Here's this week's paying-member-exclusive Thursday posts Horrifically Overpowered Class Features for the Hybrid and Occult character classes of Pathfinder 1st edition. This goes along with the paying-member-exclusive Index of Horrifically Overpowered Content, which I will update every time a new Horrifically Overpowered product or article goes up. The index also has the Horrifically Overpowered Feat I suggest using to allow characters to access these HO class features.

Today we do the H.O Swashbuckler, which is a combination of the fighter (the first HO class features I did) and the gunslinger (which I will be doing as long as Patrons want me to continue working on the HO class features for base classes).

Horrifically Overpowered Swashbuckler Class Skills (Horrifically Overpowered): You may choose to use your Dexterity modifier for the Bluff, Climb, Diplomacy, Intimidate, Perform, and Swim skills in place of their normal ability modifiers. Each time you gain a level in the swashbuckler class, you gain a rank of Acrobatics, Escape Artist, Ride, and Sleight of Hand. When you make an Acrobatics check to move through a threatened space or into an enemy space, you add your swashbuckler level to your bonus. When foes attempt such acrobatics checks to move through your threatened space or into your space, they must exceed the check by an amount greater than your swashbuckler level, or you can take an attack of opportunity against them.

Horrifically Overpowered Swashbuckler Weapon Proficiency (Horrifically Overpowered): You can treat all simple and martial weapons as finesse weapons. Any ability or option you can apply specifically to light or one-handed piercing weapons, you can apply to any martial or simple weapon for which that ability or option applies. Any ability or option triggered by light or one-handed piercing weapon can be triggered by any simple or martial weapon capable of fulfilling the trigger. When you apply Dexterity to the damage of a weapon, you may choose to apply 1.5x your Dexterity bonus to the damage. When you deal damage with a light or one-handed melee weapon, you deal an additional 1d6 damage (as if the weapons normal damage die included +1d6, which is thus multiplied on a critical hit or when using Vital Strike).

Horrifically Overpowered Panache (Horrifically Overpowered): You add your swashbuckler level to your starting number of panache each day, and to your maximum panache.

Horrifically Overpowered Deeds (Horrifically Overpowered): As a free action when you expend a point of panache, you can choose to learn a new swashbuckler deed in place of the most recent swashbuckler deed you have already learned. In effect, you lose the swashbuckler deed in exchange for the new one. You can change only the most recent swashbuckler deed gained, and must meet the prerequisites for the newly selected swashbuckler deed. You can change your most recent deed power a number of times per day equal to your Charisma modifier (minimum 1).

Horrifically Overpowered Swashbuckler Finesse (Horrifically Overpowered): While wielding a weapon that you can use swashbuckler finesse with, you gain the benefit of the Critical Focus feat. This ability counts as having the Critical Focus feat for purposes of feat prerequisites. At 1st level, 5th level and every 5 levels thereafter you gain an additional Critical feat, for which you must meet the prerequisites. However, treat your base attack bonus as being 8 points higher for purpose of meeting these prerequisites.

Horrifically Overpowered Charmed Life (Horrifically Overpowered): You always add your Charisma bonus to your saving throws (hey, paladins can do it). When you use charmed life, you actually double this bonus for the triggering saving throw.

Horrifically Overpowered Nimble (Horrifically Overpowered): While no armor or light armor, you gain a dodge bonus to AC equal to your Charisma bonus (minimum +1). As a dodge bonus, this stacks to any other dodge bonus you manage to gain from your Charisma bonus, such as with the dodging panache deed.

Horrifically Overpowered Bonus Feat (Horrifically Overpowered): When you select your combat feat, you do not have to meet any prerequisites other than the fighter level or base attack bonus.

Horrifically Overpowered Swashbuckler Weapon Training (Horrifically Overpowered): You can effect creatures and objects immune to critical hits with your critical hits from weapons to which you can add swashbuckler weapon training. When using such weapons, your threat range (after all other calculations) is increased by the value of your swashbuckler weapon training's attack bonus.

Horrifically Overpowered Swashbuckler Weapon Training (Horrifically Overpowered): When you score a critical hit against a target, that target provokes an attack of opportunity from you.
