Seems Vomit-ella is jealous her sister got not only the looks but the "Lord." I mean, if Ellie don't want him, during this time sisters were interchangeable as long as they met that purity standard so if Ellie "disappeared" before the wedding, guess who would have to step in and fulfill ALL the duties Ellie would have had to perform? Cruella DeVille there. Bet once she got home and treated like garbage and whatever that man is accused of that makes Ellie not want to marry him, little sister would be singing a different tune wishing she could marry some common lord or being in a field picking potatoes. Hell, fighting the plague might even be preferable.

Lol yes, the plague might be preferable. I'm imagining Ellie with a plague doctor mask. I have a pair of those squishable plague doctor and nurse plushies. The one where wife has cute little mushrooms on her head. Some siblings just know they're the favorite lol
