I hoped to be getting this out to you around 6 hours ago.
And then 3 hours ago.
But shit keeps breaking.

Still, the weekend is just beginning. 

Let's talk about how you can join the beta.

Beta is now open to everyone who is currently at Level 5 or higher. Technically, if someone joins to level 5 late, they can still get in too but i'm not going to go around advertising that fact because I feel weird about promoting that while we're under copyright still. However, it would frankly be obnoxious and a bad use of our time to be screening more aggressively.

Step 1- Sign Into the Forums

Yes, you need a forum account. Cat reporting is handled there. If you don't have one, you can click the 'Sign In With Discord' button to skip most of the registration process.

Step 2- Connect your Patreon to your Forum Account

Go to your Account Settings 

Patreon at the bottom here:

Click 'Configure'

Follow the button prompts that come up to Connect and Allow 

When your account is ready, you should have this cool Supporter Badge on your profile, and be in the supporter group:

If you see that on your account, you're good to go!

Step 3 - Request to Join the Testing Club

Navigate to Clubs > E19 Testing Grounds

Or just click here to go straight there. 

After that, you have requested to join the club. You will need to wait for myself or another dev/support team member to approve you. We will approve any account with the Supporter group and no others.

Step 4- Read the instructions and download the updater

Once you have been accepted, head to the Testing Info section
Read the information threads there. Inside will be the downloads for each platform.

Since we now have a patcher, the initial download will be light. You will then run updater.exe to grab the full game properly! 

Unless you are on a mac. Because steve jobs personally hates me, and mailed me an envelope full of styrofoam peanut dust. If you are on a mac you will still have to patch and download normally, I'm sorry, blame steve jobs

Discussion is primarily on the discord! 

Threads are welcomed and encouraged! We love seeing people's reactions to the game, and it's a great way to limit spoiler crossover.

Speaking of-- please be mindful of spoilers!!!! Just assume everything new is a spoiler, use those || tags on discord, spoiler your screenshots, mind your topic thread titles, etc.

Information about e19 should generally not leave the forum club and server.

This latest patch was a little rocky and I am expecting to put out another one for the biggest issues in the next day or two. However... the biggest issues we're still aware of are cosmetic, so I don't think it's anything to make you guys wait more over.

Patcher Changes

•     Windows Users:  -- There is a new patcher version that improves download speeds! You can get a fresh version of the patcher from the original download sources and replace updater.exe (but not the version file) into your game folder for faster downloads! This is not strictly necessary at this time but we do recommend it.
•     Linux Users:   -- You now have a patcher! Please use it. 
•     Mac Users:  -- I'm sorry, your operating system is trash and steve jobs is an awful person who personally came to my house, drank all my lemonade, and peed on my house plants. they were fake plastic; he wasn't even watering them, he was just being a dick. There is an updated core for you to get from the original download source, but future patches will have to be done manually still. You will continue to receive notifications on loading when your version is out of date.

The Route 3 caves have been redone thanks to the herculean efforts of a young crimothy!

Most Passwords can now be de-activated from the PC. Passwords that disable online play are not included.

Added an option to disable Biking and Surfing music.

Adapted the Show Stat Boosts mod into a minimalist display that can be toggled on and off with the Ctrl key. Thanks again Waynolt!

Backups now save with the map name in their file name

Added a custom theme for Kiki by Darius and DaForLynx!

Implemented options for Unreal Time. May tie to password later. Thanks to Bluetowel for doing this~

Over the last few patches, animations for Form Changes have been added, spearheaded by Vulpes with a little help from Smeargle~ If you find a form change without an animation, please report it!

Added requested password "inversemode"! Inverts the type chart by default on all fields. Inverse Field restores it to normal. 

Implemented client data system to pass settings and some other information between save files

Field Changes

•     --Waters Surface
•     ----    No longer boosts all Water moves 1.5x
•     ----    Boosts Aqua Jet and Water Shuriken 1.5x
•     ----    Water Pokemon now get x1.3 defenses
•     --New World, Starlight, Dark Crystal Cavern no longer buff Shadow Shield defenses x2, but give it Solid Rock effect instead
•     --Chess Field Knights now deal x1.25 increased damage when hitting multiple targets with AoE attacks, instead of the default x.75 reduced damage 

As we are prepping for wave 2, this is the last patch that will be adding features or reworking content. Future patches will be focused solely on stability and fixes.
