Chapter 1 Reboot, Page 11 (Patreon)

I think I'm done... I think I'm done? This is another page with mostly new art. 

I feel like I might go back and change some things but for now I'm taking a break to enjoy Christmas with my family. I will likely make a Christmas post for all my Patrons.

Process Images

This only took me two work days! That's not bad considering it's the holidays.

My retooling of the thumbnail. 

Lineart finished. Even though you can't see all of it in the final version, I actually drew a lot more of Munchkin's head because I wasn't sure about the placement. Obviously all of this looks kind of awkward...

Dialogue placements, drew some lines for the panels, nudged Munchkin over a bit.

Silhouettes and some dialogue balloon work.

Color flats...

Shadows and gradients...

Messing with backgrounds, added some special touches here and there, like blush and line effects.

I ended up changing the background so it was almost all black for the finished one, and I liked the effect that gave.

Here you can see the screen tone I used is still there, and I think this gives it a much cooler effect. I used another layer set to "exclusion" and that's how I got this effect.
