In this bonus episode, Chris and Matt complete their forensic/esoteric/scientific assessment of the charming Stefan Molyneux, consigning him sadly to the eternal archives of the Gurometer.

Did you consider an emotional manipulative axis? Or is that too close to PD inventories?

Lord Brannigan-7

I can just imagine the Gurometer cruising past 'WARNING', onto 'DANGER', a skippety hop over 'ABSOLUTE MAX' and the needle bouncing off 'ARE YOU NUTS?'. Chris and Matt both sweating and exhausted, like a scene from Das Boot... But then I thought that'd be a bit much and glossing over the fact he's a nasty dangerous little grifting turd.

I see. So it’s not going to be a tranquil Saturday after all. Strap in, back to hell it is 🫡

Linda Sears

The positive news is we don’t have to hear him talk!

Roland Weber

Short and painless.. Thanks!

Amy S

You sailed through that one!

I used to listen to this guy in high school. I remember asking my mom if she’d support the government murdering me if I didn’t pay taxes, and she laughed. His hour-long episode on how the Netflix show “Stranger Things” was an allegory for illegal immigration was pretty fun. I’m glad you guys got to hear what I used to subject myself to.

I would rather be in the same room with Jordan Peterson than this guy. He’s dangerous and that ought to count for something.

…if the gurometer is capable of self harm, this will be the one…

Martin 🇧🇻

Not gonna lie - I had to skip the latter part of part 1 and part 2 and jump right to the gurometer. Actually listening to Molyneaux gives me the creeps! And I even voluntarily listened to him way back in the day, when I was interested in armchair philsophy. But hearing his culty behaviour is mentally exhausting to me

Linda Sears

It was quite therapeutic to hear old Molyneux go through the gurometer. May this be the nail through his vampire heart.

The guru nightsky feels like an apt metaphor. I imagine Chris the hermit living high up in the mountains, tucked inside his observatory, tracking the movement of various celestial bodies every so often something spectacularly wayward hurtles out of deep space, and he invites us over to observe it from a safe distance, sharing cautionary tales about what would happen if our paths ever intersected with them and just like that it's gone, tumbling back into the darkness and leaving behind only a trail of bitter dust. Within a day or two, it's fully out of our system ☄️

Max

Also, Peterson's spectacular 100% score always makes me smile ear to ear!

Molyneux pt 2 is the first dtg episode I didn't finish. Too painful to listen to. What a horrible human being...

What's That Noise?

I love how you've never settled on a definitive pronunciation of the name "Weinstein"

What's That Noise?

I found the Rocky Horror show bit interestinng because Stefan immediately tried to distance himself from it saying "It's a weird movie, man. I never really got it," even though he knows it word for word. It seems like a kind of no-homo moment, as if he's aware of the homophobic strain that runs through his audience and knows he's on thin ice, but he just can't help himself!

Charisma: interesting. I find Molyneux repellant in the extreme. I would rather eat a still warm turd than shake hands with this cum spackled shit weasel. But charisma? Yeah, he’s got it. Because charisma is about the depth of devotion, not the breadth. Despite the fact that (thankfully) most people see him clearly as just odorous pus seeping from boils on our collective intellect. God I hate this c***. Thanks guys. This has been a soul deep cleansing. Now I just need to wash the crap off me it dragged out.

Consensus achieved! A usually generous Matt sees the light of Chris’s harsh scoring with Molineaux. Merry winter holidays to everyone!

Matt Dear

I now only pronounce it "goro-meeeter", in the style of the cult season song

confused: Just finished SM pt2 and would love to see the diagram of all the gurometer scores that was mentioned towards the end. Where do I look? Is it hiding in plain sight? Is it me?

Rasterisk

I have never wanted a right to reply less. 🫣
