Victory sits down with a chat with Stephanie's mom. I'm sure it is going to go well.

Ugh, she’s the worst. (To be clear, I love how you’ve written a character who is so easily hatable but also so familiar to many of us)

Smartkittykhan

She's been rehearsing this for awhile, huh.

roseleaf

She has been on the campaign trail running for office. She's had plenty of opportunity to rehearse. :)

Don't mind me, I'm just sharpening this stake because I'm going camping later

As much as I hate her. Great writing. She does have a point. At some point Stephanie, must learn to take personal responibility and stop being naive about trading personal attributes. That makes her, well, her. This isn't to say that government is the best regulator. And even if her mother is a chb. But no one put a gun to Steve's head and forced him to make the trades. He could've outright not honor the bet, he could've rejected the intial trades, with the exception of the racial trade. She could have turned down the trade to be cultrally korean. There are so many aspects that Steve/Stephanie could've said no. That she wouldn't have been in this predicament in the first place.

And that's something that has come up a few times. Wyatt could have stopped taking the trades at any time. But she chose to take the random trades.

Thanks. I do enjoy writing the villains.

Amelia Reisinger

And the best villains don’t believe they’re villains, which it’s clear she does not. Which is what makes her even more hatable.

Halima Abdi

if I had no idea who she was? I would probably say that she’s out of line, but she’s not wrong but knowing that she’s the cause of all these problems and probably many more man what a scumbag.

Halima Abdi

It’s funny things have gotten so crazy that she retroactively seems sane and normal by comparison

Brenda

At least she is using the right pronouns and referring to her as her child

Steph's Mom read the Ballad of Harper Kelly.
