It's time to choose the first true ramble of 2024! This ramble is extremely important as it will set the tone for the entire year. I just hope you guys don't screw it up!!!

As always, you may vote for as many options as you like*; the highest total number of votes wins.

*For mobile users, there's a bug on multiple-choice voting. The workaround is to vote for one option, force quit the app, then come back and vote for the other option(s). People have found it retains multiple votes when you do it this way

Comments

Korey

If yall don’t pick that Disneyland vlog…..

Phoebea Bogert

Jenny University has been pushed around for far too long. This is the time… we rise

Anna D

the mobile app multiple choice bug seems to have been fixed

Cecile

i need the treehouse review biblically

Carla Carroll

Thanks for the mobile workaround instructions! I can never pick just one...

Julian Wren

I like to get to these earlier before there’s a clear front runner and I feel like my vote is wasted. I wish there was a way to vote blind.

Sarahodo

No MLP hot takes?! 🙁

Clouds in the Sky

Oh wow the multiple choice is actually working in my phone now this time- I think the bug might be gone

Mairéad

This is the first time I haven't wanted any of them.. a vote for Jenny University out of solidarity for whomever keeps putting it up it is!

Jeremy B

The Betty/August Tis the damn season option RIP the one who got away :(

Markus D

Not into the idea of having to watch bad Youtuber apologies, but I'm intrigued by the "Pokemon Live!" and "weird theme park experiences" among a few others.

Special Adeline

i think i might be the only jennyhead who doesnt like theme parks... i know jenny saw movie will never win but i want to believe

Eric MacMillan

Kinda surprised more people don’t want to hear Jenny talk about Super Nintendo Land

Vera Tebrae

Why do people want the YouTuber apologies video??? Doesn’t seem like a good way to start the year at all

Skylin.

MLP HOT TAKES!!! COME BACK!!!

Momo

People love drama

Vera Tebrae

I enjoy watching videos about niche drama, for example knitting community drama but is it drama if it’s months or years old apology videos? Surely Jenny isn’t going to talk through the drama of every apology video she talks about so what is the point?

T. Fazekas

You COULD do the hack sure OR you could just make a choice and live with it FOR ONCE IN YOUR LIFE! GAWD! Just playing, Saw is a long shot but it’s one I’m taking. Jenny for Jigsaw 2024

lori

ok im gonna sound stupid for a sec and ask... is there not a button to submit the vote on patreon mobile?

puhtahtoe

Youtuber apologies sounds like the kind of thing that'd be funny at first glance but idk if getting involved in drama like that is a wise thing to do

puhtahtoe

Then again, Jenny put it on the list so who am I to say

Sarah G

Plot twists!!! What a good topic.

Sapphire Solve

RIP shocking and controversial my little pony takes

Logan Swafford

Is there a subscription tier that gives me the power to take away votes away from the apologies topic? That just sounds like a bummer, but I suppose I should always respect the will of the people.

Will Crouch

Its just in the zeitgeist right now. After 2023 and the year of apology video dumpster fires, its structural.

Vera Tebrae

Sorry but I don’t subscribe to this patreon for something “in the zeitgeist” I came here for weird niche content and I don’t think I’m alone in that.

benny !!

i just think a lotta ytber apologies r rlly funny

sagaevan

THIS IS JENNY UNIVERSITY’S YEAR, GANG !!!! ‼️‼️💯💯💯

Joan

Jenny University lets gooooooooooo

Ransack0894

Stunned there's so little love for seasonal decor... someday

Alexandra Ewing

This is the most brutal match up since I became a Patron. Youtube apology script doctor... and twists? And doll line? I'm heartbroken already about what we won't end up getting.

ginger

For me on mobile (but not on the app), all you have to do is tap the choice, and a checkmark appears meaning my vote is registered. Jenny did mention that on the app, there is a bug that doesn't allow you to vote for more than one option. But there are ways around that

Kinetics Video

I'm resolved to have to attend the Jenny U in my heart. Apologies videos sounds amazing, tho. Lots to go with there, would be so hyped for someone to share my obsession with the Xanderhal harem Discord channel apology

lori

ok, cool! thanks, its the same for me

Aurora

I love the dream doll line idea!! I hope it wins eventually if it doesn't this time.

Cowboy Jaz Luo

"Don't screw it up": a poem Last year had enough drama to be wrought with So set the tone right and vote for fave Plot Twists 🤠

Tony M Parker

Idk about the Youtube Apology video one. Might be entering weird territory.

Eric

One day Jenny University will win. I am so curious to find out what Jenny thinks that means. Apology video is too good this month though. Its still topical and alluring.

Andrew Hill

I will always regret not doing better by you, Jenny u. The fight went out of me when we got sandra/Nancy drew back to back and I lost the fire. Bon voyage crazy, I never quite knew what it would look like (complementary)

Cova Brouwer Gentry

You don’t understand, I NEED Jenny to tell me which Christmas decorations she thinks are over and underrated. I NEED THIS

Vespadesu

POKEMON LIVE PLEASE PLEASE!!! I saw it at Radio City Music Hall as a kid and it changed my life XDDD

Alex Wilk

At some point Jenny U is going to have to become a two minute bonus vid or something... I just feel bad for it at this point it's been literal YEARS and it never comes close

Sonya

one day...dream doll line will win !!!

Sarah Jesness

Same here, it sounds really fun! I like to make up doll lines myself so I'm really curious what Jenny's ideas would be, lol.

Cowboy Jaz Luo

I know I literally submitted one of the other topics ... but I voted for 3 Disneyland Budgets out of solidarity. Hold fast, king 🫡🫡

Shaun Cheah

'tis no longer the damn season 🥺

Shaun Cheah

We got a taste when Khaleesi apologized for the behaviour of her dragons. Still cannot believe anyone would dare backstab Daenerys like that; true friends would know better than to market competing healthy hair gummies.

Shaun Cheah

Those final five words hit like a freight train. I have a new rabbithole to investigate tonight, thank you.

Shaun Cheah

Ironically enough that was my back-up submission; Patreon does not support emojis in polls so "Compulsive Heteronormativity (guys please it will be my birthday soon please🥺)" was unable to be submitted to this month's poll and so Budgets got its place instead.

Kinetics Video

I haven't looked into it since it dropped and I assume much of it has been removed from the public record. Want to be clear that a bunch of people got hurt for no good reason and it's all very tawdry. But as a demonstration of how social responsibility is grasped (or not) in these very odd internet communities, it was interesting.

Sam Cotter

I really hope Jenny does a Saw vid on her main one day. Just to give the non patrons a bit of a shock

Kinetics Video

I mean, you could vote for every other topic?

Kinetics Video

It's not an elected office, you have to do this whole apprenticeship thing

Erich

Jenny University 'till I die

erinnnnn

pls a jenny doll-related video‼️

MaxMin

Dream Doll Line is a great idea, shout-out to whoever thought of that

mackenzie

omg the youtuber apology one is SO FUNNY i hope if it doesn’t make it through this time it appears on future polls

Day

The doll fans on here are a small but dedicated bunch 💪

Markus D

I don't get the appeal; it sounds like a punishment for Jenny!

mackenzie

hehe i suppose not everyone has an apology video special interest like i do

Markus D

Yeah, I don't like the idea of Jenny tackling that when so many people who apologize for things on YouTube are making half-assed apologies for some really serious shit like SA.

Markus D

HARD SAME. It sounds like punishing Jenny by making her watch a bunch of (most likely) sex pests lying through their teeth about not having done the crimes they definitely did.

Markus D

@Will Crouch Yeah, and I didn't watch videos about that stuff either because even if it's pathetic and silly that some lady made a ukulele song to say she didn't groom people, it's still ABOUT THAT VERY DISTURBING ACCUSTATION!

Markus D

I don't really have much interest in theme parks, but I like when Jenny talks about them.

Markus D

I have to admit that I've never voted for it because nothing about it sounds actually interesting to me. Like, it would require a lot of creativity to become something coherent.

Vera Tebrae

Exactly! I just feel like inevitably 3 things will happen: 1. People will get mad because their problematic fave is getting called out again and take it out on Jenny 2. Others will take the opportunity to send undue hate to people who have genuinely apologized and made an effort to change (not that it’s happened often but there have been unnecessary dramas before) and 3. People will have no idea what a drama was about and clearly Jenny isn’t going to give a playthrough of what proceeded every apology so it will be confusing at best for someone who isn’t on the internet 24/7.

Lucian Gagliola

Having seen Pokemon Live when it came to Connecticut (I was like 10), with my friends, I would love to hear Jenny's thoughts on it. It wasn't that obscure, it got a TON of marketing promotions and its songs were used in the TV series sometimes (I think it replaced the Pokerap).

Skylin.

Its really close, literally 8 votes apart. It might be another split topic? Idk, i just dont think youtube apology videos are a great way to start the year. Esp since Jennys brand isnt youtuber drama.

Olivia

I don’t want the damn YouTube apology topic to win…why make Jenny stick her nose into the stink of lying morally question

Olivia

Omg it literally cut off my comment….morally questionable and BAD YouTubers. Keep Jenny out of that for goodness sake.

Jaz Mei Luo

well all I need is 6 more votes 😂

Alexandra Ewing

Four votes now! I know I will enjoy anything but I just... really would rather not keep getting into youtuber apologies.

Markus D

Absolutely. That's one I'd love to see vetoed if the votes don't pan out because clearly there are a lot of people who would vote for "anything but Youtuber Apologies" even though a bunch of people are voting for that topic. Am I biased? Yes. But I've also seen multiple people in the comments saying stuff like "that would be such a negative start to the year" or pointing out how unpleasant that content is.

Markus D

It might be better as a small bonus? I just genuinely don't know how she would make a long-form video out of that.

Markus D

It wasn't one of my choices initially (I really want to see her review Pokémon Live at some point), but now it's my desperation vote.

The Guide

Idc what people say, the YouTuber apologies topic sounds hilarious

Steven Werner

aww no Taylor Swift option this month? Come on Pardners!

mackenzie

i feel like people aren’t aware of the breadth of hysterical things people have apologized for on youtube - it’s not all bummer stuff and i’m excited to see a topic that feels new

Jaz Mei Luo

listen it was either that or plot twists this month 🫠🤪

Yousuf Kazmi

2 video month? or do Jenny University as a Tie Break ? :)

Markus D

It still feels like something that will get old quickly in a video...

Keith Hasperg

I love Jenny’s new dinosaur video! I could listen to Jenny talk dinos for 4 maybe 5 hours!

Olivia

I’m biting my nails for the plot twist topic like it’s a horse race…and the horses racing name is Plot Twist Topic

Finnder

Two (2) votes separated them. Wow, this has to be the closest it has ever been. I hope this means a double long ramble with both topics covered. Jenny PLS! Go nuts do both. We are starved for content. I say after we got an unannounced Dinosaur museum vlog.

griffin

oh i'm gonna NEED the saw movie ramble eventually

B Hair

Where is this Jenny Dinosaur video??

Keith Hasperg

She posted a link to it on her Twitter! It’s just a short 5 min visit to a Dino museum in Germany, but it’s delightful

Ava Salazar

PLEASE PLOT TWIST PULL THROUGH

FROGheim

I neeed the saw movie one 😭😭😭

Jaz Mei Luo

it's the same channel she posts her patreon videos on! :)

Jaz Mei Luo

that would be the REAL plot twist move

Captain Langosta AKA The Yellow Dart AKA Kyle

Ah, I see the plot twist one is finally in the lead. Here's hoping Jenny didn't already start working on the video back when the YT apology option had, like, a one point lead. Changing video-horses mid-video-race doesn't sound like a good time to me!

Vespadesu

Now that it's really clear Pokemon Live isn't going to win, I just have my fingers crossed it comes back someday

Porge

I like both the leading topics but I feel like they’re each meaty enough that it’d almost be better not to have a double-up this time. (Won’t complain if that’s what happens though!) EDIT: Ah I’ve seen the comments saying the apology vid topic seems super negative and I’d agree for certain YouTubers, but I think it’s fine if the focus is on vids like the Tati Westbrook one (which Jenny has already parodied)

Pzombo

I know a lot of people are pulling for plot twists but I’m worried I’ll have to skip large chunks of the video if there are things I don’t want spoiled

Gary

We were so close to screwing it up.

MaxMin

I think most of us will be happy either way. More important than the topic is how you approach it and put your twist on things. There's been some topics I thought sounded bad but you turned it into a favorite vid of mine I go back to often (Way of Waterpark tbh)

Shaun Cheah

So is Plot Twists pulling ahead and winning the poll in the eleventh hour gonna be a Favourite or Least Favourite, do we think?

emily

that's exactly my worry :(

Nicole Jordan

Aww this made my day it was me! I can only afford this tier for this month so hopefully if people are down they can pull for it in the future! Or I’ll eventually be able to afford it and resubmit. I just love the way she talks about dolls in general and like I think about the applejack problem video all the time.

Anna D

nooooooooo
