Outside of the Aqua Galaxy
News quickly spreads throughout the universe about the latest development within the Aqua Galaxy. A galaxy that has gathered a significant amount of attention ever since the existence of a second Void Crowne became public. And now the mentors of the new generation spread word about the results of the newly opened Aqua Galaxy-Wide Leaderboard.
Nations backing those within the top ten of the leaderboards begin to feel pride at their mentees achievements. Meanwhile those whose mentees didn’t do as well as they’d hoped feel disappointed. And, thanks to the official entry of the new galaxy into the Multiversal Wars, numerous mentors begin to discuss their factions’ political standings to their mentees. Making certain that their mentees do not directly engage in open and unprovoked conflict with their factions’ allies.
However, regardless of everyone’s actions, extremely few people are surprised by the First Ranked user on the new galaxy’s leaderboards.
Because the First Ranked user is a Unique Lifeform. Just like the Void Crowne before him.
Just like the Supreme Empress of the Void Throne.
If anything, most factions across the universe begin to feel pity for the cluster at war with the Void Crowne’s own cluster.
To make matters worse, unlike the first Void Crowne who had to learn everything on her own, the new Void Crowne is being mentored by the first Void Crowne. Significantly speeding up his growth.
This alone spreads fear throughout the universe, along with relief that the denizens of the void have always been a neutral faction. One that wouldn’t participate in any wars at all if not for the System’s requirements.
However, a few factions alone openly express their dissatisfaction with the situation. With one faction standing paramount above the others.
The Ancient Zelbar Swarm of the First Galaxy.
It doesn’t take long before the swarm publicly announces their decision to eliminate the new Void Crowne within the new galaxy. But no one takes them seriously due to the heavy restrictions on any type of conflict between newly initialized galaxies and older galaxies. Restrictions that are so heavy that usually no conflict can possibly arise for hundreds or even thousands of years.
And by then, the new Void Crowne will be strong enough to defend himself. Even without the aid of the first Void Crowne.
Meanwhile, inside of a grand chamber located on the Prime planet known as the middle-ground of the universe, five beings sit on various thrones around a grand table. With hundreds of subordinates each located outside of the hall.
Angels, demons, undead, dryads, and voidlings. All in one place.
“Will you be bringing your kin to the Necropolis?” Alaric asks with his arms crossed. Speaking about the special City Labyrinth belonging to the Ruler of the Dead that opens to the public once every new galaxy initialization and has numerous special benefits from Alaric’s own System City within it.
Seraphyne glances at him as she answers, “If he wishes it.”
“Of course he’ll wish it! Who wouldn’t want to get stronger!” Valthraxus declares with a laugh before grabbing a glass of wine on the table and chugging it down. Only for a demon standing behind him to immediately refill the glass in his hand. “Oooohh I cannot wait to meet this new Void Crowne! Finally! Another friend!”
Valthraxus genuinely only considers those who are Unique Lifeforms to be on the same level as him and able to be his friends. And he was not expecting to be able to have a new friend anytime soon. Because, even amongst the Unique Lifeforms that have been born after the first galaxy’s initialization, not a single one of them has had even half of the power of the initial five Unique Lifeforms seated around the table with him.
But a new Void Crowne is different.
A new Void Crowne is just the same as the others around him. He can easily become his friend.
“Just remember the child is still young,” the World Tree states through her avatar. “Please maintain yourself.”
“Of course, of course!” Valthraxus says with another laugh. Only to grimace when Arciel states, “It would likely be best for you to stay far away lest you corrupt Seraphyne’s precious new kin.”
If there’s one exception to Valthraxus’ rule, it’s the Heavenly God.
Status or no status, power or no power, similar or not in uniqueness and kind, the Demon King will never see eye to eye with the Heavenly God.
“You shouldn’t be near him lest your snark and hypocrisy wear off on the boy,” Valthraxus says with a raised brow before chugging more wine. Then he leans back while waving his hand, making several screens appear in front of them with footage of the boy’s first Assault on it. “The boy’s lucky to receive the blight for his first boss monster. Makes me think he’s the polar opposite of Sera in that area.” The Demon King snickers at an old memory. “Remember the time Sera opened her first Unique Loot Box and got nothing but a Unique Title that was useless to her?”
Seraphyne’s eyes narrow ever so slightly at the memory.
“Enough!” Arciel declares. “We didn’t come here today to listen to you blather on, Valthraxus Blood Imperium.”
“Right, what did we come here for again?” Valthraxus asks while tapping his chin with his finger from the hand not holding the wine. Of course, he didn’t actually forget, but he can’t help but revel in the sight of the Heavenly God gritting his teeth in irritation at his words and actions. “Ah, that was it! We’re here to discuss how many delegates and merchants we’ll be sending to the new galaxy! Yes, that’s it!”
“Then let us begin,” Seraphyne states, interrupting their bickering since she knows they’ll be here all day if she doesn’t.
Thus beginning the true purpose of the meeting between the five Rulers.
