Matt and Chris swore they were done with Dr. K. After three full episodes exploring his blend of Twitch therapy, Ayurvedic wisdom, and guru-flavoured self-help, they were out. Finished. Enlightened enough.

But like all good spiritual journeys, there’s always a relapse.

Yes, they’re back with Dr. K, everyone’s favourite enlightened Twitch non-therapy therapist, now emerging from a self-declared midlife crisis with some powerful new revelations. Chief among them: while enlightenment may not technically be for sale, you can certainly pay to “level up your propensity for it.”

After years of humble-bragging about undercharging for his mental health guides, Dr. K has boldly pivoted to defending high-priced spiritual initiations. If you thought enlightenment involved effort, introspection, and maybe a bit of humility, think again—it turns out you can outsource your spiritual growth to a guru, who will do the grinding for you. Great news for Elon Musk.

3 episodes in one day. Is this a makeshift manifesto before the two of you do something that we will all get questioned over by the police for "funding" your "heterodox political activities"?

The spiritual materialistic mantra is such a turn off. I'm not into spiritualism, but the idea of using spiritualism to gain material wealth makes me feel bad for those who are into spiritualism.

I realise I might have been spiritually coasting my entire life.

Dr K is one of the gurus that gets under my skin more than most.

Hardcore spirituality? Is it a step up from the soft core stuff I've tried? Probably not legal.

I don’t have the energy to bullshit at his level. But I do want to make a bit of extra cash from the gullibility of people with more money than sense. So, I’m going to be offering a service to anyone who feels they might be in eternal peril for their earthly misdemeanours. Modern Sin Eating (MSE) is an updated means of offloading your sins to a willing recipient (me) in return for a small fee. Medieval sin eaters would literally eat your sins with the meals you provided them. With MSE you don’t have to trouble yourself with such nonsense. A simple transfer into my Monzo account and i will devour your sins for you. And what of you commit a mortal sin after I have eaten your sins? Just send me another payment and I’ll happily make a dessert of whatever spiritual shenanigans have cast your soul in shadow. Enjoy life, safe in the knowledge that I will accept eternal damnation on your behalf. Sign up now and get your Sin Catalogue and see how easily you can procure eternal paradise for you and your loved ones. Purchase a Sin Eater Gift Card and spread the gift of eternal life to friends. (T&Cs apply. Excessive sinning can have side effects. Please read the label and consult a qualified religious advisor before committing)

Would waiting to release the audio until the video is ready be helpful? I bet a lot of people don't watch the video if they've listened to the audio already. But I would watch the video instead if it were available. And us watching the videos might signal YouTube to recommend them to more people. Idk I'm sure they've thought of this.

I am SO glad you KEEP THIS GUY ON YOUR RADAR!!!

Something about Dr K’s presentation that is absolutely insufferable. He’s condescending, tech bro, smarmy, and seems like he announces his ulterior motives just in the way he talks but people still come to him? It’s like he’s taking instructions from a spiritual AI designed by tech bros who just happen to be into alternative medicine.
