they genuinely fought.

Crimson also knows that the Alliance feels the same. As long as the two sides stay in their own lanes, nothing will happen. No matter how rude one side may act towards the other.

Neither side is greedy enough to desire what the other has. And even the rudeness isn’t shared by all members of either side.

It’s limited to a couple leaders alone. Specifically the councilmembers of the Melcians, one of the three nations of the Alliance.

And, despite his amusement, he does understand why they feel this way about the Undying Magician.

Even he feels cautious about Nathan.

While Nathan isn’t much of a threat to him now, Nathan will continue to grow without any potential way to stop his growth.

He will likely end up becoming as powerful as a god after hundreds or thousands of years.

Crimson taps his fingers on his throne for a few seconds before declaring, “Send a congratulatory letter of our own to the Undying Magician. Politely include a question verifying whether he is planning on attending the upcoming events or not.”

“Understood,” one of the magicians within the throne room declares before moving.

And the Magic Towers aren’t the only ones who request verification from Nathan about the events. Because soon after, a verification request arrives at the Eternal Tower from the Alliance as well.

NathanYear 2853 | Month 6 | Day 13

It doesn’t take long before I find a massive pile appearing on my desk from various nations, each with congratulations held within for my ascension to official Class S status. But they don’t really matter much to me. What’s more important are the letters from the Alliance and the Magic Tower.

Both of which are asking if I plan on attending The Arcane Crown, the Grand Tower Auction, and the Arcane Research Convention. Which are the grand magician tournament, the enormous auction, and the research convention I was told about before.

All of which will be held on different continents.

The Arcane Crown will be held within the Empire of Maltar. The Grand Tower Auction will be held within the Melcians. And the Arcane Research Convention will be held within the Voltanian Republic. Each of which will be near or inside of a Magic Tower.

It’s a rather balanced situation.

The Empire of Maltar is a more militaristic nation, with the greatest military on the planet, and a large focus on combat strength. Not just amongst magicians, but amongst mortal warriors as well.

Because there are a lot of products in the empire that are made strictly to magically enhance the physical strength of a non-magician. Turning them into what they refer to as Warriors.

That said, it only works on non-magicians. Since the magically created chemicals conflict with the mana inside of a magician’s body.

Meanwhile the Melcians are a much more mercantile nation. One filled with merchants.

It’s also the most corrupt of the three nations of the Alliance, even if they put on a kind exterior.

Lastly, the Voltanian Republic tends to be more balanced, with a lot of researchers but not a complete focus on research.

So the three events are split between the three nations of the Alliance in a way that fits their nations’ focuses. And with them being near or inside of Magic Towers, it balances everything out. Giving each of the top powers a slice of the pie.

Either way, I’m rather interested in all of these three events.

With that in mind, I go ahead and send word to them all about my attendance.

Then I begin to look into everything I’ve missed during my time in seclusion.
