Black clover is sooo mha coded. The characters are hilarious and endearing, the power system is exciting and gradually gets more complex, AND they are releasing the next part later this year!!! You’d finish it right in time to watch the new season. (P.S. you’ll also hear some familiar mha favorite voice actors in some pretty badass roles!)

Because people watched it when they were kids (me included) so now they are nostalgic for it despite it having horrible issues, the big 3 aren't big because they are good they are big because back there there was a lot less seasonal anime, and instead of seasons they just released filler in between

Season two has a whole plot line about the two main female characters, that is fully separate from the main sport. And the difference is it's a sports anime about a bunch of guys there's not expectation for it, as there is when you have a main trio that's actually a duo. And there's a LOT of anime with great female characters. I'm happy to give recs if you ask for a genre.

Honestly it's weird, because I feel like Naruto is very much coasting off of nostalgia. I only started it like 4 years ago, and the writing and worldbuilding literally hurt my soul and I had to give it up...it's SO bad compared to most of the modern anime, I feel like Naruto is like the valley between two big quality jumps in anime. On one hand you have older shows like Cowboy Bebop which are stellar, and on the other hand you have the current big hitters like Frieren, Dungeon Meshi, Apothecary Diaries, Dandadan and Naruto is just in-betwen the two groups and holds the title of big three only because it was released at the perfect time to have no real competition.

I appreciate Naruto, was my intro to anime before i knew the term. But yea it’s not something id want to sit through again. And then the not shippuden thing is kinda odd, and not because youre not finishing the whole story. Instead because itd be silly imo to think that after over a year of investment into the naruto franchise and it making up practically half of the content on the channel, that there wouldnt be an increase in vocal subscribers here specifically for said naruto content. Thus at the end of pre timeskip naruto there would likely be demand to continue leaving us with many years of naruto which again no thanks but to each their own. Mainly/clearly i just got trust issues that their sentiment towards not watching shippuden will alter. I dont think im a naruto hater, my pfp is Luffy, one piece is a fav and i would not want them to do one piece anime reactions any time soon either

Nah, classic would be Cowboy Bebop. Naruto is 2002, it's dated, but definitely not a classic.

Yeah they're not watching Shipuden, just regular Naruto is already over 200 episodes, there's just no way, it'd be like starting all of One Piece, it's just way too long even if you remove filler. Haikyuu is just 85 episodes comparatively, and that's already decently long all things considered. HxH was 148 episodes for comparison. Naruto would literally take forever.

It happens. I skipped Vinland Saga and Demon Slayer for example, they just don't mesh with me. Luckily with shorter shows there's more of a turnover so you don't have to wait too long. Which is another reason why I really do not want Naruto to win, it's WAY too bloody long.

The difference between 98 and 02 is negligible. If you want to argue quality that's its own thing but like to say Naruto isnt a classic is kinda bananas. Hokuto No Ken kinda sucks but like its impact is undeniable.

Naruto just makes the most sense! It’s one of the goats of anime and it’s the most similar to all the main shows they’ve had on the channel. Haikyu is a good show but it’s more of a side show. I’d rather you guys watch that after apothecary diaries or dandadan.

I just gave up knowing for a good while I won’t be able to watch them because I’m not a fan of the shows they are currently watching and us dr stone fans who had it Down to just it and Naruto got screwed over again it’s really frustrating.its saddening and I wish popularity didn’t win over every single time
