TWO NEW OPTIONS FOR THE LOCOMOTIVE! (Patreon)

Hello my friends!

I hope everyone is doing well!

Here are two options that have been added to the locomotive stl files. Several people have asked me for these additions, and I am very happy to offer you these additions tonight!!!

The first option is a completely closed option. With a small access door at the back that allows you to reach the tealight inside.

The door is a nice little print-in-place challenge (ho yeah!), and I have made it in two versions; One with 0.2mm tolerances, and the other a little looser with 0.3mm tolerances.

If you have difficulty with the 0.2mm, you can use the 0.3mm which will make your life a little easier. However, I have tried both versions, and both print very well and the movement is perfect on both parts when the settings are correct.

Settings: Print with at least 4 walls to have a strong screw hole. 3 walls will work, but much better with 4.

HARDWARE REQUIRED:

You will need a small 3mm self-threading screw to install the small door latch.

OPTION 02:

A simple glue-on trim to give a little more finishing around the opening. There is not much more to say about this one honestly! :)

You will find the new parts in the locomotive section. I made a new folder called "Optional rear options for locomotive".

NOTE: The Bambu Lab project file was updated with all the options. Just choose the one you need.

Important information: These add-ons are suitable for all existing locomotives, and do not require any modifications to the locomotive itself. Simply print the required parts and add them to any locomotive, whether it is one printed last year or one currently in print.
