All Across the Alliance

While sitting inside of her office, a woman with mildly glowing golden hair and eyes named Ray Felder feels intrigued. All because of the news displayed on her terminal screen.

News about the entry of the number one most prevalent Official Pioneer of the current times into the next level five hundred to nine hundred ninety-nine Pioneer Game. The very game that Ray is going to be entering.

Ray herself has been an Official Pioneer for a few years and is getting close to exiting this level range to enter the next range. So she was planning on making this her very last Pioneer Game in this level range.

There aren’t many Official Pioneers close to breaking into the next level range like her who were planning on participating in this game either, and she was beginning to worry that there wouldn’t be much of any competition in the game.

But now? Now she doesn’t have to worry about that.

She can already see numerous news articles going around about different Official Pioneers who weren’t planning on competing in this game changing their minds to compete.

This will be fun.

Jacob Scottsfield laughs out loud as he charges through a pack of wyverns with a news article speaking out loud to him through text to voice.

“Aqua Azuranth has now been confirmed to have entered the next Level Five Hundred Pioneer Game! Ever since this news was released, numerous Official Pioneers who have either retired, or weren’t planning to participate, have now also signed up for this Pioneer Game! This makes this the most anticipated Official Pioneer Game of this entire year!” the terminal speaks, reading the article out loud for him.

“Now things just got interesting!!” Jacob exclaims while firing off waves of flames to eradicate the wyverns with ease.

Jacob himself is one of the Official Pioneers who wasn’t planning on participating in the game. All because he has been focusing on leveling up past this level range and was planning on participating in a higher level game as his next game once his level makes it to a thousand.

But now?

Now things are different.

Now he really wants to compete in this game.

Let’s see what is stronger! Blazing flames, or cool and refreshing water!

Jacob laughs in glee while sending a message for people to come and pick up the wyverns he just killed. Then he proceeds to move along to hunt his next prey. Because his new goal is to level up to level nine hundred and ninety nine before the game.

Then he can participate right beneath the level cap for the game.

That might be his only way to face and defeat the Bloodliner Pioneer. After all, he’s not stupid enough to challenge a Bloodliner without a significant lead in levels.

Without hesitation, Jacob jumps off and runs into the distance to hunt more prey.

One after another, Official Pioneers across the Alliance who were nearing the level cap of the first games begin to sign up. Meanwhile Rhett finds himself smirking in amusement.

He knows the reason Aqua is interested in the Pioneer Games. And he agrees that she should test her combat abilities outside of the water and against other people.

The only humanoid opponent she has faced so far outside of humanoid monsters is the Bloodliner on Oceana that the Bloodline Researchers have still been pestering Rhett about Aqua killing a newly discovered Bloodliner to this day. Researchers he is completely ignoring due to how little they actually matter.

At most he asked Aqua about it, and she said they can study Vir all they want during her broadcasts.

Rhett leans back in his chair with his arms crossed at that thought. But he soon puts the researchers out of his mind again as he refocuses on Aqua’s purpose in competing in the games.

The games will help her a lot with adjusting to fighting outside of the ocean. And he’s not the only one pleased with this, as Aqua’s parents fully support her participating in the Official Pioneer Games as well.

And if she wins the games, she can also help her new planet of Oceana at the same time.

The only question now is whether she can win while outside of the water and facing numerous Official Pioneers that are over a hundred or even almost two hundred levels above her.
