People thought this movie was going to shit all over religion before it came out, but it's actually kinda mild, minus all the cussing and stuff.

Great reaction, as usual. Being a religious person myself, I can still appreciate the humor in this movie and have enjoyed this for many years. Just too bad about the way they treat the platypus.

This is another movie that shows me how important the first scene of a movie can be. I found the dialogue constantly stuck with the theme, so it was very dense and doesn't give you a moment to breath and think about what you just heard. But it is great dialogue. Hopefully during editing you'll notice Silent Bob had a line at the end of the fight on the train. The only other thing I have seen Linda Fiorentino in is the first Men In Black.

This came out when I was in high school and getting really sick of going to church. Just doesn't seem fair to say someone else's beliefs are wrong when they only believe them because their parents raised them that way. Same reason I believe what I believe. This movie just reinforced that in me.

Was written before Clerks. Disclaimers were because of religious protests. And are more in the style of the opening credits of Monty Python and the Holy Grail. As far as the ending God was attacked in human form, and was in the hospital as John Doe Jersey, still in human form. As explained earlier that is why god could not solve the problem. Bethany takes her off of life support, and she turns back into god, showing up at the church in time to save existence.
