Chapter 1 Reboot, Page 16 (Patreon)

About halfway done with Chapter 1! 

I'll be honest, this was not my favorite page to work on. It was nice to have Vox make an appearance in the story a little earlier on (only his voice was in the original version) but I had a lot of technical problems working on this. We have a wiring issue we haven't dealt with (electrician has been called, hasn't fixed it yet though) and my computer shut down twice because of it while I was in the middle of working. And though macs will normally recover your work, it recovered one of the files I had open, but not this one. So this page was a bit more half-assed than other pages.

Behind The Scenes

This page was entirely redrawn. The next page I will be mostly reworking an older page, but this one I redrew completely. Two of these poses were rough!

The inks! It's a little chaotic since I don't have panels/gutters in yet, haha.

Whew! There they are! I also added dialogue and balloons.

Did some silhouettes.

Flat colors.

Shadows and gradation... though that first lizard monster panel is still a mess.

Background work... ugh, yup. The more I look at these images the more I am unimpressed with my work on these pages, haha.

More background and lizard stuff, highlights... I think my computer shut off suddenly and I cried a little.

Added blush and sound effects and this page is done, I declare. I'm ready to look at something else because I see mistakes I should have fixed ARGHHH. (I added a shadow or two after I already posted these.)
