Sam and Bronn are two of my favorite characters. it's amazing that this is the first role John Bradley (the actor that plays Sam) had after finishing drama school. I think Lord Varys is such a great character as well.

a small detail you probably missed in the beginning of ep2 they are burning the idols of the seven(the new gods) on the beach its not really covered in the show but in the bluray editions they added lore and history videos that explains minor details worth knowing, narrated by the characters from the show if you had not read the books most of them are on Youtube Game of Thrones History and Lore season1 (narrated by bran) Game of Thrones History and Lore season 2 (narrated by Theon) etc they have no spoilers but is world building and great recaps on what you need to know before each season to follow the plot. you should watch and react to them before each season going forward. :)

I started my second run of this show when Cassie started this run but I couldn't stop and now I'm on season 5. Later episodes reference characters and events from the early seasons so this has made watching Cassie's run even better for me!

Speaking of the budget, one of my favorite things is the link between GoT and ROME, which was such an underrated show. It was cancelled after only two seasons, from what I heard it was mainly because of the budget getting out of hand, and even though the second and final season was rushed to try to wrap up the story, which was amazing, it was such an awesome show, so bummed it didn't get the chance to really take off. BUT, the upside was that that production team learned a lot of lessons from that show, including great ways to cut costs, and they applied those lessons to Game Of Thrones. And if you know Rome you will recognize a lot of the same actors, more to come, because both shows were graced with Nina Gold in charge of casting, every actor basically perfect for the role. Anyway I do recommend Rome, it's only the two seasons and I think worth the watch, it's pretty cool, and if you can handle the sex and violence in GoT you're good, and the story and characters, just 🤌🤌🤌

This is the epitome of a great dramatic show, where all your feels get tickled and tasered at regular intervals throughout each episode. Cassie is not enjoying this world AT ALL, but she is *so* enjoying the show, and that is the Golden Paradox. Important to note that the Good characters and Bad characters are equally responsible for her being locked in the way she is. Cersei and Joffrey are utterly hateful, but without them (and the superb actors that portray them), there is no show.

Hey Cass.. no spoilers.. just a couple of interesting facts for you.. Lena Headey and Peter Dinklage are actually good friends in real life.. so its a testament to their acting abilities to act like they hate each other on the show.. Also Jerome Flynn (Braun) and Lena Headey used to date before the show and since they broke up they didnt feel comfortable working together.. which is why you'll never see them in a scene together.. and if you do, it'll be brief. And you saying you wonder if Tyrion knew his brother and sister were banging.. OMG.. that was hilarious.

I'm going to make an early prediction regarding Cassie's favourite and least favourite characters: Faves 1. Jon Snow 2. Tyrion Lannister 3. Arya 4. Robb Stark 5. Danerys Honorable mentions: Catelyn, Jorah, Bronn, Samwell, and now Gendry Departed favourites: Ned Stark & Khal Drogo Her Naughty List =1. Joffrey/ Cersei (I don't believe she can separate them right now) 3. Littlefinger (love how her eyes narrow every time he appears) 4. Jamie Lannister 5. Craster (new entry on the chart!) Dishonorable mentions: The Hound, Sir Alliser, Greyjoy's Dad I think she likes Varys as a character, but would place him somewhere between the two lists - exactly where he would want to be.

Very tired of GoT content. It was interesting to watch once or twice, but I'm not interested in watching it for the umpteenth time with yet another reactor. Just do 2 Eps per season like you did with the James Bond movies and put them in a single big upload like you did with Star Trek TOS, and get back to doing other, more interesting content.

I feel you, mate. I've said before, if I'd been around when all the Star Wars movies and tv series were dropping, I would've really struggled too. I'm very lucky that I'm a fan of Star Trek and Game of Thrones, but I know how I would feel if 1/3rd of every week was taken up by something I had no interest in. Engagement with GoT and the significant increase in paying members since she started watching it, proves that it was a good choice for the channel, but it was never going to please everyone. One thing I know about Cassie, though - if she could please absolutely everybody and leave no soldier behind, she would. It just isn't possible when business decisions are involved.

It's your issue if you burned yourself out watching others react to it. I only watch Cassie. And I have not watched GoT since it originally aired so it is fresh for me. This show would not work watching just two episodes a season. Plus Cassie puts out two other reactions in addition to GoT every week.

I have now watched season 1 and these two episodes. I don’t really know what to say. I’ve just not been blown away by it. I mean it’s ok. Nothing wrong with GoT. But it’s not got me waiting for the next episodes. I’m just not been excited by it. I will watch the rest of season 2 with Cassie. Then decide if I will continue. I mean don’t get me wrong, I can see why people really like it. It’s just not got me yet! Hopefully it will.

Yet..... It had me hooked after episode 1. Shortly after season 1 ended my brother tells me I should watch this new show with him. So we binge watched all of season 1 in a single day. 10 hours... the next day my girlfriend came over and I had her watch the first episode with me. We ended up watching the whole first season in a day. HAHA! Needless to say, ive seen the entire thing so many times I dont think I can count. Still my favorite show ever. Even if the critics hate on the last 2 seasons. Its still great!

I like the scene with Tyrion telling Janos Slynt (the guy who turned on Ned and stabbed the baby) he being replaced by Bron as commander of the City Watch. This Tyrion/Varys interaction was interesting. Tyrion: "I don't like threats." Varys: "Who threatened you?" Tyrion: "I am not Ned Stark, I understand the way this game is played." Looking forward to the S2:E3-E4 reaction in a few days.
