True, My hero is hesitant to kill off heroes like bakugo, but what saves it I think it's Horikoshi senseis brilliant writing. WHY is the potential death impactful, under WHAT circumstances did it play out, and if there is a chance at saving that life, it can't be written frivolously, it HAS to be impactful, and have meaning to be pulled off successfully

I also really like the hand motifs in MHA like with Shigaraki and with "reaching out a hand" stuff - Horikoshi has said he thinks hands are the most expressive part of the body which I think is so interesting

It's amazing that Horikoshi fully expected everyone to hate bakugo, (& fair, some do) but he's just so well written. He just won 1st place in the world best Hero poll, and went on to win the runoff of the top three as well so he will officially be getting a bronze statue made of him in 2025 based on a brand new sketch Horikoshi will draw! I believe it was Bakugo at #1, deku at #2 and Shoto at number 3. So proud of the goat for taking the top spot TWICE 💥

Three things that stood out to me. First, Mirko is a badass and needs to be respected as such. Second, Edgeshot is incredible for likely willingly giving up his life to save Bakugo, in a matter I think Stain himself would find honor in. And thirdly, AFO's gambit. It is not a question of beating him now, rather it is a question of how long can the heroes in Gunga stall for time? You have to keep in mind as well, he's lived for well over a 100 years at this point, and he still can steal quirks as shown in this episode. And in other news, Dabi is far from done and Izuku is about to go Beast Mode once he sees Bakugo.

Edgeshot sacrificing himself hit harder than i thought. Didn't care much for him since we didn't get to know him much but the whole bit about the hero's saving the future and seeing him put all of him into saving bakugo aka his hope, the future was monumental.

In General the symbolism is peak here. Shiggy going back to comforting himself with hands mimicking his old costume. Being surrounded by his family and just wanting someone to take his hand and that being his defensive mode, when his offensive mode is so desperately wanting to reach out his hand to someone and touch them. Peakkkk As well as edge shot becoming bakugos heart. The old heroes becoming the heart and courage of the new generation. Loved the compasrision with all might

One of my favorite things about this episode is the feeling of relief I felt when Deku showed up here was the same feeling I felt when All Might showed up to the USJ in season 1. 😭 MHA just does that so well

Remember one of the character developing plot lines of Deku is the fact that he lets his emotions get to him too much and take over. So we will have to see how much progression Deku has made with that kind of flaw he specifically has when in battle.

i honestly feel when ever shigiraki directly decayed someone he actually absorbed parts of them consuming and replenishing himself.. it kind of examples why he was able to slowly heal from those gun shot wounds he got from snipe and the stab wounds from stain and his being almost super human at points even with just 1 quirk.. it was all decay

YESSS finally someone else who felt the same way intuitively while watching. Just the immense relief and the feeling of “we are saved!” perfectly parallels All Might showing up in the USJ arc. Never thought I’d feel that way about Deku so it just shows how far he’s come and that he really IS the new symbol of peace now. I’m so proud of him 🥹

This outro is also many peoples favorite, and my personal favorite along with the 6.1 outro cuz Slow Motion just slaps (and they also did special outros with it too)

13:00 It's funny that Kenny thought Bakogo would have been completely dead based on his injury if he was in JJK when Gojo literally revived himself after he was stabbed both on his torso (multiple times) and his HEAD. Also, keep in mind that there have been actual records of humans reviving in real life after their hearts have stopped beating for minutes. One famous example is from the actor Bob Odenkirk. Feel free to search it up.

I am 50/50 on this whole revive, however, I feel that if ANYONE wasn’t to die it should be bakugo and ochaco. Killing them off would be bad for the verse, even deku would be more realistic. And to those saying this was random, it’s not. Just that overtime edgeshot is forgettable, but that’s the point bc now his role was always so significant.

The difference is what people decide to focus on during those scenarios because for Montana she's more looking and paying attention to the conversations and maybe for Kenny it can be slightly interesting to see what happens during those times but then may seem that's all that happens but once it's not in a surgical spot its different but there are a lot of times they don't show everything they do in the surgery like somewhat detailed but not specifically detailed surgerys. But I get both sides I but I just watch whatever anyone else watches so my input isn't as much to go from.
