Hey hey hey!! How are you? I'm still trying to rid this stuppppppiiiidddd cold or whatever it is, investing in kleenex stock stat! Good things are that

Thank you so much to everyone who came and partied at the LIVE on Saturday, especially those of you in different time zones in the middle of the night and what not! I will never not be humbled by the Lives and the things that are sent and that you come to spend time with me online. I am so grateful and I promise I pay it forward in every opportunity I see.

We had the Pick-a-Flick drawing LIVE as well on Saturday and congrats to NICK with the pick of "In the Name of the Father". It will be on patreon soon but probably not until November for a YT edit. Same with the poll winners we had on the Live-The Manchurian Candidate and The Expendables.

Remember to enter Pick a Flick for this month right here!

Look how pretty this weeks poster is! So fallish and on theme! We are jumping into season two of G of T, I'm trying to keep his (you know who) memory alive! Also Lost in Translation and Stepmom with Carly for my PPOTM, I needed a movie that felt fallish while it is still ROASTING sunny weather here.

TRICK or TRIVIA night is coming at the end of this month! (poster at the top) It will be trivia on any of the scary but not too scary movies I have watched on the channel and its going to be a hauntingly good time! Come if you DARE!!! Speaking of scary but not too scary-should we do a live watchalong to The Fly for Extra Butter this September? dun dun duuuuunnnnnn! Tentative date is 9/28.

Speaking of Scary but not too Scary-I just posted a sequels poll of scary movies-there are a lot-I actually have no idea what will win. My palms are sweating. Are we ready? seems early? aaahhhh

Thank you guys, love your guts!

Cassie

Omg I haven't heard 'up your butt and around the corner' in SO long. Good times. Lol. 90's classic right there.

Omar

Ohhh 3 good ones coming this week. Gonna be a fun week

Stick Figure Studios

Despite being a hardcore film buff who generally likes Sofia Coppola as a director, I've actually never seen LOST IN TRANSLATION. I might have to rectify that with your reaction. As for STEPMOM, It's a nice enough movie. It's got some fine actors giving some good performances and a lovely score by John Williams. I think you will like it, but I find it overall pretty mediocre.

Shehab Dawoud

This is a skip week for me, unfortunately. But I'm very happy to hear that The Fly will be watched, about damn time!

David

never seen stepmom!!

Stefan Borglycke

I haven't seen GoT since it aired but can't wait to watch along with you Cassie... Gonna binge them all later. Hope you enjoy all that's to come!

Larry Darrell

I read the “Up your Butt” part first and was thinking someone was replying to me with an insult, and I thought I was gonna have to Throw Down!! ;-) You got me. :-)

David Livingston

I hope you're feeling better soon Cassie! Take care. Save some tissues for "Stepmom"... just saying.

David Freese

Well will love the trivia, I might have a chance this time! GoT is really the only thing I'm interested in but sometimes you get a week like that. I gotta just remember that October is around the corner.

Chris Thom

See can't you feel the crisp fall season air coming off that Stepmom photo already? Might be a tad early for it...but it's a 90's classic. Perfect Cassie/Carly flick.

Larry Darrell

Don’t forget about the original Manchurian Candidate (1962) as well. :-)

Brian McGovern

Up our butt? 🤭 How about we use the original Welcome Back, Kotter insult. From Mr Vinnie Barbarino (John Travolta)” Up your nose with a rubber hose”. I used to have the WB,K board game and have the entire collection on DVD, which I have yet to see. I loved that show. Showing my age as well. How many other Kernels remember that show?

Anthony Carlson

You’re welcome on the jersey! You can wear it at games, as part of your reactions, or even frame it on your wall! Whatever your heart desires! Go Green and dare I say, Go Red Wings! 🥅🏒🐙

JONATHAN REDFERN WILLIAMS

I really enjoyed the YT Live, Cassie. I'm so glad you got the Scene by Scene book I sent you. It's an absolute treasure trove of interviews with Hollywood legends, many of whom are sadly deceased now, the most recent being Terence Stamp. If you and Carly ever go back to watching the James Bond movies again, I will happily post a YouTube link to Sean Connery's Scene by Scene interview; He was the very first person interviewed for the Scene by Scene series and in turn persuaded other Hollywood legends to be interviewed!

MikeLL

There is always something to grab you on this channel and suprisingly for me this week it is the regular Game of Thrones that is the highlight. But I admit to have never seen Stepmom, which is about to change real quick, methinks! I love fall, my favorite season, love the weather, bring it on!

Shehab Dawoud

Don’t pay attention to the fearmongering, you’ll do fine! And it is a love story.. in a way.

inspectordh

I mean I'm passing on the trivia thing.

inspectordh

Because no one seems to want to bother with me on here.😔

SeanATX

I missed the Live and forgot to submit last month. BUT In the Name of the Father was always my pick-a-flick too!!! Thank you and congrats Nick! Cassie you will really like it!

Story Archer

I have been waiting for Cassie to watch Stepmom FOREVER, and I'm doubly glad that Carly is going to be there! Ideally it'd be a little closer to the holidays, but whatever, it's such an amazing movie and it's really going to resonate with them both...

Joshua Campbell

I recommend Bill Murray again in Ghostbusters Frozen Empire with a end credit scene 👌.

Chris Thom

I think of it as a Thanksgiving movie for some reason.

Doc Larry/old geezer

Sounds exciting! The fly has an original and a reimagined. Both are interesting Mr Vincent Price or Jeff Goldblum Both the original and the reimagined have sequel

Story Archer

Definitely Fall / First Snow time period for sure.

Chris Thom

A bit of a teary one. But it's pretty good.

Joe J

Stepmom will break the PPoTM curse and get 100k views on YT...mark my words.😆

Chris Thom

It's pretty great. Consider it a quiet icon of cinema. Kind of slow and plodding, but it packs a punch. Very rewatchable. In fact, I think it gets better with time.

Jon Johns

Come over to discord! Plenty of conversations to join / start!

MikeLL

Of course! Horshack forever!

Brandon Melling

Stoked for The Fly! Such a good movie. Although you'll probably never look at Jeff Goldblum the same way after you see it 😅

Robert Jewell

The Manchurian Candidate, the original or remake?

inspectordh

I can't. I only on the free Patreon so I can't go on discord

Dean Holt

I think it’s another pass on all 3 for me this week ☹️. I didn’t even make it through Lost in Translation when I tried to watch it. Just though it was seriously dull also didn’t like ether of the main characters. Just looked at what Stepmom’s about and tbh it’s sounds really depressing. ladies good luck as it sounds like you might need a box of tissues for that one.

Brad Harsel

suggestion for sequals for scary not too scary october...how about the sequal to "The Shining"...."Dr Sleep"

Chris Thom

It's on the poll below. Post before this.

Chris Thom

Immediately took me back to my sister's bit**y teen years. Lol. Thought she was back in town for a minute.

Wolf and Cub Gaming

I hope Cassie gets to watch the original Batman V Superman material in the Animated epic. DARK KNIGHT RETURNS parts 1 & 2 !!!

Katie Sivak

Yay Recommendation for scary but not to scary The Conjuring Insidious Final Destination Silver Bullet The Monster Squad The Craft

Hershey

How about Cool Hand Luke. Old but arguably one of the best movies ever made. It has never been remade because I doubt anyone can.

JONATHAN REDFERN WILLIAMS

"should we do a live watchalong to The Fly for Extra Butter this September?" I don't want to worry you, Cassie, but you might need to pause The Fly (1986) at some point. So a live watchalong might be a little problematic. Sorry, just thought that needed saying!

Larry Darrell

You were walking down the sidewalk and saw an advertisement in a theater window for a Trivia Night and posters for the films and TV shows that would be showing this month. Your reaction to this was to say “Pass,” and continue walking. The assumption was you would not return. “Reverse! 🔄” was a comical way of saying, Stop! 🛑. Turnaround and come back.

baz0348

I'm sorry The up your what? I'm not falling for the banana in your tailpipe trick.🫢

RobertNDouglass

If Cassie and Carlie have managed to watch either the Star Wars sequel series or the Hunger Games series, there's a particular character in GoT played by Gwendolyn Christie who was in both (a Rebel commander in Mockingjay and "Captain Phasma" in Force Awakens and Last Jedi). I think this was her first role before either of these (Brienne of Tarth).

Mike Redford

From GOT to LIT. Winterfell to Tokyo. Jon Snow to Bill Murray. Never a dull moment in the travel log. Speaking of, pack some pepto for THE FLY and those practical effects (Nah, it's not that bad, but gnarly). Gonna be a great month at P.I.B airways

RobertNDouglass

Heard of it, never watched it. Old, but not that old 😆

JONATHAN REDFERN WILLIAMS

I love that Cassie called Littlefinger "That little, gross, Mo-Fo!" Yes, Aidan Gillen is very good at playing slimy, deceptive, treacherous characters like Littlefinger. He also plays a similarly unlikeable character in HBO's The Wire as Tommy Carcetti, which he finished doing very shortly before he started Game of Thrones. His breakthrough role was as Stuart Jones in the original UK drama, Queer as Folk. Your jaw would be on the floor if you ever see what he does in that show!

Mark Vaderr

Fall is such a great and beautiful time of the year. Looking forward to October as always, Cassie. It would be great if you and Carly both watched Lost in Translation instead of Stepmom. The LIVE package opening was great, even though your Bullwinkle comment left all of us puzzled. Hope you get better soon. We want you ready for October. I can't wait to see what you have on the menu for that month. Be Good, Do Good, God Bless, GO BILLS!!!

inspectordh

I've been on her Patreon before but nobody seems to want to bother with me so I gave up on it.

Joe J

Gents...your uber driver dropped you off at the wrong reactor, lol.

Astraeos

Yeah it saddens me every single day how such a small number of reactors have watched that one.

Astraeos

I feel like The Fly should be watched a bit closer to Halloween, no? 9/28 is over a month before the actual day itself lol. And that title lmao. I am confuse

Baldemort

haha I love a Major League joke

Robert Durant

It is very bad to steal Jobu’s rum. It is VERY bad.

Chris Thom

Why no Carly for Stepmom?

Rene G.

YOU can all thank me for listing down The Fly on her Pick a Flick list.. Mwahahahah let the trauma begin.

Chris Thom

It takes a minute to edit all these reaction vids.

Thoko

For a second there when I read the title to this post I thought I had accidentally gone to OnlyFans instead of Patreon

Cole Jennett

Yeah, I think the goal is to get all the scary movies released on YouTube in October

Brian McGovern

Are you saying you are not old or that 50 years is not old? Made in 75 through to 79.

MrKsummer7

I thought the saying was “Up your butt and two blocks down.” At least that’s what we “Gen X'ers" used to say. So, Cassie, you’re finally getting your first viewing of a David Cronenberg film. Being a big fan of his work, I would’ve pushed Scanners (1981), as a way to ease you into his genre. But hey, a live watch-along with The Fly (1986) should be promoted as a pay-per-view event at Madison Square Garden. I hope you tape your reaction so the whole world can see. It will be classic.

Gray

Rats, the extra butter will fall on a work day, which is a shame as I'd love to be there for the watchalong for The Fly. It would be great to make it to the trivia again too and redeem myself after my internet died last time, but alas, it will probably be on weekend work night also. Both films are new to me, so I'm intrigued and GoT has been so fun to revisit.

James M

Really happy to see "Lost in Translation". I hope you guys enjoy it.

Jack

What do you mean when you say nobody wants to bother with you?

Dan M

Love the Fall look of this updates posters!! It’s certainly feeling a lot like Autumn here on Long Island. The temps for the last two weeks have been in the low 70s during the day, and high 50s to low 60s over night. It’s so nice to be able to sleep with the windows open, and it’s certainly made for some of the best sleep I’ve had in months. Trick or Trivia Night! I might actually have a shot at being at the top of the leader board for this one. Or…I can have a total brain freeze and wind up having results that are scarier than what I’ve done in the past. I’m keeping positive for this one though! 🤞 And…I am 100% on board with a live watch along of The Fly! As much as I hate to see you cringe, seeing it real time will be a hoot.

inspectordh

I say hi or something like that and no one seems to want to respond to me. That is what I mean.

Heather Cotter

I wonder if The Ring is too scary for Cassie. I'd love to see her react to it.

David

top 6 movie's are bun butter jam les miserables my fault london harry potter and prisoner of azkaban the devil's climb children of men is best film's send to my best Csssie

Dan M

I think she’s seasoned enough with horror movies now that she can handle The Ring. Would you prefer the original Japanese version, or the 2002 remake?

Heather Cotter

Tough call, honestly. I haven't seen the Japanese version myself, but that actually makes it more intriguing, not less. But the 2002 version is one of my all-time favorites.

Dan M

Hats for bats, keep bats warm

Dan M

Hey Mr. Kot-air!

Laura Thornley

One non-spoiler thing to look forward to in season two of Game of Thrones is the very obviously increased budget. Season one is great, but you can see at times where the budget was stretched to its limit.

Katie Jackson

Up your butt and around the corner is more of a Millennial saying. I remember it being said a lot as a kid

Rene G.

Japanese version did it better without the cheesy ass annoying jumpscare music

Dan M

Both are really good. The Japanese original is more stylish I guess. However, I prefer the remake because having to read the subtitles in the Japanese original took away some of the scariness for me.

MacGuffinStuff

🤣 Up your butt and around the corner, don't think I've heard that since I was 12 and it really made me laugh out loud! Thanks for that. Also, why do I always happen to working when you have a live? Every single damn time I swear. Aw man I am chomping at the bit waiting for the next GoT drop, I get so into it again I have to refrain from watching the next episode, I've already seen them all, multiple times, and yet, it's worse than having to cut myself off like "you don't need another shot of tequila man" but I want one, okay I'll stop 😤

Nathan H

Also I saw you watched deep water horizon and lone survivor. You need to see the true story and third Peter Berg and Mark Whalberg combo film Patriots Day. It will move you very in ways you not thought possible. I look forward to you seeing it. And posting!

Nathan H

If you need a laugh and romance I also recommend My Life In Ruins with Nia Vardalos. Also Laws of Attraction with Pierce Brosnan and Julianne Moore. For slapstick funny and babies Undercover Blues with Dennis Quaid and Kathleen Turner.

Kawaii Leonard

Ya. They skipped all the battles, and Robert's big king's hunt is him and 3 guys walking around the woods.

Cole Jennett

Plenty of her PPoTM’s have hit 100k, it just has taken awhile in some cases. While You Were Sleeping for example has 141k

Kawaii Leonard

The Japanese version is all terror and mood, much better.

Rene G.

Daily reminder that September is actually Halloween Eve. The whole month of it.. You're welcome

Chris Thom

There are some pretty wild swerves happening on the channel lately.

Clay F

Looking forward to Lost in Translation (a top request for me). I hope she likes it. Looking forward to Game of Thrones, as usual. Congrats to NICK with his pick of "In the Name of the Father" winning. Great movie. Looking forward to that reaction. Never seen Stepmom (that I can remember) but has some good cast members and I will watch the reaction. Glad that BvS and A.I. are behind us. You said you might take a break from DCEU. I don't mind a delay on Justice League but would welcome a reaction to Wonder Woman (2017) which is No. 19 at Popcorn Requests.

K, Zachary

Greetings Cassie Carly PIB Crew and distinguished PIB viewers. We finished Dexter Resurrection which is the single greatest season we have ever seen. Non religious affiliated of course. What did he say? "I am Dexter Morgan I am exactly who I need to be exactly who you want me to be." Unfortunately we missed the YT live, gf was on call and I was having a birthday dinner with my siblings no spouses just us kids. The gifts I got. More on that in my video. On YT. However I more interested in Debra Tate and Jillian Barberie who get together on September 5th. You can find there two hour conversatio on YouTube Debra Tate has lost a lot of weight. https://www.instagram.com/p/DOWRyq0jKNh/?igsh=MXBrcDhicjNoanowbg== GOT season 2, Lost In Translation, Stepmom we own all three that's a rarity. So we are looking forward to the week ahead. As long as it doesn't mess with the Steelers game. We aren't paying nearly $40 for NFL Sunday ticket a month not to watch the Steelers. I always like to end things with a song since Oasis recently got back together and Wonderwall was the second song I played for my gf said on the guitar nearly 20 years ago. The one I got back together with and who is right next to me telling me to get off my phone and go to sleep. From their second album (What's The Story) Morning Glory? (1995) here is Wonderwall https://youtu.be/6hzrDeceEKc?si=H-8R9Pojtnz3lbco And that's the rest of the story. I bid you all a GOOD DAY!

kaiielle

Stepmom! Love that one and it's been years since I last saw it.

keoma songs

Monster Squad is the perfect scary not too scary movie!

keoma songs

Random question somebody might know the answer to: What size screen does she watch everything on? Is it a tv or a laptop screen? I often wonder if different reactors miss out on small details if they watch on too small a screen.

Clay F

Not a laptop screen. I think a large TV.

Clay F

I liked your YT reaction to Almost Famous you posted recently.

Brian McGovern

Only 2 of the Sweathogs are still around. Horseshack and Epstein gone to the great beyond. 😪

Clay F

Patriots Day came in a respectable 4th place out of 10 choices in a poll in May. Below were the top 5: 1. Deepwater Horizon (2016) – 24% 2. Sleepers (1996) – 18% 3. Eight Men Out (1988) – 15% 4. Patriots Day (2016) – 10% 5. Invictus (2009) – 9%

Gábor Árki

Is that the original The Manchurian Candidate from 1962, or the inferior remake from 2004? Although it seems unlikely for a 60s movie to win a poll, so probably a pointless question thinking about it.

kaiielle

It's a very large TV.

kaiielle

Thanks Clay!

Clay F

The poll was a DVD poll. The DVD of the The Manchurian was the 2004 remake w/Denzel Washington. Yet, that was never clear -- whether 1962 or 2004 -- during the entire voting of the original poll and even in the runoff poll against the tied Fast & Furious. While I prefer the 1962 original, I voted The Manchurian without knowing the version b/c I preferred both versions over Fast & Furious. In the end, she indicated she may react to both versions but don't know if that was ever decided.

Clay F

+1 for The Wire

Clay F

Great post.

Clay F

Hold Down A ("Ames") recently posted a great full reaction of Cool Hand Luke to her Patreon.

Clay F

That's great, Sean. In the Name of the Father = awesome movie.

Clay F

The DVD in the DVD poll in which The Manchurian Candidate won was the 2004 remake w/Denzel Washington. She might additionally react to the original?

Clay F

The DVD in the DVD poll that The Manchurian Candidate won was the 2004 remake w/Denzel Washington. She might additionally react to the 1962 original?

Clay F

I definitely remember that show. Watched it as it aired. Loved it. Also remember that phrase well. Remember Vinnie (Travolta). Remember Horseshack.

John Rando

2nd season twice as good as the first. Prepare for a quality boost: bigger budget, better sets, costume design, cinematography, special effects… just everything

Clarence Newman

The Ring is okay as long as you realise that most teenagers arrive at breakfast looking like that.

Clarence Newman

We shouldn't judge her, Thoko. She's hopped up on cough syrup.

Clarence Newman

Yes! Rene is shouldering the blame for the rest of us! I am now legally exonerated.

Clarence Newman

Yeah, maybe a few years down the line when she's watched every decent movie ever. I will say this, though. I could not STAND that Rose & Bruno Mars song, A.P.T. - it just grated on me. BUT! Yesterday, I watched the music video for the first time and now I like the song. Such fun energy from both of them.

Clarence Newman

I have to correct you, Hershey. Cool Hand Luke may be old (ish), but it is UNarguably one of the best movies ever made. Epic egg challenges, punch ups in the midday sun, sublime car washes. "Lord, whatever I done, don't strike me blind for another couple of minutes!" In short, Cassie's channel will be deficient in true greatness until it gets watched.

Clarence Newman

Makes sense, Dean. Lost In Translation is definitely one of those films where the viewer's enjoyment literally depends on liking the main characters. I think Cassie will love it, though.

Clarence Newman

Yep. I'm equal parts excited and nervous for the poor girl.

Clarence Newman

Great gift, Anthony. I do love to see her eyes light up and she certainly did with that one.

Clarence Newman

Yeah. You have to like the main characters (actors?), but if you do, it's delightful.

Clarence Newman

inspectordh - assuming that all you're doing is sayin 'hi' or some greeting like that, it's likely to be ignored, but that's no reflection on you. This is a very popular site and folks have a lot of comments to sift through. If we responded to every one of them, we'd be doing nothing else all day so we generally respond to ones that attract us. My suggestion would be, instead of trying to introduce yourself (which is not necessary), start making comments about the reaction Cassie just posted, or suggestions for future reactions, either as a new post or in response to someone else. You'll find that, pretty soon, people are engaging with you and you'll feel more like a part of the community. After that, you can just relax and have fun.

kaiielle

I am. Currently on a 5 hour train journey, so I have some time to catch up on things. ☺️

Stick Figure Studios

I asked her during the live if she'd be willing to watch both and she said yes.

Stick Figure Studios

A number of people (including myself) voted for it thinking it was the 1962 original. I asked her during the live if she'd be willing to watch both and she said yes.

Stick Figure Studios

It's okay. Treacly but the cast is good and John Williams' score is lovely.

Stick Figure Studios

I asked her if she'd be willing to watch that one to and she said yes.

Stick Figure Studios

I haven't seen the Japanese original, but I'm a big Gore Verbinski fan, so I love the remake.

Stick Figure Studios

I'd love you see as reaction to that too. Over of my favorites.

Clarence Newman

I'm so paranoid. When I first saw the heading of this post, my brain seriously offered up the question, "Has someone hacked Cassie's account?" Then I remembered her calling Littlefinger a "gross little mofo" and it all made sense. Ah, she's come a long way, our delicate little flower. She used to be Sarah Connor in The Terminator. We've now moved on to Terminator 2. She is truly ready for The Fly.

Gray

Trivia image didn't load for me on pc, but least now I see it's a tuesday which is a result!

Ted Whalen

You’re telling me that Jesus Christ can’t hit a curveball

Clarence Newman

Stick! Do not drink and type at the same time!

Clarence Newman

While we're on the subject, I'm going to make a community prom-prom right now.... If The Fly doesn't hit a quarter of a million views, I will literally never mention Canonball Run again.

Philip Alan

I'll be honest... I never heard of it. (hides)

Dean Holt

Personally I think it’s got 35k to 45k written all over it. I never heard of it before yesterday but it just looks like a movie with a small cult following.

Clarence Newman

That's your Pick-a-Flick moniker, Flag, but I don't know why you're sad at the moment. Duel is on the horizon!

Clarence Newman

Mark. I wouldn't normally go this off-topic, but Holy Toledo.....that Bills comeback!

KevGee

Hi just wondering if you've ever seen 1974 Thundbolt and Lightfoot. Action/Comedy. Clint Eastwood and Jeff Bridges, or 1977 The Gauntlet Action/Thriller Clint Eastwood, Sondra Locke.

Thoko

I’m not judging. And I’ve got a cold right now so I am hopped up on cough syrup too

Milton Reduxed

Did you have any luck with the mooks at patreon about the glitch where forums shoot to the top when it's supposed to stay static, and stays static when it's supposed to shoot to the top? I can confirm it's happening on all channels and also confirm it's really f$#king irritating

Dean Holt

I hope she does like it tbh and I’m happy for everyone else who likes the movie and that it’s getting watched on the channel. - It’s a bit like Whiplash but I genuinely hate both lead characters in that. I appreciated how great JK Simmons performance was, but I just thought it was unrealistic that a teacher would have those teaching techniques. Regarding Miles Teller character I just thought he was a word I don’t want to use on here, sounds like Hunt 😂😂

Canadianant

This title is yet further proof that Cassie is a comedic genius at times. Sometimes unintentionally mind you but either way it's adorable. You can add this to things that you didn't think you hear Cassie say. This is up there with on the live package opening her describing Rocky climbing all over her naked body. Then quickly realizing what she was saying. 🤭 🤣 It was even more comical as at the time I had forgotten that she had rocky the lizard.,! It's okay cassie you can blame the cough syrup. I'm actually amazed at times that given the amount of footage both recorded and live that Cassie has made there aren't more let's call them unusual comments. It can't be easy to just riff to one's self endlessly and not have a few unusual tangents. Either way it's those things that end up coming across as endearing. Never change Cassie it's a fun ride.

Mark White

+1 for “The Gauntlet”

Mark White

Please don’t say that Clarence, I need you to carry on your CR campaign! The day Cassie finally watches this legendary movie, it will put a big smile on my face.

Katie Sivak

I don’t know if you react to documentaries, but I think you would love the Christopher Reeve one and there’s a new documentary I like me about John Candy that looks great and I know how much you liked his movies so maybe you could react to either of those

Katie Sivak

Monster Squad would be good for Carly too

Gray

To be fair he didn't say when it had to reach quarter mill, so he carry on campaining. I think it will do well on YT but it seems only the select few do big numbers nowdays. I'll be happy to be wrong though as I do love The Fly.

Clarence Newman

Agreed on Whiplash - great film but not very nice characters, and hard to believe a teacher would be that cruel. And yes, JK did treat Miles Teller's character like the Runt of the litter.

Clarence Newman

Man of Steel is on 311k, Gray. All it takes is a great film PLUS the desire to see a certain reactor watch it for the first time. In the reactorverse, there can't be many pairings that would make fans rub their hands together more than Cassie versus The Fly.

Clarence Newman

Milton. Not really. I gave them all the info and screenshots and detail I could, but in the end there was no resolution. The attitude seemed to be that it was isolated to PiB. I told them that wasn't true and they promised to look into it. I haven't heard anything since.

Above Average Dave

Not germane to this post, but I know how much Cassie loved MASTERS OF THE AIR. The last remaining B-17 pilot from the Bloody 100th Squadron of the 8th Air Force - and one of the first to 25 missions - John "Lucky" Luckadoo passed at 103 years old. He was inexplicably not featured in the show (I suspect because his personal story did not fit certain narratives), but I heard an inteview with him when the show premiered and he was still sharp as a bee's butt. A real interesting guy, and a hero of the war: https://www.militarytimes.com/news/your-military/2025/09/09/john-luckadoo-last-b-17-pilot-of-the-bloody-hundredth-dies-at-103/

Joe J

We all know Cassie promises many things in the moment...believe it when you see it happen. If she does react to the 62 version, will be patreon only I suspect.

Joe J

Check her Letterbox bro. All the films she's watched are listed.

Ted Whalen

Dave- that is a great article (thanks for providing the link). It is sad that there are only a handful of WWII veterans that are still with us (my dad served in the Pacific theater). There will never be a generation of men and women like them again.

Joe J

Looking forward to Duel and The Fly. We have to enjoy the wins we do get around here...glass half full and all that, lol.

Popcorn In Bed

i saw a trailer for that John Candy one and it looks so good! And I have seen the Christopher Reeves one and loved it!

Popcorn In Bed

bahahahaha i didnt realize until now I didnt clarify that Rocky was my bearded dragon

Katie Sivak

Is that something that you would be willing to react to on your channel? I know a lot of people like your reactions to John Candy movies

Popcorn In Bed

Big TV, in the very very beginning it was my laptop! I think its 65 incg tv!

Popcorn In Bed

omg i dream of high 60's and low 70's, sounds dreamy!

Clarence Newman

Ooh, does that mean we're going to get a 60s and 70s poll?

Katie Sivak

Oh yes. It’s basically the goonies meets universal monsters. It’s a bunch of kids fighting like the classic monster . It’s very like not scary and but it’s cute. It’s more of a like goonies with the Halloween version. It’s basically along the lines of like hocus-pocus in terms of scary, but it’s cute and I really enjoyed it and I think you and Carly would like.

Popcorn In Bed

Thank you so so much, I wish I could have filmed showing my boys! So special to have my own OG UHC jersey, really thank you so much!

Katie Sivak

Carly could not watch silver bullet but you would really like it has Gary Busey the guy he liked from point break and it’s more of a coming of age with Warewolf. It’s from a story by Stephen King.

Clarence Newman

Dare I point out that Chris Hemsworth has done two different documentary series' called Limitless, where he pushes his physical and mental barriers?

Joe J

She's just messing with you Clarence....don't take the bait, lol.

keoma songs

Oh yes, I agree with Katie. It has scares like the old 1930s horror movies updated for the 80s but not as gory or adult as say The Lost Boys. It has more sweet moments and cute little kids and made up swear word alternatives.

Mark White

Enjoy your trip Kaiielle.

Anthony Carlson

You’re welcome! Btw, that “C” on your jersey stands for Captain. Players with “C” and “A” on their jerseys are allowed to talk to the referees on rules.

Mark White

Dan, I kinda with you on this. I know it’s a unpopular opinion. I like both but for different reasons. I think the original is more ‘scary’ but the subtitles take abit away for me. I do like the remake. It is lighter on the scare front, but I like the tone and I love the Zimmer Score.

JONATHAN REDFERN WILLIAMS

Thanks, Cassie!!! I know The Manchurian Candidate won the DVD poll and you said you might watch both versions of it; In the Scene by Scene book there is an interview chapter of Janet Leigh talking about working with Frank Sinatra on The Manchurian Candidate (1962)!

Mark White

Long Island Dan, my mind just goes straight to “Everybody loves Raymond” I know it wasn’t shot there, but I believe the exterior shots were and the Barones lived there. My second favourite American comedy.

keoma songs

And for what it's worth, Monster Squad was co-written by Shane Black who wrote LETHAL WEAPON and KISS KISS BANG BANG, so it has a similar clever vibe only PG-13 with kids and monsters. And Uncle Rico from Napoleon Dynamite has an early role in it.

Tyler Foster

Here's hoping for the original or both. I like the remake but the original is the masterpiece.

Katie Sivak

Yes, I think Carly could totally handle that movie. I mean, she watched the invisible man and zodiac which I think are much scarier and she would probably appreciate the cute kids and the clever use of the universal monsters.

Mark White

Hi Cassie, any update on the replacement for FAQ? General chat page? 🙏

Clay F

I don't think The Fly gets 250,000k views. Hardly nothing is getting that level of views now.

Joe J

Mark - I was just going to ask that, lol. It's been what a couple of months now?

Mark White

Not asking for miracles Joe. It just would be nice to know if it is still in the works?

Clarence Newman

250,000k would get Cassie on The Tonight Show, Clay. 😂 As for 250k, I'm not so sure. Man of Steel topped 300k purely on the basis of Henry Cavill's magnetism. The Fly is a much better film and Cassie's reaction to it will be more compelling. I stand by my prediction.

AdrianF

I'll watch anything, but was seriously shocked at The Fly (I'd not seen it since release) when another channel had it a few months ago.

Katie Sivak

Just fyi The Monster Squad is on Paramount +

Just Plain Bob

I’m also curious/slightly obsessed with the answer to Mark’s question. But I’m not hopeful of a response. Or, for that matter, a resolution.

Clarence Newman

It has the advantage of being complete fantasy, Adrian, meaning it won't stick with her too long. It'll be a heavy watch, but I think she'll be glad she did it.

Byrd N. Hand

Yes, Michael Cimino's first 3 films - "Thunderbolt and Lightfoot," "The Deer Hunter," and "Heaven's Gate" (despite its reputation) - are all worthwhile.

Grad

Will Asian horror finally get some representation this year? I'm not giving up hope. Lots to choose from for an Asian horror poll. The Ring/Ringu (1998) comes up now and again in the comments, for good reason. It’s a good place to start. Maybe Dark Water (2002) from the same director.

Mark White

Hi Cassie, just watched some of your Live, it’s great to watch along to while having brekkie in the the morning. I just wanted to pick up on a question you were asked at about 2.34.43. Someone asked if you are going to watch “some proper horror movies this year?”! And I think you felt that you most certainly did last year! I also think it’s was mentioned at roughly same time there is a “Blade 2” “Underworld evolution” “Predator 2” these are more superhero/action/sci fi etc. If I go through, with my very limited horror knowledge (as I am not a horror fan) I believe you watched “IT2” and “Saw”. It is questionable if any of the others can be considered true horror movies?! So that’s just two horror movies all year for horror fans. Where as other genres get a lot more attention. I do however understand that horror (True horror) is particularly difficult for you unlike other genres. It’s not like you enjoy them and they don’t exactly help you sleep at night! But, you seem to have changed a lot over the last year or so and seem able to cope with much more tougher imagery. My personal opinion is make Halloween just a 5-6 slot long period, so it’s not such a slog for you. But make sure it’s true Horror. I know this means watching some movies like “Texas Chainsaw massacre” which I Hate! And I don’t use that word likely! But it would give the horror fans something to get their teeth into, pardon the pun! 😆 I think I just know how I would feel if it was Sci-fi or thrillers or dramas getting the same treatment. I also think, the other movie options like Blade and Predators, aliens, underworlds etc can be watched at any time through the year. It would mean these movies are spread out for you and fans as well as not annoying the horror clan. Please Cassie, this is not meant as a criticism, I just wish to make things easier and farer for all. You really are the best reactor in the universe and I would be lost without PiB ❤️

Dan M

Hey Mark! Yes, the Barone’s lived in Lynbrook, which is in Nassau County, Long Island. But the exterior shots were filmed in Merrick, which is a few towns east of Lynbrook. I would definitely put Everybody Loves Raymond within my top 5 all-time favorite sitcoms.

Mark Vaderr

Would love a reaction to "The Ring".

Richard Maurer

Say something controversial (like Scream 2 sucks, lol) people will definitely respond then.

Richard Maurer

I’m kind of shocked there’s a film that Stick hasn’t seen ;-)

Just Plain Bob

I’ve always liked you, Mark. But if you keep this up I’m liable to ask for your hand in “best-friends-in-the-world-forever hood.”

Clay F

Train to Busan (2016) is No. 320 at Popcorn Requests.

inspectordh

Never watched the Scream movies

Grad

Onibaba (1964) and Kwaidan (1964) if you want to go back to the roots. They wouldn't win though.

Richard Maurer

Yeah, Monster Squad is a kid’s movie, so Carly could probably handle it. ;-)

Richard Maurer

What trauma? You’d think she was watching The Substance the way you people talk.

Richard Maurer

Scanners, and then Videodrome. I rewatched Videodrome recently and man was that film prescient and ahead of its time.

Richard Maurer

The original is without a question better. While most original foreign films tend to be better than the US remakes, in this case the difference between original ( titled Ringu ) and the remake (The Ring) is like night and day.

Mark White

😂 cheers Bob 😂 I guess I feel I’m in a good position as a none horror fan to put forward a unbiased opinion. Plus, I know how I would feel if it was me in the horror fans shoes.

Richard Maurer

The Fly will do well, over 100k most likely. Over 250k? Eventually?

Mark White

+1 for “The Ring”

Richard Maurer

She literally had one movie last year that I could say was 100% horror - It: chapter 2. the only other thing that came close was Cloverfield, but it's generally considered a monster / Kaiju film, and not what most people would consider a Halloween film.

Mark White

We certainly get some good variety on the channel.

Richard Maurer

As long as it's Ringu and not the American remake, The Ring, I'm in. I wouldn't bother to watch the remake.

Cole Jennett

I’m pretty sure Cassie considered The Cabin in the Woods to be horror.

Mark White

Richard, I will humbly concede to your horror knowledge that “Saw” is not a true horror movie. I just didn’t want to be to harsh on the lady. But I certainly felt “The Village” “Cabin in the woods” and what lies beneath” we’re not horror. But I did really enjoy the what lies beneath reaction with Carly hiding under the blanket😆 I like Blade, Constantine and Underworld. But they can be shown at any time in the year.

Robert Durant

Ok Whalen let’s not start a holy war here.

Tyler Foster

Cassie doesn't actually do that many Patreon exclusives. No reason to expect that Manchurian would be one of them -- it is not an obscure movie (in part thanks to the remake reminding a new generation of its existence even if they haven't actually watched it) and I see no reason it would do any worse on YouTube than any of the other older movies published to YouTube.

Mark White

That is true Cole, but I’m guessing it still doesn’t make it true horror for horror fans. In fact I’m guessing Cassie feels alot of her October movies are horror and I don’t blame her, she really does get freaked out! But, I’m way above my pay grade here! Horror is my least watched genre. I just wanted to help out my fellow Patreons and give Cassie a possible alternative to such along October.

Richard Maurer

Cole - I like Cabin in the Woods, but it’s comedy first, Horror second.

Richard Maurer

Well any topic, as long as it’s controversial. People love to argue.

Joe J

For me, a "real" horror film needs to have a non-reality based premise. Monster films fall under that...so for me are horror films. Movies like Saw, Friday the 13th, and Scream are not horror in my book. The Exorcist, Hellrasier, Halloween, the Dracula films, and The Fog are obviously horror films. It all depends on how each of us defines what is a horror film. I concede my definition is too narrow for many people.

inspectordh

I don't want to start any arguments on here

Clarence Newman

We are all ignoring one simple, overriding fact that makes these discussions deaf, dumb and moot. It really is quite simple. However, I am not going to share it with you because horror fans be crazy.

Cole Jennett

Well either way, I think she should get more credit than she has been for stepping it up each year imo.

Clarence Newman

Having said that, if I was in charge of the roster in October, I would pick these 5 movies: 1) Nosferatu (1922) 2) The Fly (1986) 3) Horror of Dracula (1958) 4) Freaks (1932) 5) The Devil Rides Out (1969) The rest should be cuddlies so Cassie can rejuvenate.

Clarence Newman

After all this time, I fear the General Chat page will turn up around the same time as a reaction to Rhinestone.

Clarence Newman

One thing no one can accuse Cassie of, Cole, is that she doesn't try to please us. Truly a rock and a hard place sometimes.

Clarence Newman

Interesting, Richard. You clearly prefer the original (which is fine), but the remake would still give you a definite, no-doubt-about-it HORROR movie in October. Are you sure you'd pass it up?

Clarence Newman

By the way, Mark - don't be fooled by JP Bob's overtures of friendship. He will just use it to try and get you to Pick-a-Flick 'World's Fastest Indian'. (Dreadful film. Woof!)

Josh P.

Hey, I'm new here and Lost In Translation was my poll submission! How does this work? Did she personally pick it? Was it the #2 most voted? I'm beyond THRILLED to see her reaction to the movie. :)

Josh P.

The Craft holds up. Definitely not too scary. Very witchy. Not scary.

Josh P.

Frozen Empire made me appreciate the 2016 Ghostbusters movie more. Haha

Josh P.

I just discovered that the woman in In the Name of the Father is the bird lady in Home Alone 2!

Josh P.

What film turned you onto Sofia Coppola if it wasn't Lost In Translation?

Cole Jennett

It got 2nd on the poll she did of Cassie’s picks.

Chris Thom

There's an app called Popcorn Requests that you can vote on whenever. I think this was in the top 100 overall requests. But it also got close in a themed poll recently.

Clarence Newman

Josh! We like to vet new members as they walk through the door. You have just professed your love and support for Lost In Translation, which we've been trying to get watched for years, so not only can you stay, you also get a green card AND a job in Miami. Hold on, nope, that's from Scarface, which we are also trying to get Cassie to watch. In any case, welcome.

Chris Thom

Any thrillers or semi-scary/spooky, Halloween-adjacent films you'd like to see her react to this year?

Ted Whalen

Mark- it would be nice to get some type of update, even if the answer is “nothing is going to change” at least we would then be able to move forward (the radio silence is never a good option).

Chris Thom

Looking forward to the John Candy one. Have seen Reeve's son on Good Morning America as anchor and talking about the movie about his dad. But haven't watched yet.

Chris Thom

How many countries are you seeing on the trip, K?

Clarence Newman

Are you addressing me, Chris, I feel like you're addressing me. I'm often wrong, though, so you may be addressing Mark.

Clarence Newman

I, myself, am a broken man, displaced and downtrodden by this heinous appropriation of our bitchin' little clubhouse. I have not been myself, which is why some of my posts since that fateful day have been incoherent, babbling drivel.

Josh P.

Wow, top 100? Glad she decided to do the runner-up! Thanks for the link! :)

Josh P.

Great! I'll be sure to look for that and get my votes going. Thank you!!

Josh P.

Thanks, Clarence! I feel so welcomed. Haha

Clay F

I started to mention that in the very very beginning it was your laptop.

Mark White

Cole, I couldn’t give Cassie more credit without my wife getting worried! I said many times Cassie is the best reactor on the tube, a natural born entertainer, a wonderful person who is clearly a amazing mom and wife, rapped up in a beautiful package! Any more credit would involve getting down on one knee!!! I have repeatable said she has come along way in the last year or so with her tolerances to bigger and more scary imagery. Remember, I was a big white knight a year ago! It is ok to give suggestions that in my humble opinion May make it a little easier for Cassie, with a shorter October and more entertaining for the horror fans.

Mark White

😂 not a chance Clarence! “Touching the void” Until the cows come home! 😆

Joe J

Unless Cassie includes the last week of Sept and the first week of Nov., we will get less scaries this year. We had (12) last year, but we only have (7) open watch slots due to GoT & PAF. She has not yet let in be known if GoT reactions will be reduced in October.

Mike Lemon

@Joe- "For me, a "real" horror film needs to have a non-reality based premise." You need to look up Ed Gein. You would probably be surprised by the number of horror movies that have a reality based premise.

Mark White

To answer your question of the top of my head Chris: “Thriller or semi-scary” Red dragon/Hannibal Blade 2 and trinity Underworld evolution Predator 2 and Predators Prometheus I even think “Sunshine” can come under the category. (That’s a great movie! but more Sci-fi) The thing is Chris I’m making a case for Horror fans to get more of what they want. But as you can see I’m their worst enemy! With that list of sci-fi/action/suspense sequels! Outside of “The Exorcist or “The Shining” I’m just not a horror fan.

Mark White

True Joe. Didn’t think of that.

Mark White

“Scarface” Clarence is one of my all time fav’s. What unbelievable performance by Pacino. But it does worry me Cassie watching it! Not that she couldn’t handle it, it’s what if she hates it! it would make me very nervous the day she finally watches it! 😬

Mark White

Welcome Josh and we are all looking forward to Lost in Translation.

Joe J

Mike - War films are pretty horrific, but we don't classify them as horror genre films. I don't classify serial killers and slashers in the horror genre..again just my take on it.

Just Plain Bob

Josh, don’t let Clarence lure you in with his nice guy act. He bullies everyone here. Just the other day, he locked me in a metaphorical school locker for disagreeing with him. Mere moments ago, he disagreed with me about “Carrie.” Oh, he was outwardly polite and courteous, but underneath was a seething cauldron of anger. I could feel it. I think he may be nuts.

Mark White

Bob, you bring out Clarence’s big green guy! Every time you bash Cannonball Run 😉😆

Joe J

Cassie hated (okay...strongly disliked, lol) "Sin City"...still a very entertaining reaction. Sometimes these types of movies bring out her best reactions IMO.

Richard Maurer

Supernatural Slashers - Jason, Micheal, Freddy - are horror. Non- supernatural slashers - Ghostface, Norman Bates - are usually not. But sometimes a human slasher can get honorary horror status - Leatherface.

Clarence Newman

Which proves beyond doubt that Carrie is a horror movie.

Richard Maurer

Yes - 100%. I hate inferior remakes more than I hate bad sequels. I’m still peeved at Kat from KatWatchesHorrorMovies for watching the remake instead of Ringu

Josh P.

Sin City!? I would've been more surprised if she DIDN'T hate it! Haha

Richard Maurer

Never said it wasn’t. Can’t say why without spoilers though.

Mark Vaderr

I still cannot believe they won that game.

Mark Vaderr

There's no question that a movie like "Stepmom" is tailor made for Cassie & Carly. "Lost in Translation" is a much better movie and a reaction from both the popcorn ladies, and I think they will both like it.

cfb0453

R.I.P. Charlie Kirk. (1993 - 2025)

Mike Lemon

I assume a general chat will happen shortly after the The Full Monty reaction.

Chris Thom

Big plus one for Hannibal, Sunshine, and Prometheus.

Clay F

I saw that. I decided to watch the reaction nevertheless.

My_Cousin_Mose

@Clay The man was assassinated today and of course you have to make sure people know you didnt like his politics.

Chris Thom

Neat animation on the Trick or Treat Trivia thing. That's a nice touch. If you're a Disneyland fan I'm wondering if there was a little Esmerelda influence happening there.

Chris Thom

Someone I'm subscribed to on YouTube was just posting about the Oasis show. Looked great.

keoma songs

Thank you for taking the time to answer, I appreciate it

Milton Reduxed

I have plenty to say about the terrorist assassination of Charlie Kirk but there's dozens of other places on the internet to do it, and Cassie wants to keep her forums friendly and about movies, so I'll add nothing

Milton Reduxed

It's pretty cool, it even appears animated in the thumbnail

Chris Thom

Actually think she might enjoy it. Suspenseful and mysterious, but not overly horrific. Vibey setting.

Chris Thom

I think she should someday. Maybe start with soundtracks or movie scores to keep the PIB theme going. Must be nice to know she has years of potential material to tap if she chooses. Job security is a blessing.

Clarence Newman

Yes, and we still need an Avian Martial Arts poll.

Clarence Newman

I'm getting the GoT jitters again. Must be Thursday.

Richard Maurer

Bob and I don’t agree on everything horror, just most things.

Richard Maurer

How about a bad movie poll? That would cover the suggestions in the last 2 posts.

K, Zachary

So I am a huge fan of Oasis but the tickets are massively expensive. So who you subscribed to. They got extremely lucky because they sold out fast.

Joe J

These folks are pros Chris...no expense is spared for our enjoyment, lol.

AdrianF

5pm here, hoping for an early GoT drop. Expecting one of disappointment, a 3am watch or having to wait a whole day!

Chris Thom

This channel does always have a nice aesthetic to it. Very clean and bright and pleasant.

Joe J

Just for fun, what would be your Top 5 "guilty pleasure" scaries for a Cassie reaction? You can only pick (5) now! I seem to be stuck in the past here guys, lol. Child's Play (88) The Fog (80) Satanic Rites of Dracula (73) The Legend of Hell House (73) Children of the Damned (64)

Grad

._.

Above Average Dave

Gutted by this. This was a hard day. God bless, and bless his wife and two young babies. Evil is real. This will also likely shake this community in Utah, which the locals call "Happy Valley." Any time I've been there it's like walking into a Norman Rockwell painting. Just awful.

Clarence Newman

Time Machine, Meander, Freaks, Carry On Screaming, Wolf.

kaiielle

Two for sure (Netherlands and Germany), and hopefully Poland as well but time flies and I like to slow travel and really explore places, so it's a big maybe as of right now.

Chris Thom

Blair Witch Book of Shadows, House of a Thousand Corpses, House of Wax, Creep, and When a Stranger Calls. And the rest of the Scream movies for funsies.

Ted Whalen

Clarence- are you sure that it is GoT jitters, or is your body reacting to something else????? You may need to go see a doctor for your condition (I don’t know if they have found a cure for your ailment.

Clarence Newman

Hard to tell, Ted, I have an array of afflictions.

Clay F

As I don't really watch horror movies, I have only one guilty-pleasure horror movie: "The Rocky Horror Picture Show" (1975) which I haven't seen that many times.

Jeri1979

Anybody knows when the next GoT reaction will be posted? I fear It could be "delayed". Its already Thursday and the third reaction of last week has not even been posted. :-(

Clay F

This week, I rewatched GoT S2:E1-E2 (stellar TV) and Lost in Translation (never get tired of watching LiT) in anticipation of the reactions. Also entered Capote (2005) as my PAF.

Clay F

I feel you, but b/c Thursday is so early in her drop week, I have conditioned myself for a Friday drop, with a Thursday drop being nice if happens.

Catherine LW

My heart aches for his 2 babies. They will grow up with few memories of their father. 😢

Catherine LW

I guess he thinks it’s all about him.

bgb1975 (Brian)

@kaiielle - completely unrelated to your post - but you asked (some time ago), so I thought I would let you know - I just got back from that little group trip up to Waterton, Banff, Jasper, Glacier National Park, Spirit Island, etc. It was amazing! BUT - we did have some haze (from the wildfires) which did detract from the experience.

bgb1975 (Brian)

Hi Cassie - I just returned from a nine-day group trip to Glacier National Park, Waterton, Banff & Jasper! Flew into Calgary and went from there. I'll take the mountains over the beach any day of the week and twice on Sunday. Drove Going-to-the-Sun road, did a helicopter tour around Banff, got to walk on the Athabasca Glacier, visited Spirit Island, got to ride a moose, put my head into the mouth of a brown bear (ok maybe not those last two). It was so much fun. But we did have some lousy haze from those stupid wildfires which detracted from the spectacular scenery somewhat.

kaiielle

Glad you had a good time! Yes, wildfire smoke can be brutal. The summers of 2017/18 were especially bad. I couldn't even see the mountains I lived at the base of, the smoke was so thick. I'm glad it didn't completely ruin the trip.

Chris Thom

Yeah the route from The Shining! I always wanted to drive that. Sounds fun. Glad you had a good time.

Clay F

There are only two reactions (GoT and The Accountant) last week because she had the 4-hour YT Live. There is no third reaction from last week to be posted. Last week is over and done. I have conditioned myself for Friday GoT, and if a GoT Thursday drop happens, that's nice. Thursday is early in her drop week. Drops typically occur Friday to Monday with Tuesday as a contingency day. We have been fortunate in her favoring GoT with a couple of Thursday drops.

Clarence Newman

Banff! That's that place I heard once in a tv show many years ago and thought I'd misheard the word. Corinne Tate travelled there from Connecticut to find Father Timothy Flotsky, who was on a retreat there to try and forget her. She tried to lure him out with tales of beautiful restaurants in Banff.

Clarence Newman

Richard's guilty pleasure is Cannonball Run. He just can't get up the chutzpah to admit it.

Clarence Newman

And Clay. Me and Wifey have decided to watch Rocky Horror Picture Show. We've never seen it. Saturday is our next movie night.

Clarence Newman

Yes! A bad movie poll would be stacked with my faves!

Above Average Dave

After seeing Capote, I quickly mastered a near-perfect impersonation of Phillip Seymour Hoffman's near-perfect imitation of Capote's voice and drove my friends crazy with it for nearly two weeks until they threatened an intervention to make me stop. I can still summon it when needed, usually at drive-thrus.

Clay F

That's hilarious. Wow -- you must have a good ear.

Cole Jennett

I’m trying to figure what took you there, lol?

Jeri1979

Thank you. Thought the third reaction would be chosen during the YT-live.

Chris Thom

Oh, Blade Runner too. Iconic.

JohnnyUtah

Did that first line leave anybody a lil uncomfortable in the backside region of the body? 😅 GoT!!!

Chris Thom

And now with a closer look at the animation...I can't unsee it. Make it stop. lol

Above Average Dave

I got knocked around a bit by nuns in grade school for being a wise-ass mimic. Among other things. The gift that keeps on giving.

Clarence Newman

The first line, Johnny? "Hey hey hey!!"? That just made me think of The Monkees. +1 for GoT......NOOOOOOW!!!

Clarence Newman

Yeah, my mind goes off in strange directions sometimes, Cole. Here's my logic: In my first response, I suggested we riot if GoT didn't drop today. When Clay then heinously suggested it was okay to delay it till Friday (heinous, I tell you), I felt the need to back my play. "Captain Moonlight" is what Joseph Donnelly's friends shout when they are rioting outside Daniel Christie's house. You're sorry you asked, aren't you?

Clarence Newman

I'll tell you what I'm guilty of - wanting Cassie to watch The Satanic Rites of Dracula because my Nan stopped me from watching it when I was 12 because there was boobies in it.

Mark White

That’s sounds awesome Brian. I too am a mountain man over the beach.

Clarence Newman

Capote..... I'm not sure why I've never watched that, bearing in mind I'm a Philip Seymour Hoffman fan. Does it stack up to his performance in Along Came Polly?

Richard Maurer

Clarence - I have no problem with Cassie watching SRoD - AFTER SHE WATCHES THE 6 OTHER LEE DRACULA FILMS THAT CAME BEFORE!!!!!!! Sorry for shouting. I’ve been dealing with a lot of nonsense here lately.

Clarence Newman

I find it hard to endorse the entire series of Saruman Draculas, Richard, any more than either one of us could endorse all the Planet of the Apes's. There are surely some where the ONLY attraction is the boobies! HORROR OF DRACULA is pretty much a must because it is the definitive Dracula and therefore an important box for Cassie to tick. I don't see her going much beyond that one, though. As for SRoD being a no-go because it's got "that" word in it, Flag, it's worth noting that Game of Thrones does too. Best line of the entire series.

AdrianF

I was only being tongue in cheek, but it's really hard not to keep on watching each week!

Richard Maurer

Clarence - You misunderstood my comment, partly because I didn’t make it clear. I’m not saying she should watch the entire series. I’m saying she will never get to SRoD because it’s the last movie in the series. We’ll be lucky if she even watches Horror of Dracula, but she’s not going to suddenly skip all the others to watch the last movie. Especially as SRoD is generally not considered to be one of the good ones. Even Christopher Lee disliked it and only did it to help out Hammer Studios, who were in financial trouble at that point.

Richard Maurer

Must….resist…..making a Season 8 joke…..here.

Clay F

Philip Seymour Hoffman is stunning in Capote. He won Best Actor Oscar. You will understand why if you watch Capote. His performance is a big reason why I selected Capote as my PAF.

Clarence Newman

Season 8 ru-wels! Came out exactly how I wanted, tied up all the loose ends...very Lord of the Rings-esque.

Clarence Newman

I think we've got a shot at Horror of Dracula. Not obscure, a definitive version of an iconic story, AND, given that it was made in 1958, it's pretty much a TRICK movie masquerading as a TREAT. Cassie would be fine with it.

Cole Jennett

No, not at all. I should have been able to figure it out. Makes perfect sense, and now I feel dumb, lol. I love Far and Away. Not in the least bit ashamed to say it’s my favourite Tom Cruise movie.

Joe J

Flag - What "word" in SRoD are you referring to? What scene?

AdrianF

5pm here, hoping for an early GoT drop. Expecting one of disappointment, a 3am watch or having to wait a whole day! It's gonna be 3am isn't it?

Richard Maurer

Joe - I’m guessing he meant Satanic

Richard Maurer

Now you’re asking for it buddy. The S 8 scripts belong at the bottom of a bird cage

7KingKong7

I keep refreshing to see if the new GoT Episodes are online, cant wait for the weekend to officially start

AdrianF

We really need a Discuss with spoilers thread. That bloody costume!

Clarence Newman

Just watched Capote, Clay. Very interesting film, although a bit too ponderous for me to say I loved it. Phil deserved his Oscar for it.

Clarence Newman

And Dave. If you walked around talking in THAT voice for weeks, I'm surprised you had any friends left.

Dave

There is a discussion board set up in Discord where spoilers are allowed. Cassie stays away.

Clay F

I know I am laying it on thick, but I am captivated by his performance.

Nick

wow just saw this can't believe my pick won! I'm very excited for you to see it When I was in college i realized I hadn't seen many "good" movies so I watched all best picture nominees from 1990-present and In the Name of the Father was one of my favorites. I hope you enjoy it!

Steve Holton

Congratulations Nick! Great pick.

Chris Thom

Was it Silence of the Lambs that won that year?

Nick

Schindler's List I believe which obviously does deserve it

Chris Thom

Schindler's List and Jurassic Park both released by Spielberg in the same year is pretty wild.

AdrianF

Thanks Dave, I'll check it out.

Rakesh

I wish Cassie had watched "The Creator. " Personally I think it was a superior movie to AI. Released in 2023 didn't get a lot of traction at the cinema, but though provoking sci-fi with important AI themes. I think Spielberg's movie was ok, but 20 years ago this didn't seem so immeninent and prevalent. If you're in the mood for a great sci-fi movie tonight, download and watch. It has a child actress who quite frankly gives an astonishing performance, IMHO better than Haley Joel Osment. It's Highly recommended. Source: me.

Rakesh

Glad to see BvS finally released on YouTube. A pity it couldn't be released earlier as I feel it's lost some of the momentum you gathered

Chris Thom

It seemed like complete fiction to me back in 2001. Crazy how it's progressed. I still don't know what it even is exactly. But it's fascinating.

Richard Maurer

Did 87k in just over a day. That’s actually really good numbers.

Clay F

That is good. That is GoT and Thunderbolts level. But will likely not perform as well as Man of Steel. I am not sure what you mean by momentum? Momentum from the full reaction? I don't think the YT reaction being released a few days earlier would have made a difference. BvS is a 2016 movie.

Joe J

I'm guessing BvS will outperform Stepmom. 😆

Mark White

Congrats Nick! looking forward to it.

Rakesh

Speaking generally about the conversation around the new superman movie. Felt this would have had better than average numbers. This is an older movie, blimey can it really be 9 years already? Gotta had it to Synder Sfx and cinematography still look top notch and movie still looks like it could have been made this year.

John A

I miss being able to tell you to watch Midnight Run every week on your faq post 😞

Chris Thom

It does look proper expensive to make. As did the Snyder Cut of Justice League. And they should because they were both freaking expensive to make! I remember some critics saying the initial release of Justice League looked cheap. And with that original orange tint it kind of did.

Chris Thom

Clarence still finding a way to make fetch happen with Cannonball Run. Cheer up. It can be done. lol

Clarence Newman

Word. In fact, Cassie....you do realise, don't you, that removing the FAQ post, when no one ever believed it would happen, is exactly the same as beheading Ned Stark. How could you do that, Cassie? How could someone so sweet and gentle turn Ned Stark into Totally Headless Ned?

Richard Maurer

Clarence - Maybe you asked for Cannoball Run one too many times and she just had enough? Maybe your obsession with CR caused the end of the FAQ comment section? Seems likely to me.

David

films based on a story by William Shakespeare much of about Ophelia the tragedy of Macbeth a midsummer night's queen the king winner film's Cassie and Carly first time watching new movie reaction never new film's before

Mark White

I think we just need to keep asking until we get a answer.

Richard Maurer

Movies with Mary just released a War of the Worlds (1953 version) reaction if anyone’s interested.

Mike Lemon

This year, can PIB consider a public domain horror movie? Maybe throw the full thing up on YouTube instead of an edit? Night of the Living Dead is the obvious choice, but there are several good ones over on Voleflix (basically a front end for public domain movies on YouTube). https://vole.wtf/voleflix/

Clay F

Jen Murray posted on her Patreon 7 hours ago a full reaction to The Evil Dead (1981). In the thumbnail text description, she said: What the friiiiiiiiiig!!!😱 Is this the goriest gore-fest of a movie ever!?!?!😆 If you are annoyed by me being scared, very grossed out, or talking a lot cause I'm nervous you should prob skip this one 😂😂 Me: If she says she scared and nervous, she does get that way.

Richard Maurer

I like Movies with Mary’s reactions………….

The Fly

I don't think there's anything wrong with mentioning other reaction channels positively, but it seems bad form to create OPs on Cassie's patreon promoting competing reactors' latest content Why didn't you just go ahead and include a link while you're at it

Richard Maurer

I see you haven’t been a member here long. Cassie doesn’t care if we mention other reactors. In fact, every year she has a reaction “award show” called the Poppies. All the award presenters are reactors from other channels, and Cassie promotes their channels during each presenters segment. So yeah, we actually could put links in the description and it would have been fine.

The Fly

So you've made the jump from Cassie featuring other reactors on PiBs yearly award show to assuming you're then permitted to advertise other reactors most recent uploads on her patreon—potentially taking away business from the channel Not sure I would agree with that without confirmation from PiB itself. Either way I think it's bad manners and stand by it. PiB has a generally very friendly & agreeable management but I can imagine other independent content creators getting quite angry indeed if someone assumed that

Richard Maurer

Nice link by the way. While I’ve seen all the sci-fi and horror movies they have. I just might go there next time I’m feeling nostalgic .

Richard Maurer

I’ve been here since 2020. I, and many other patrons, have been making posts about other reactors without so much as a “cut it out, guys” from the mods for years. In fact, recently I was in a conversation with a mod about another reactor we both liked. Nobody here cares if we mention other reactors.

The Fly

As I said in my first sentence, ''I don't think there's anything wrong with mentioning other reaction channels positively'' However I distinguish between doing that and creating an OP straight-up promoting a competing channel's latest upload; Whether it's called out by PiB or not, I consider it bad form and rather disrespectful

Richard Maurer

Okay. But just to let you know, you’re going to see more of this, not just from me but other patrons as well. As I said, it’s a fairly frequent occurrence here.

kaiielle

It's clear that you see the reaction space as a competition, as you mention "competing" more than once. Most people here don't view it that way.

The Fly

@Kailielle, that wasn't central to my point but an aspect of why promoting other channels on PiB forums—which are also businesses and competing for the same customers—is perhaps out-of-line Let me ask, you're a content creator, would you mind if another channel creator left comments, with links to their latest upload, in your forums? Perhaps not, but would it surprise you if another patreon channel perhaps did? I've watched youtubers severely chew people out for promoting other content creators in the chat; Not saying Cassie feels that way, but as I said, I do distinguish between speaking positively about other reactors—I do this myself—and creating an OP advertising another channel's latest video; Plus i took issue with Richard claiming if he were to leave a link to said channel's video that would be perfectly fine Regardless of whether PiB calls it out, I feel it's bad manners and a bit rude

Milton Reduxed

Hi Kailielle, you're a friend of the channel, but how would you feel about making posts reading 'Hi guys I've just watched Captain America: Brave New World if anyone's interested', and post the link, would that seem right to you?

Richard Maurer

False equivalency Milton. That would be Kallielle promoting her own money making venture (which I doubt Cassie would have a problem with anyway). Clay and I mentioned channels we have no stake in and in fact just mentioned particular movies we know people here have an interest in and have not been watched by Cassie - and may well never will be.

Byrd N. Hand

I believe OctoKrool is the only channel that's put their full "Living Dead" reaction on YT.

Richard Maurer

If Cassie posted that she doesn’t want anyone mentioning other reactors, I’d be shocked, but I’d also never do it again. But until that happens I’m not going to be dissuaded by some fellow patrons trying to shame me for something that is a common, and accepted, occurrence here. You don’t like it, fine. You do you. And I’ll do as I please, within the confines of the rules here.

Richard Maurer

Uh-oh Byrd - you mentioned another channel, you’re in trouble now! (See my post below)

Richard Maurer

Milton - not tired , but thanks for your concern.

Joe J

I've often mentioned other reactors...and will continue to do so.

Byrd N. Hand

Yep. You should've known better, Richard. No other reactor has ever been mentioned on this site until that post. 🤨

Milton Reduxed

@ Richard, Could be you're a Mary undercover, in disguise, incognito 🤔

The Fly

In my first line of argument I write, 'I don't think there's anything wrong with mentioning other reaction channels positively' Perhaps inability to understand plain English is what's creating the friction, or there's some other reason Richard has to mischaracterize a debate on forum etiquette and carry his agitation into other threads 🤷‍♂️

Richard Maurer

Doubtful. I’ve never even been to Brussels.

Richard Maurer

I was joking, Fly. And why are you following me unto other threads?

Richard Maurer

…And the only one with friction is you. I’ve attempted to answer your concerns politely several times but you just don’t like the answer.

The Fly

Sorry I didn't realise PiB forums were your exclusive domain, or that you were having a personal conversation from which I'm excluded, but then again you've been here since 2020 (see below)...without ever taking a rest it seems EDIT: Yes I understand your argument that it's not against the PiB forum rules and that it's common to mention other reactors—which I do also. But neither points were ever in dispute, rather that it's perhaps bad forum etiquette to straight up advertise another channel's most recent video in an OP out of nowhere

Richard Maurer

SMH. Dude, let it go. You keep coming at me over something that’s not even a issue here, as much as you seem to want to make it one Edit: I get that you think it’s bad etiquette and you have a right to your opinion. But I, as well as many others, don’t have a problem with it. Can we move on now?

The Fly

Take your own advice, dude You posted two replies to my final post in the thread below, so I let you have the last word—twice Then you carry the issue over into this thread—again replying to my post twice, now telling me to 'let it go' so you can have the last word If you want to let it go, take your own advice and let it go. And maybe this time don't slink over to another thread and carry on where you hope you'll get no pushback

Milton Reduxed

This keyboard battle on multiple fronts is legendary 😂 You two need jobs, it's a work day 🤣

Richard Maurer

Milton - I’m semi-retired and today isn’t a work day (for me). And not a battle to me.

Clay F

I agree w/Richard and Joe. I mention other reactors and will continue to occasionally do so. Not that often. It's not bad form. It's not disrespectful to PiB. Not rude. Not bad manners. Not out of line. Perfectly fine. No express confirmation from PiB needed. Implicit confirmation by act of omission is enough. Longstanding practice is enough. Plus, don't belittle the presence of other reactors featured on the Poppies. The reactors cooperate and communicate with each other. I had one young reactor tell me that Cassie advised her. Often when I refer to other reactors, I don't mention them by name but only for discussion, for example, with respect to a channel feature or practice. The amount of respectful discussion and free flow of ideas at PiB is awesome and attracts patrons. The bottom line for me is two-fold: (1) I don't go overboard mentioning other reactors by name but just an occasional mention such as with respect to a particular movie reaction in which a fellow PiB patron may be interested; and (2) if PiB leadership asked me not to mention other reactors, I would be fine with that -- it's Cassie's channel -- she get's to decide that -- wouldn't bother me in the least.

The Fly

@Clay. I said, in the first sentence of my post, ''I don't think there's anything wrong with mentioning other reaction channels positively'', so we agree I did say it's bad forum etiquette to simply promote another channel's latest upload in an OP in the forum of a different channel. If you want to disagree on that point fine, but be clear where the point of contention lies

Clay F

Ok. Disagree on that point about latest upload. Some could construe "mentioning other reaction channels positively" as worse than the mere mention of a latest upload. I don't really promote other channels by mentioning the channel positively (in a postive way), i.e. positive comments. I am too picky.

Richard Maurer

Getting back to the original purpose of my comment, just got around to watching Mary’s reaction to War of the Worlds (53) - nice reaction, well worth watching. She only has 5.2k views in 21 hrs. so giving her a watch wouldn’t hurt.

Chris Thom

Great idea. I keep forgetting public domain was a thing. But then I passed Popeye, Winnie the Pooh, AND Steamboat Willie horror films on streaming and it made sense.

Mark White

Nothing wrong with mentioning/talking or suggesting other reactors.

MikeLL

Robert Redford poll, ASAP

Byrd N. Hand

R.I.P. I nominate "This Property Is Condemned," "Downhill Racer," "The Candidate," and "Three Days of the Condor," for starters. Maybe also "Ordinary People" -- though he only directed that one, he's not in it.

Rakesh

"All is lost." A fantastic movie. Done in the later years which means many won't have seen it but it's brilliant and will test Cassie reactions skills to the max. Also "Spy Game" which also stars Brad Pitt

Clay F

Think Cassie would like "Our Souls at Night" (2017) (romance) [RT=91%]. She might like "The Horse Whisperer" (1998) w/young Scarlett Johansson I liked "Brubaker" (1980) as young adult in the early 80s. The Redford-directed “Quiz Show” (1994) [RT=97%] is good.

Byrd N. Hand

"Brubaker, run this prison like a man. Oh, oh!" 😏 And, yes, "Quiz Show" is the only Best Picture nominee from '94 that Cassie hasn't seen yet. I can't recall if she's seen "A River Runs Through It" as well, but, if not, I'll submit that, too.

Milton Reduxed

Whelp there goes this week's comment forum, lasted about 15 minutes before the sandbox turned into a litterbox ...And the 'no politics' policy proves it's merit 😂

Mike Lemon

And I didn't even get to play. 8-(

Richard Maurer

I was wondering what happened, but not surprised. I will say Cassie “kinda” introduced the topic in her comments. Probably would have been better to not even mention things like that in even an oblique way, people who are itching to talk about politics will take that as an opening. Edit: before anyone says it, I am not blaming Cassie. She couldn’t have known people would use her mild comments on the subject as an excuse to run wild with it.

Richard Maurer

At least we’re getting Superman 2025 this week.

Story Archer

They would specifically love 'The Horse Whisperer' (Montana!) and 'Spy Game (w/Brad Pitt!). I also think they would enjoy the little-known 'Up Close and Personal'.

Story Archer

re: Midnight Run - she hasn't seen it yet, has she? It's #18 on my 'Top 25 for Cassie & Carly' list!

Mike Lemon

But we all knew she would say something, she had to, it's in her nature. What is sad is adults, and I use the term loosely, couldn't help keep it civil and non-political (I'm guessing, since, you know, I can't see the comments).

Richard Maurer

Mike - I went to make dinner just as first comments on this subject started. By the time I got back the comments were gone. Did she have to say something about it? I mean even being as oblique as she was people will still take her comments on the upcoming section as a jumping off point for the general conversation. Again, I’m not saying she did anything wrong, but in future it would probably be best to avoid bringing up hot-button topics, or at least add a warning that comments related to the topic will not be tolerated. As we’ve seen recently with all the new people here, many either don’t read the rules or think they don’t apply to them.

Mike Lemon

"Did she have to say something about it?" Yes. She is so empathetic, she can't help herself. She brings up a ton of tragedies, I think it is a way for her to deal with them. Like I said, it's in her nature.

Byrd N. Hand

I'm more surprised she didn't mention Robert Redford's death... unless this was written up before today. 🤷‍♂️

Rakesh

I know why they watching but it's a awful awful movie.

Richard Maurer

Or, conversely, it’s the best Superman movie ever. It’s all just a matter of opinion. But I’m pretty sure Cassie and Carly will like it more than Man of Steel, because it’s a much better movie.

Milton Reduxed

@ Richard, I mean when there's a terror attack in the next town over I think a word for the deceased shouldn't be controversial. Also Cassie does mention in her weekly updates what's been going on in her life, and the heavy cloud that is hanging over many people this last week has obviously been affecting Cassie too

Richard Maurer

Milton - let’s not start it up again here, whatever your feelings are. No political or religion discussion means just that - none.

Milton Reduxed

I understand that mentioning the event does provide a jumping off point for some, and that an additional note to leave politics out of the comment section might work, but stand by a brief word in memoriam to the victim of a local terror attack shouldn't be controversial. To most here that would be national news or current events, but to Cassie is something quite literally close to home—which is what normally feature in her weekly update

Mike Lemon

Milton didn't say anything political. Maybe, if someone sees politics in anything he said... Well, let me give my usual advice- get different news sources, and I will extend my standing offer, if you want to talk politics, and can be civil, send me a message on reddit ( u/MikeLemon ).

Richard Maurer

Mike & Milton - obviously this discussion can lead to a political discussion or Cassie wouldn’t have to had to shut down the upcoming comments. People are always going to take these things too far - it’s the give them an inch they’ll take a mile axiom. Both sides of the political spectrum are guilty of this here, hence no matter how you feel about it, bringing it into the comments section is wrong.

Milton Reduxed

I'm addressing the point you made, 'Probably would have been better to not even mention things like that in even an oblique way...Did she have to say something about it?' Cassie normally mentions what's been going on around her in the last week, and this has been going on around her this past week One can make anything a jumping off point. For example Cassie might mention a relative in the hospital, and someone starts talking about free healthcare—the potential to take Cassie's weekly update and make it a political conversation is practically limitless

Richard Maurer

Well I already gave my opinion on Cassie bringing this up, and it hasn’t changed. People here take her comments as a conversation starter, so what happened was no surprise. It was already a politically charged news item - unlike one of her relatives being in the hospital.

Mike Lemon

I *can* make almost anything political, I *don't* because I am an adult (though sometimes I will reply with a gentle correction to someone here who "starts it"). I don't think Cassie was wrong for expecting that from others.

Richard Maurer

This was my last comment on this as I made my position clear already and it’s not going to change. Also this is getting too close to an area that could get this post taken down and I’m not going to be a part of that.

Rakesh

I doubt it. It's just a pity they didn't go through the DCeu slate before embarking on this travesty.

Richard Maurer

lol. Travesty? Have you seen Wonder Woman 84?

Rakesh

I have and it agree it's awful like aquaman 2. WW, suicide squad and ZSJL are excellent. Shazman 1 and 2 ok. Same with aquaman. I'm not even rating blue beetle again. Basically the DCeu went off the rails went Synder was pushed out and the shift in tone to emulate the MCU was a severe mistake. Superman 2025 is just Bollywood tier. Just awful sfx and dialogue. Burnbright was a better Gunn Superman movie if truth be told.

Richard Maurer

Warner Bros was more to blame than Snyder for the DCEU’s failure, for sure. But the truth is bringing James Gunn in was the right decision. He’s never made a bad superhero film/series for Marvel or DC. And they’ve already green-lit a Gunn Superman sequel, they don’t do sequels for failures. I don’t understand why people can’t let the whole “Snyderverse” thing go. It was mostly mediocre (at best) and it’s dead and buried now - and it’s not coming back.

Rakesh

The rot in WB has been there for a long time. They never knew what to do the jewel in the crown that was DC. Whilst once they had the lead in TV and movies their efforts have been laughable. The rot lies in the studio execes that got us here. But let's be real Gunn is a competent average film maker. Gotg 1 was great. Sequels were mediocre as was his suicide squad sequel. DC has no one to man the helm. . Greenligting the superman sequel was hedging thier bets if they left it any later I'm not it would have been green lit. The movie did less money that man of steel. The movies and series coming up, Waller? 😭 Clayface, c'mon man ain't no one watching that. Supergirl isn't wonder woman. WW is a unique character and regarded well. Supergirl is just a female superman. No one is interested in her comics over the years. I hate to bring up the Supergirl movie that no one watches he'd since that's the precedent. But it's a forgettable character. So when that bombs. What they gonna do? Thus the rush to get the superman sequel released. The Synderverse is dead. Long live the Synderverse. They said the justice league could never happen and it did. My money is them bringing Snyder back for the Frank miller's the dark knight returns. We'll just wait for the gunnverse to die. They still have no clue what to do with batman as Patterson's bats is more popular than superman and not even in the same decade and universe. As I said no clue.

Richard Maurer

Well we agree on some things and never will on others, so let’s just leave it at that.

Richard Maurer

You can keep going, I’ve moved on. I get easily bored with pointless arguments - I won’t change your mind, and you can’t change mine.

Rakesh

I urge you to respond and get the last word in.

Richard Maurer

Only people who love James Gunn’s movies, especially Superman 2025, will reply to this comment.

Rakesh

It true. I love to hate that movie

John A

Nah she hasn't seen it, been suggesting it for decades

John A

Lmao the new Superman was one of the worst movies I've seen this decade. Some people have awful taste. Of course, Superman was always a movie for dorks so it's no wonder this new trash has fans

Richard Maurer

lol. “Some people have awful taste” - yes, but I won’t hold that against you. See, that’s how perspective works. Your opinion, while valid to you, means nothing to me, and to most other people. And calling people names only assures that your opinion is ignored . Try saying something of substance if you want to be taken seriously. If you don’t want to be taken seriously, congratulations, you’ve already achieved the incredibly low bar you set for yourself.

I miss Richard Donner! Truth, Justice, and the American way!
