Personally I’d love to see dragon prince I think it would be right up your alley if you want a nice show if your looking for something with more nitty gritty stuff castlevania is also up there blue samurai is good but it’s got a lot of explicit scenes so it would be hard to sensor that for YouTube everytime

X Men 97 was soo good! It is short and sweet. It can be watched without seeing the older series but, if you have seen them then it also is a good continuation. I think it's perfect before settling into a longer series.

You're going to finish around the time that The Mighty Nein (Critical Role's second campaign) is due to release. I say go there. Otherwise, Blue Eye Samurai was tremendous. Helluva Boss is completely crazy in a good way. I really enjoyed The Dragon Prince, but other reactors say it doesn't do well on YouTube.

Little bit older but I’d recommend Samurai Jack. It’s an amazing art style and a bit unconventional in not being afraid to have scenes with no dialogue. It has plenty of mature and interesting themes that would be fantastic for your discussion style

Yeah Mighty Nein comes out Nov 19, they would release the last ep of VM season 3 on Nov 24th. It's just too perfect of a timeline to not take advantage of it.

Castlevania would be #1 for a semi longer show, but Blue Eye Samurai and X-Men 97 are both stellar options AND short. I think Mighty Nein *after* the soon to be released Vox Machina season 4 would be better.

Castlevania, and it's sequel Nocturne, are GREAT watches, full of incredible animation, deeply nuanced and entertaining characters, and rich storytelling for you two to devour. The first series is also considered by many to be arguably the greatest video game adaptation of all time. 🏰 🦇

I do hope you guys would finish Castlevania and then go into Castlevania Nocturne. Blue eye Samurai is a really good one. Blood of Zeus is another good one. X-Men and Wolverine and blade have an anime which not too many people know about. Twilight of the Gods was so good. I honestly hope they do a season 2 of that soon. The dragon Prince is fun and it's made by the creators of avatar The Last Airbender. Some of the tie-ins is cute and for those of us who are fans of Avatar we would notice them right away. If you know you know. Voltron the legendary Defender was also written by some of the writers from Avatar if I'm not mistaken and you can tell in the dialogue from the way the main characters and cast interact with each other. It is largely enjoyable and worth the watch. All seven seasons. There are still a bunch of DC animated movies you guys should totally check out. Green Lantern Emerald Knights is a movie with a bunch of short stories about the adventures of a bunch of the different lanterns in the DC Universe which is cool. Batman Gotham by Gaslight is steampunk Batman going up against Jack the Ripper enough said. Batman soul of the dragon is quite frankly a Bruce Lee movie with Batman in it. It is corny in all the right ways. Batman year One. Justice League crisis on Two Earths where they go up against alternate versions of themselves. Justice League Doom if you guys haven't seen that one. That's Batman's contingency plans in action. Justice League the New Frontier. Justice League versus the Fatal 5. Batman and Superman Public Enemies followed by Batman and Superman apocalypse. Superman Red Son. So so many. And if you made it this far down then thank you for your patience and your time and I hope these make the list

Those "not good" things you heard about Nocturne were probably just people complaining that it wasn't as good as it's predecessor, just like with Korra and Avatar. Screw that crap. Nocturne is AMAZING, and while not as phenomenal as Castlevania all the time, there are a couple ways it beats it.

Okay I have to amend the part about continuing to watch DC movies because you guys have never watched any of the DC movies but you should. For your movie category. They're fun they add to the lore they explore a lot of characters you don't usually see in the live action versions they explore a lot of the storylines that you would never see in the live-action versions. Definitely Helluva Boss/Hazbin Hotel! Helluva Boss is now on Amazon Prime (with a new pilot episode!) and then there's Hazbin Hotel season 2 coming in October/November. There's about 20 episodes total for season 1 and 2 of helluva boss combined (and there's about 8 ish shorts I think. The shorts are VERY fun and worth it, but are short enough that you could probably do one entire "Shorts Episode" in the middle of Season 2 after the Full Moon episode. Some of the episodes of Helluva boss are quite short (only 15 minutes) so if you double up on episodes, you might be able to finish Helluva Boss right as Hazbin Hotel season 2 comes out!

I’d definitely have to go with Steven Universe. Great story, great character writing, a compelling world and lore behind it, the soundtrack being incredible, and the surprisingly relevant and mature messaging of the show. Definitely an amazing series to experience, and can’t recommend it enough.

Mighty Nein, Blue Eye Samurai and X Men 97 are really short, so watching them first makes sense to me, bc you can then watch the other ones afterwards and it's not that long of a wait between new shows. I obviously prefer Mighty Nein and it comes out right when Vox Machina finishes so it's just perfect timing, but I would not be mad with any of the choices here either, I like them all. But yeah a short and then a long show alternating seems good so everyone gets something they like.

X Men 97 is a great watch and very short. The season season comes next year I believe so you’d be caught up and can due reactions as it comes out If you’re looking for something more long running: Adventure Time, Steven Universe are great watches but they have a lot episodes so it’s a bit of a commitment. Infinity Train is also a good show with only 4 seasons and not a lot episodes

I'm still voting for Mighty Nein to be the pick but quick question - Do Chinese shows count as anime? Because Lord of (the) Mysteries and To Be Hero X have both been insanely good and have stellar English dubs, so I highly recommend both of those too.

Also (I know you specifically didn’t ask for anime since there is already plenty of anime on your plate) put please consider Claymore for the near distant future. It’s short and only has 26 episodes and it’s really fun, lots of world building like AOT and MHA. Super overlooked anime so that’s why I’ve been pushing it so much. On that note, Claymore is a series where the anime got canceled years ago and made up its own ending, but the manga has been finished over ten years ago. So if you’re interested in reacting to the series as a whole, here is what I recommend: Watch the anime to episode 24 (ignore the last 3 because they aren’t canon) and then read the rest of the manga starting at 55. There are online comics of the Claymore manga you can look up, or if you need me to provide one I’d be happy to do so. It can be your first manga reaction.

Another candidate you could watch is Devil May Cry on Netflix. The first season is 8 episodes long, so you would be able to get through it quickly and onto another show, plus season 2 comes out some time next year. And it's by the same guys behind Castlevania as well.

I think it has more to do with the fact that people wanted the series to continue with a comedic tone and more adventures. But I understand why the series isn't to everyone's taste. I think it would be nice if they could give it a chance and form their own opinion of the series from there.

With Mighty Nein taking place ten years after the first campaign, I'm scared of the potential spoilers; but I have faith theyre gonna do their best not to reveal anything spoilery till VM finishes. Have you guys seen Adventure Time or Regular Show, both seem as if they're just gonna be fun cartoons but they writers knew what they were doing. So many feels when least expected

That's what I was thinking but with how different the last season was for VM with it introducing characters we found out about in Exandria Unlimited, I was worried. I also was thinking that introducing those characters this season was a way to promote possible one off animated movies. Either way Im excited for what's to come from the CR universe

Castlevania without a doubt. Though I understand that other shows are out there(Amphib rwby mighty nein etc.) castlevania seems to most appropriate to watch through first, besides mighty nein just came out and I don't think rwby, hilda, steven uni, and amphib should take over for the slot as they are teen shows. Though I do agree those would be great replacements after they finish watching the other series.
