one of the best 'out of match' episodes. yachi is too adorable/relatable. I think the mom has good intentions. being a single mother is tough and she wants her kid to be tough like her. I'm inclined to give her a break

Yeah, for whatever reason, Yachi's dad doesn't appear to be in the picture. Parenting is hard enough, and her mom is running a company on top of raising a kid by herself.

Love the reaction I just wanna shout out the guy with yachi's mom idk if he's her assistant or partner or what but he was always speaking up for yachi and trying to help their relationship even tho it isn't necessarily his place to he clearly cared about the little girls well being and I think that's a cool thing.

Yup. Said it once and never brought it up again. Deku out here the main target of a war, the main hero who beat the main villain, got his arms blown off and nearly died like 2 dozen times in 1 year and bro couldn't hop on a flight to see his son

Yeah, I think the immediate response to Yachi’s mom is usually pretty negative, but once you have the full picture in the rest of the episode, I actually like her. She is just incredibly blunt 😅 but who knows? We also didn’t see the original poster Yachi was working on, maybe it sucked 😭 (I joke, I joke!)

See, people mentioned kage-nata (Which I don't see at all 🤣) but I almost felt i saw hina-yachi as a possibility as soon as hinata saved her from getting hit in the face by that ball last episode 🤷🏻🤣

Yeah that happens a handful of times actually. I've been watching a lot of these on a second monitor so I hear the "next episode" announcements a lot and a bunch are different between the written and spoken English translation. They're always close like this though so it's probably one of those weird quirks of translating

Yeah the whole "I wouldn't give that a second glance" line feels like it would be how she would treat an employee, but also she just has a pretty blunt personality. And more importantly she doesn't just say it and walk away, she comes in and is clearly guiding Yachi on how to improve. Considering this is all we see of her I'm willing to assume Yachi's mom reaches the "good enough" threshold.

That anime gets so much hate and I do not know why! I enjoyed the heck out of it! I would say its perfect for Halloween but I'm pretty sure we got some Invincible around the corner. I do not know that for a fact😅
