Hello friends!

I hope you're all well!

I've had a lot of requests for the first mushroom fairy houses I made, asking for them to be hollowed out so I could put a tealight inside, as is possible for the others.

In the meantime, some of you have hollowed out the models in question if i'm correct, and the files can be found on the community's shared drive via the Facebook page. (PA1_Maker 3d printing community)

So I wanted to revisit the mushroom model in my own way, and I decided to release a third mushroom model for the fairy house series.

Compared to the very first ones, which were just small houses, this one has a base, trees, and a very welcoming little porch.

Once the tealight is in place, the effect is magnificent, and a certain magic takes hold. I was apprehensive at first because the design wasnt meant to let the light shine through the roof, but in the end, I think the effect is even more beautiful, more realistic. What's your opinion? :)

The unusual shape of the mushroom's base gave me some headaches when it came to fitting the windows and door into it, but in the end, the result is super satisfying for me.

Like all fairy house projects, the whole thing is easy to print and assemble.

BUT!

Unfortunately, I couldn't completely eliminate supports from this project. Some parts require support, but the whole thing remains very simple, especially if you use a PETG support interface.

The main part that needs support is the roof. To accommodate the gills under the mushroom cap, the recess under the cap requires supports. This is where I used my PETG support interface, to facilitate super-easy detachment. But the whole thing can also be printed with PLA supports without any problems, as long as your settings are correct.

The other part that may require support is the body of the house itself, the mushroom's base. The window and door openings look better with tree supports. The result is cleaner.

A few parts require Fuzzy Skin. The part name indicates which ones require this setting.

A few parts (window and door) also require color changes per layer. Again, all printers can perform this type of color change; there's no need for a multi-color printer.

Regarding the PETG support interface, those unfamiliar with the technique are encouraged to watch some tutorials on YouTube; it's a real game changer, especially if you have trouble removing supports normally.

A BambuLab file is included, as usual, with all the required settings already defined. The color changes are per layer and not painted, so it's important to slice the plate first to see them appear in the preview window.

If you don't want to use a PETG support interface, simply make the change on the roof; the settings are per "object" and only apply to the roof.

Finally, the project can be easily enlarged to the size of your choice.

I think I've covered everything there is to say.

If you have any questions, please let me know!

Have fun my beloved friends!!! Keep printing!

Is there a way for me to place the dots in the mushroom cap before printing? I have an H2D so could print the dots in place with minimal waste.

I love these Mushroom Fairey houses and so do my friends! They make great gifts! I am looking for an stl print file for Gnomes or Fairey's to go with them.

Well I was going to upload a few pics of my working solar garden light in the Mushroom House, still a WIP as I have a few more ideas I want to try out. Is there a spot where we can post our makes?
