SELECTION TUESDAY!! 1pm tomorrow YT LIVE (sorry midday but our evenings are bananas this week)

We will be drawing from top requests from both the old popcorn requests site and the new website request page! Go to the website (https://beta.popcorninbed.com/requests ) and request and upvote your picks! You'll have to sign in with Patreon in order to do so (1-click).

I have been watching basketball everyday for the past two weeks. I have made about 20 brackets on ESPN and Yahoo. I see the Mammoths won tonight to bad my sweetie fell asleep before I could tell her. My best guess is she will do top 25 for each genre, which translates into Top 100 to Top 300 or so, depending on the genre. I am going to be prepared with priority selections for if Top 100, Top 200, or Top 300 is relied on. I am inputting priorities now for Top 300. But will be prepared to alter my priorities if Top 100 or Top 200 is used. But loading up on a genre seems too much in advance.

I didn’t realise the Popcorn Requests had moved to the new site. Haven’t really explored it much other than doing my Pick-A-Flick. Just added my Top 10 Priorities, and it took a while, but I also went through the ENTIRE Leaderboard and placed 131 Upvotes on movies I’d like Cassie to see. Wish I had loaded up the laptop rather than doing it on my phone. Going through all 3k+ entires gave me a headache.

The live drawing would be to randomly assign the 32 movies to the teams. Chris, so what are you saying for the 64 teams, Top 32 movies from new Requests and Top 32 movies from old Popcorn Requests?

Jackie Chan's in it. He's Chinese but he plays a Japanese guy, which is some serious range, by the way. Not Jackie's first movie, though, and not even his first US movie. (That was Battle Creek Brawl). There's loads of great Hong Kong stuff before that that Richard somehow thinks is better than Cannonball Run. OK, Drunken Master might be better, but it's really, really close. I say watch both. Then everyone's happy.

Last year in order to get enough films in each genre, she selected movies ranked further down than Top 100.

Last year, she did top 25 for each of the 4 genres. To get top 25 drama movies for the drama genre, she had to go to about Top 70. To get top 25 war movies for the war genre, she had to go to about Top 320.

I’m going to be completely honest with you Clay, I’ve only got about 3-4 upvotes in the new popcorn requests top 100. I have no idea now about the old requests site. So, yeah, I’m being very biased when I say I want to go beyond top 100.

Yeah, she wanted to do horror occasionally throughout the year, so to reduce October to a week of horror instead of a month of horror which too much for her. I will definitely watch the 28 Weeks Later reaction.
