Poll winners from the Live -Dirty Harry (1971) -13th Warrior (1999) -Falling Down (beat Secondhand Lions) I voted Dirty Harry (1971), which is iconic, but an auto-reaction to the entire Dirty Harry franchise might be a little much.

I was surprised when “Logan’s Run” won the sci-fi poll. I was not surprised that Cassie didn’t like it. In a decade of great sci-fi offerings, including a number of interesting dystopian future movies, it was way down at the bottom. A middling movie at best.

I do love Cassie's outlook on the world, and the delightful way she puts things into words. Examples on this live would be: "Full Monty Python" Pronouncing the great Pele's name (Pell-ay) as "Peel" And noting, in conversational tones, that the Dothraki are "a little too rapey" for her liking.

The movies for PiB March Madness may be sourced from old PR, as done before. Yet, possible movies for PiB March Madness sourced from the new "Requests" at the new website. So go to "Requests" at https://beta.popcorninbed.com/ to input your movies. Easy to do. User friendly interface.

In two Live polls yesterday, the movie candidates for the polls were selected randomly from Top 100 at the new "Requests". Go there and get your movies in. There could be more Live polls sourced from the new Requests at the new website https://beta.popcorninbed.com/

At the new Requests, if you assign all of your points to a single movie -- that currently places your movie at a high ranking. For example, if you Extra Butter ($15/mo), your 180 points to a single movie (not yet ranked) currently gives No. 41 ranking. That's Top 50 w/o help from another patron. Of course, if already ranked (i.e., points from others), then your single movie would be ranked even higher than No. 41. If you Kernel Club ($10/mo), your 150 points to a single movie (not yet ranked) currently gives No. 62 ranking. That's Top 100 w/o help from another patron. If your single movie already ranked (i.e., points from other patrons), then your single movie would be ranked even higher than No. 62.
