Jasmine is my favorite villain in the Buffyverse or maybe anywhere. She's evil but she does offer some great benefits for surrendering to her that push her into more of an interesting area. She's not just totally there for destruction like most of the other evils.

Jasmine had to be in control of Cordy when she slept with Connor. Because she had to sleep with Connor. Something about needing to be born from the miracle baby of 2 vampires that shouldn't be able to happen is what allowed her to be conceived as well.

I'm on Buffy's side for season 7 against Angel's season 4. There was just too much that I didn't like. Of course the Cordy/Connor thing grossed me out. And while she made a good villain, I was never a Gina Torres fan, and I couldn't see myself falling for her spell (but that's because of my religious upbringing). There were some episodes that I enjoyed, but as a whole, not as good as Buffy season 7.

Jasmine had the right idea about having a peaceful world, but it seemed like just talk to me. She wanted people to be shiny, happy people, but she never gave advice on how people should treat each other. In the end, everything seemed to be about worshipping her.
