Season 2 of Vinland Saga is basically a perfect season of anime imo, especially when contextualized with season 1. I absolutely love everything about season 2, and I think it has some of THE best character arcs and character moments in anime and TV that I've seen. It was an absolute joy to rewatch this season along with your channel on here, so thank you for everything you guys do! I'm thrilled that you all loved Farmland Saga as much as you did, and man that finale always hits super hard. The scene with Thorfinn and his mother also had me absolutely in shambles, extremely well done, and her being supportive of his dream for Vinland is just *chefs kiss* because it is exactly what Thors would want too. PEAK Arc, PEAK anime, PEAKLAND SAGA.

This is mainly a homecoming for Thorfinn, but seeing Einar be welcomed into his family after losing his own at the beginning of the season is so sweet. 🥹

I think Askellad taught Thorfinn that violence is sometimes necessary to prevent further violence. I mean look at Askellads atrocities in the first season, all for the sake of imposing a more benevolent and loving king, saving countless lives.

Thorfinn took 100 blows and kept standing long enough to have a philosophical conversation with the King, and yet it only took ONE punch from his sister to knock him out. I said it at the beginning of the show, but if Ylva had been the one to seek revenge for Thors' death, Askeladd would've died MUCH earlier lol.

In the manga Ylva is the one who cuts Thorfinns hair and says she recognizes the shape of his head from when she gave him haircuts as a kid. Also, Thorfinn said he didn't want his beard shaved because it made him look like a kid but Ylva told him it made him unthreatening so he kept it. Super sweet scene I hope they animate for season 3!

The scene of Askladd, Thors, Helga and Leif getting ready to go on their own jorneys and cutting to Thorfinn starting his is actually anime only! I love it so much, all of the people in Thorfinns life who made him into the incredible man he is.

The last scenes was amazing, showing everyone's flashback as their journey to now where Thorfinn will begin his. Masterpiece of an anime and manga, so happy you guys watched it all the way to the end. Will miss it dearly

It may seem unrelated, but I'm really excited for them to jump back onto Demon Slayer after watching this to hear all the shared voice actors between the shows. Sure, they know that Thorfinn is Zenitsu and Thor's is Muzan, but that's BARELY scratching the surface. (Canute is Muichiro, BTW)

In the manga there’s basically 4 arcs War arc Slave arc Expedition arc Vinland arc The 3rd and 4th arc are twice as long as the first two so I’m guessing they’d have to make season 3 the expedition arc and season 4 should be a 2 part kinda like AOT for the Vinland arc. The manga has been going on since 2005 and the last chapter came out a month or so ago.

Let’s keep in mind how cool the reveal of Thorfin shaved and got a hair cut but not just that, you see his growth from being malnourished as a slave why he looked so skinny in the face, he was eating bread left overs before old master stared feeding him and einar. My bois looking good now.
