Dope

Joe Duncan

We eating good, I love you guys reaction

Limini

I just can't get used to the op :/

Vextipher

It's interesting on rewatch to see Spinner think highly of Dabi's position in life. "[Dabi] has everything, a reason to live, a purpose, power. All the things I lack in life." When Dabi literally has nothing left, living to die, and the power he has is burning away his flesh and what's left of his future.

Anthony Jaimes

Interesting, when this episode aired bakugo's reaction to shoto winning was him calling shoto "icy hot" but here he says his actual name todoroki

Anthony Flenniken

All for one's spent his entire long life tilting heroes with annoying monologues, I'd hope he's good at it.

Carco11

So Aesops bat is a fairytale where the birds and the beasts are at war with each other, during the war the bats switched sides to whoever had the upper hand at the moment. When the war was over the birds and the beasts all agreed that the bats deceitful behavior couldnt be allowed and so they drove them out to live in caves in solitude. So Kunieda calling Aoyama this is essentially implying that no matter which side wins hes going to be ostracized

Pugz

I think AFO was planning on turning spinner into Tomura’s version of Gigantomachi. His most loyal follower.

L.C.

Does she have a medical condition that makes her memory worse? I have seen where she has forgotten multiple things throughout the series. I know everyone has differences in how well they can memorize things but you guys watching the series nonstop within around a year time frame if I am correct she has forgotten quite a few things. Glad you are there to recognize and remember for her.

L.C.

Genuine question btw. Not trying to call her out or make fun of it. Just wanted to know since she has trouble remembering so much

Letts React

No it’s not a medical condition there are just like 5 shows we watch at once so details can get lost in the shuffle 👍🏻

Renn.88

Nah they're just watching 5 different shows all at once day after day. It's not like us where we watched 1 episode a week of a few shows with time to let it simmer in our brains. They're watching multiple shonen all back to back every day. Things get jumbled in your head and you'll inevitably forget something. Really it's more than 5 since you gotta count all the shows they've finished since they started MHA over a year ago

Razer Sharp

You guys should totally react to Dragon Ball !!

HBelmont67

Okay, now you're just being straight up rude. You really need to think about how you word your comments, or just keep them to yourself.

James S

The fact that Montana was trying to hold back a laugh at what All for One said at 20:00 sent me 🤭😂

HBelmont67

I really hope Jiro's ear jacks grow back. 🙏 Either that, or maybe her mom will give one of her's as a transplant.

HBelmont67

Gotta love Tokoyami struggling to not break the bro code this episode. 🤣 Even more since this was Armin and Mikasa. 🤣🤣

HBelmont67

If Kenny thought Shigiraki's evolution was an a**pull, I can't wait to see what he thinks of Dabi . . .

HBelmont67

So was that Trina still voicing Jiro this episode? Cause something sounds off about her voice here?

Limini

that is so gruesome. Body parts aren't interchangeable like that. like why would she? why would jiro even want that? imagine Mirko asking her mom for all of her limbs or endeavor asking natsuo for an arm, aizawa asking his parents for an eye etc Like "Lemme just amputate myself for you" should not be the first or second thought

Limini

Also Kenny watched it multiple times, on his own and while editing, soof course he is going to remember stuff better. You yourself probably watched it more than once, read the manga or interacted with fan stuff. You can't compare your knowledge with someone who is watching for the first time. Besides there are thematically things that interests us more and stick to our memory more. Like I myself didn't remember that the on guy with the three spikes from the ep where deku came back was also the guy from the first ep but I remember everything that concerns the todoroki drama. I don't even know all of class a's an B's names but can still follow along.

Limini

Do you think that is even possible? Like from a world building standpoint how do transplants work? in the real work it's already so complicated to find a donor even within family, blood type, etc. Like imagine having to find tokoyami a beak transplant. If ojiro would donate his tail, would it still work if the original hadn't had a tail? If endeavor would donate his right hand to David would that effect his quirk? like his right hand would no longer be able to do blue flames or something? I'm theorizing with traditional surgery in mind so no AFO quirk or something similar involved. Like the slime guy needed a liver transplant or gang orca, a normal liver wouldn't work right? Or like sugar man's stomach must be special if he's metabolizing sugar into power, if he got a transplant would he need a special stomach? would a regular stomach make him malnutritious bc his body is so used to the digestive system working differently?

Limini

dabi not David lol

Limini

or rather his second gigantimachia since he's planning on merging with shiggy

HBelmont67

I think you're taking what I said way too seriously

HBelmont67

AFO telling Endeavor he took Toya was SO underhanded; I COMPLETELY understand Endeavor losing it there. I was like, "You motherf . . ." 😡😡😡

HBelmont67

Kenny's right. Jiro being the counter to AFO's Radio Wave Quirk was GENIUS. 🔊

Mekar

I love how Hawks is so mindlessly confident in himself that AFO's mental warfare has zero effect on him. He's like the only person that doesn't work against at all.

Limini

Yeah I'm taking this way too far 😅 but I love mha's worldbuilding and think this is such an interesting aspect on how bodies work. Like doctors must be insane in that universe. Imagine being in charge of anesthetic during an emergency operation and you have to calculate how much to give to gang orca and then mineta next. The wait list for organ donors would take forever bc organs are so specialized and the pressure to donate to family and especially heroes must be insane. Healthcare would be sooo behind for heteromorphs. You mentioning transplants kicked me into a tangent. Sorry for rambling, I was just getting it out.

Mekar

If Aoyama was an Italian character this joke would hit harder.

Pugz

Well yes, a replacement/second till he could reclaim Gigantomachia from his current prison.

Juan Solo

I heard Trina wasn't available to record at the time.

HBelmont67

So who was it? And that was still her for the rest of the season, right?

James Carl Carter III

If I'm not mistaken using people's first name in their culture means you have a very personal relationship with them rather than a general one

Juan Solo

I think its whoever does her singing voice, but I could be wrong.

Saiyasha

"Aesops Bat" Refers to a fable in which the birds, the beats and the bats are fighing against each other. The Birds and the beats are warring it out, but the bats tend to switch side to fight on whichever looks like the winning one. So, essentially, the villain is calling Aoyama a traitourous backstabber who'll hang is flag whichever way the wind blows.

HyperColt14 B42

That yellow laser beam that AFO used, is called Impure Beam one of AFO most strongest attack (i think he mentioned it in this episode cant fully remember

L.C.

I was asking a genuine question. Its not that many shows compared to other reactors. I have been watching them for a while now and she sometimes forgets some things. Nothing wrong with it.

L.C.

Straight up rude? When they have visual & auditory problems that makes them unable to watch subtitles I want to know if she has a condition that impacts her short term memory shows as well. Asking a question is not being rude. Making fun of it would be rude. I am in the medical field. I ask questions. You are making a genuine question out to be rude. Nothing is wrong with possible short term memory loss or any kind of complication that someone has. If she doesn't have any health complications and she just genuinely forgets sometimes then that is fine. I noticed over time that she forgets or has trouble processing series.

L.C.

Replying to the replies I am getting for this comment so I have noticed it over time and it isn't just me trying to be rude but I know it is fairly consistent with how she forgets or misremembers things. People can naturally forget things but I wanted to just ask if she has some trouble processing information since they have also said they have visual and auditory problems or if she has some trouble with short term memory. Im not trying to target her for it or make a big deal about it. Just was wondering about it.

Kleed44

Montana and Kenny's smiles while AFO was smack talking Endeavor were priceless

HBelmont67

Cause he's NOT WRONG. 😅 But seeing Endeavor agree with him and acknowledge it just makes it even more satisfying.

Kleed44

Exactly it was another example of cool, nuanced story-telling!

HBelmont67

Least it changed next episode

SageJ

The amount of body horror in this show really doesn’t get talked about enough.

Natsuo Todoroki

All for One’s lines here are like, the definition of “He’s out of line, but he’s right.” I guess that’s how All for One manages to get people, he uses the truth to get in their heads.

Kleed44

great way to put it :)
