We again have a close vote, between 2 percentage points of each other! I hesitate to mess with the brutal voting turf war happening in the comments but I think it's time to do another vote with just our finalists.

Voting still closes June 30th!

Will Seamon

There's been so much Star Wars talk on the internet in the past month that I'm just exhausted

Bruce Climas

'Brutal voting turf war'??? If I'd known how 'bloody' voting for a topic was I would have opted out.

James Gregory

On the first part of the journey I was looking at all the life There were plants and birds and rocks and things There was sand and hills and rings The first thing I met was a fly with a buzz And the sky with no clouds The heat was hot and the ground was dry But the air was full of sound

Steve Ray

I thought we'd have until the 28th!

dipique

Man this vote isn't even close

Steve Ray

For June, the Animal Topics Coalition is still delighted to celebrate the amazing *cultural* victory of "Rating Every Porg." Starting in July, the Coalition will commence celebrating *electoral* victories, as well. And we offer our congratulations to the two hastily-tallied (but still excellent) winning topics!

Bill Holt

What's so starry about war anyway?

Steve Ray

Unless, of course / The horse, of course / Is the famous [REDACT-ED]

Steve Ray

#MeNeither, but our hostess' thoughts delight throughout, even if they're just an internal monologue about Ways to Miss the Bus, or Know Your Film Clapperboards.

Thomas Allen Wood

Agree, and I'd still watch every second! But if it's to be Star Wars, I'd rather Jenny portal over to the alternate universe where Lucas made his 'Fantastic Voyage' version of the latest trilogy-- the one called 'The Whills, the Midichlorians and Me', and review THAT movie!

Madi

Damn, I really need to know what 1999 Kylo would have been like, maybe one day.

Daniel Folk

Would subscribers have to sign up for Youtube plus to watch the show?

I went for the pitch. I already know what would happen in 1999 sequels. Luke, Han and Leia would be almost twenty years younger and move a lot quicker.

Bill Holt

And more intensely...

Steve Ray

He would have been played by Michael Sera, naturally.

Sean Kelly

We might not have witnessed Leia’s “corpse flight”! She might have learned that ‘move’ later in life. As a side note, how do you practice that? It’s kinda like skydiving... got to be 100%

Abel Cassius

To be fair, in The Empire Strikes Back, she stood in the exogorth (with its mouth open so straight up in space) with nothing but a breathing device. Back then she observed the mynocks and thought they looked really cool and wanted to vaccum fly too. The only difference in The Last Jedi was that she could hold her breath, which is hardly supernatural, and she force pushed herself in the same way regular jedi force jump high. So what the audience thought was ridiculously overpowered or amazing was in fact nothing your average jedi shmuck couldn't have done.

Sean Kelly

That is an interesting idea. Watch the original 3 with the same critical eye. I wonder if I would find similar flaws that annoy me.

Tom Bowling

In the episode of The Clone Wars, Rising Malevolence, Master Plo Koon braved the vacuum of space to fight off droids that were attacking his escape pod. He even explained that he could survive outside the pod for a short period of time.

Michael Puckett

@Jenny I do think we should do ranked choice voting next time!

Shaun Cheah

How would that be implemented, though?

Steve Ray

I think that would be a major effort and require a lot of cross-site jumping.
