Mack: "and we're back..." OK, so Deke is alive and has been transported here by the monolith shard (which makes sense), Hale has a daughter called Ruby who's obsessed with Daisy, Piper's (somewhat unintentionally) betrayed the team, and Yo-Yo's lost her arms! AFAIK, Yo-Yo loses her arms at some point in the comics, so the writers are bringing that aspect to the show. There's also a hint towards her losing her arms in the flashbacks in 5x08 - whenever we see Yo-Yo, she's always wearing gloves rather than showing her hands. TBH, the way she loses them does annoy me a bit - given her position relative to Ruby I don't quite get the mechanics of how she loses both her arms but her torso is uninjured 🤷. The primary currency in the Lighthouse was tokens, handled by the metrics in everyone's wrists - we briefly saw some transactions in the exchange in 5x02 - though there was some direct bartering of items as well. That's why Deke immediately presented his wrist when asked to pay. May's "We have a small but active fanbase" is a direct reference from the writers about the show's actual fans whilst it was airing. The whole 'could be worse' sequence is pretty funny - especially as May ends it with "or Dancing" (with a bit of a sneer for good measure).

Yoyo reached both her arms out towards Mack (Her Future self tells her that) We have seen yoyo can get hit even though she has super speed. She was hit in 3x17 on the leg by a stray bullet. She was hit when she went to catch the bullets to save Mack in 3x22. Her being distracted by Mack being in trouble and Ruby's precision allowed her to time it right so she could catch her. I believe her blade being able to come back is what caught her by surprise.

We get a small thor Easter egg. Noah spotted him in New York city looking for Odin in Thor Ragnarok. Speaking of we are now in 2018. This episode is after winter break. I believe Black panther just premiered and the blade looks like the vibranium blades they had in that movie funny enough tho could be a coincidence.

The only "beer" they had in the future was in Deke's Framework program bar and he said he had NO idea what beer tastes like, so it was probably sweeter? I don't know, but I kinda wish that Daisy had had some so she could say what his beer tasted like. 😄

As soon as Yo-Yo was introduced on the show, people who'd read the comics were saying, "She doesn't have her robot arms?" So, when there was a focus on her, people were always guessing, "Is this when she loses her arms?" They were saying that for 2 seasons. 😆 I'd almost forgotten by the time we see her in the future with no arms. Then I was like "(*gasp*) It's happening!"
