Ho ho ho! I'm Santa from the North Poll and I have brought this lump of poll for your stockings.

As always, you may vote for as many options as you like*; the highest total number of votes wins.

*For mobile users, there's a bug on multiple-choice voting. The workaround is to vote for one option, force quit the app, then come back and vote for the other option(s). People have found it retains multiple votes when you do it this way

WAr

Someday MLP hot takes will win 🙏

B Hair

New vote let's goooo

Moira Laidlaw

Good pun Jenny. Really puts me in the holiday spirit

Trevor Atwood

Omg the seasonal decor idea has so much potential

puhtahtoe

I don't know what Jenny University means and at this point I'm almost too afraid to ask

Max

Jenny University you will always be famous

Henri

I am quite saddened to no longer see Hannibal up there. I still believe...!

boopmoops

All of these are saur good

Izzy Banks

Can someone explain what the AMV one means? That whole thing reads like gibberish to me

Clouds in the Sky

I just had to force quit 2 time so I can vote for 3 things, very weird app lol

Ivy Cass

AMV = anime music video I think

Calvin Maragnano

Merry Nichristmas to all and to all a good ramble

viruviruviru

those are taylor swift songs, the prompt is for her to storyboard anime music videos for the 3 (and I'm guessing the subject of the songs is interconnected since they're calling it a trilogy)

puhtahtoe

AMV means Anime Music Video. It's when people make music videos out of clips from anime but I think the term has evolved to also include fan music videos made with clips from other stuff like non-anime shows/movies or video games. Idk about the rest of it

viruviruviru

playthroughs/watchalongs hater nation let us unite against the avatar video game one

BatteryPoweredBricks

Today a girl in the drivethu window saw Jenny's face on my phone and was like "I love her videos!" 😁

Jaz Mei Luo

the part about 'this is me trying' refers to the one (1) public video that's on her second channel

Korey

Justice for top 5 and bottom 5 Christmas movies ✊

Cowboy Jaz Luo

what if patreon started a patreon to fund improving their god-awful app

Sarah G

Jenny made a music video using clips from Cars 3 to the Taylor Swift song “this is me trying” so august, betty, and cardigan are three more Taylor Swift songs for Jenny to plan silly music videos for

Jaz Mei Luo

I just spent 20 minutes trying to find where I had asked this question before too lol. In the March 2022 Ramble Poll comments, here is what Jenny responded with: I assume it's like those posts on Old Tumblr where people would be like "tumblr should be a school! the professors will be Doctor Who or something embarrassing and we'll take classes in shipping fanfic and how to crochet frogs" So that but for my interests

Matthew Holt

NO! "Jenny reacts to people finding abandoned animatronics" is gone! Disaster.... :-(

Javiera Scarratt

yeah i think this is the problem with that one, i had the same confusion - i think it's a fine idea but not self-explanatory enough to have the broad appeal necessary to win. i hope it does one day tho, just to reward that person's tenacity!

Eric MacMillan

I promise it will be back eventually

O

PONY TAKES IS BACKKKK PONY TAKES PLEASE

Mairéad

Have we missed our chance at Jenny talking about the strange malformed mass of frames that is Wish? 😭

David A Behlman

[On PC] It took me way too long to discover that you vote by clicking the text and not the check box. What an odd change. EDIT - 3 weeks later, now the tick boxes work for me.

Maerose Pepe

The Worst Disney Decisions sounds entertaining but it also sounds like a lot of homework for Jenny tbh.

Olivia Siggers

I know the Taylor ones will never win but by god that won't stop me from trying

Tony M Parker

Feels like a lot of that would be off hand knowledge to her

Steven Werner

Taylor Swift has been on the list for a few months. I found Jenny because the Evermore record album was in the thumbnail, maybe a lot of other newbies did too. and she was person of the year. Vote Tay Tay

Steven Werner

I've voted for it every time. love me some Taylor Swift . The Evermore album cover in the thumbnail is why I clicked on my first Jenny vid

Cowboy Jaz Luo

i guess you could say ... ... 'this is me trying'

Jaz Mei Luo

thank you for your support

sagaevan

this is jenny university's month, i know it

diego kontarovsky

ooh top and bottom 5 christmas films. tis the season!

Papa Q. Bear

Some day, Nancy Drew will return and WIN, damnit!

Nick Libasci

PLEASEEEE i will bribe you all again and again for the taylor swift one PLEASSEEEEE

erinnnnn

doll hot takes‼️ i have to know‼️

coyote

I am sad that favorite music/artists is doing so poorly 😔

Rushka Unverricht

I just fumbled around with this for half a minute. It *is* counterintuitive!

Captain Langosta AKA The Yellow Dart AKA Kyle

If you look closely, the description written for this poll contains a carefully crafted pun. See, when Jenny claims (fraudulently) to be Santa, she does not say his full name (Santa Claus), meaning the name is intended to be read as an anagram. Specifically, if you write "santa" backwards, you get "atnas." Then, if you add in the "C" from Claus, you get "C atnas." Altogether, it becomes "Catnas," which is the NASCAR pseudonym used by Katniss Everdeen in the film "Hunger Games 5: Burning Down the House" when she wishes to compete in the new, racing-centric Hunger Games without giving away her true identity. I'm not sure what this means, but it sure is neat. Merry Christmas, everyone!

Day

So many good choices this month !!

Robin Red-Hood

I am grateful for the additional explanations because "AMV storyboard" was the only part of this that made sense to me

Ted Koutz

I don't remember if she brought it up in a Patreon video where there was incidentally a submerged animatronic, but there's a submerged animatronic subreddit that's just pictures and videos of old animatronics in a whole lotta water, this would make for a pretty good video

Ciel Sharp

i will never stop supporting controversial mlp takes

Tom

Are there any updates on the Barbie video?

Jaz Mei Luo

probs won't see it for a bit. at least a year. 'a year from now!' lol

Jaz Mei Luo

tbh i feel like similar to what she said about wreck-it ralph 2, that movie is probably not worth litigating

Mairéad

That's fair enough I suppose, it's just been ages since the last proper movie review and there's been a few in a row in her wheelhouse that are so ripe for criticism, it feels like a shame.

Josie Nguyen

here’s how shocking mlp takes can still win 😭

Brian Webb

Sir this is a McDonalds would you like to order something or not?

Chantal

It seems someone remembered Jenny saying it was hard for her to say the word "decision" in the last video.

Devin M

I’m not usually someone who ends up voting for the most popular choice, but I really want the tea on Disney decisions

Brian Balster

don't say "Neigh"! gallop to the front of the herd, and pick MY LITTLE PONIES!!

Brian Balster

Nancy Drew, riding on a My Little Pony!!

Brian Ball

To the ponyheads: please don’t hold the rest of us back. Much love.

Cova Brouwer Gentry

I wanna hear about your seasonal decor takes so bad 😭

Mick A

It's been really amusing to me that Jenny is an accomplished singer/musician/writer yet so few people care about her top 5 music/artists. It would be an interesting ramble but this is basically a bad question to ask in public.

Az G

Doll related hot takes will never win but I can dream

frauleinfunf

I need more context for the Cars this is me trying amv. Specifically a link

frauleinfunf

you are a good samaritan 🙏

Shaun Cheah

but still a bad car 🚗

Sabrina de la Garza

Next month, someone’s gotta combine all the underdogs into one mega topic for a fighting chance. Like “Patreon Underdogs Speed Round: Jenny University, Disney at different budgets, MLP hottakes, and favorite music”

Markus D

I think it's one of those things where you don't know if it'll be interesting to talk about because she likes the music for deep reasons or just "because it sounds good", I guess?

Markus D

I had no strong feelings towards any given topic this time, though I DID vote for her to play the new Avatar game. I'd really like to see more Jenny gameplay some time. I don't know if she'd find it relaxing or if it would just feel the same as making content, but I figured that it COULD be a bit of a mental break from the essay-style videos.

Kiwi

Idk where else to put this. But I think a travel vlog of visiting the Moomin theme parks in Japan/Finland would be so so good from Jenny. I recently remembered how much I love the Moomin illustrations, and I found out there's a few theme parks! More people should know about their adorable squishy lumpy bodies! :)

Olivia

I’m so so eager so hear the Disney decisions topic, I’m checking Patreon like 3 times a day for it even though I know damn well it’s a topic Jenny will care a lot about, maybe even require research, therefore of course it takes a while 😭

Olivia

Damn that’s a good idea! I hope one of thenPatrons who is able to submit topics takes note

Samuel Roberts

Shoutout to the mobile app, always shitty, never able to stand up to “ya just go to the website on like your browser,” core “is a “tech company” ” management decisions
