Hello my friends! While i am putting the last touch to another project, i decided to release a version 2 of the Candy Egg rocket of last year, with some mods requested by many of you.

This new design has now 4 boosters instead of 3.

You also asked for more details on the rocket base, to please bambulab owners who have now plenty of little sections/details to paint.

And finally, you can transform this little baby into a magnificent night light for your kids bedroom! So its half a seasonnal design and half a lamp design, than you can use all year long!

To achieve the design in the photos, YOU DON'T NEED A MULTICOLOR PRINTER.  All the rockets in the photos are printed with simple color changes at height, an easy process any printer can do.  The lines on the rocket's body are made with this command and it is really easy to do. See link at the bottom. ;)

The design come in three versions:

-The cadbury egg version.

-The kinder surprise version.

-The night light version.

The whole project is printable without supports.

All the parts are already placed in the right position for printing.

The night light version is illuminated with a simple battery operated tealight.

The kinder surprise and the night light version are the same size. The only difference, is that the night light version folder have the extra parts needed to complete the night light.

The cadbury rocket has an extra part, a top ring, to fill the gap between the packaging lip and the rocket's body. (The orange part just under the egg, on the small rocket) It is well explained in the instructions.

The design can be scale to any size you want. If you want a bigger night light, you can scale it up and illuminate it with the tealight mentionned above or any other lighting source of your choice. (Except fire, please!!! lol) But i don't recommend going smaller than the cadbury version.

BAMBULAB OWNERS:

Complete 3mf files are included in the folders. IMPORTANTE NOTE: The color changes in the 3mf files are already set on the rocket's body, BUT they are made with color change at height instead of being painted on the model. To see the colors, just slice the plate and look at the preview. You will see the color changes on your preview slider on the right.

If (for any reasons) you would like to put a top section on the smallest one (the cadbury rocket), simply use the parts from the night light and scale them down to 81%.

I hope i didnt forget something. In any case, if you are experiencing problems with the files, send me a private message and i will have a look at it!

Have fun friends! I'll be back soon with a new design! ;) PascalLink for color change at height:
