They made a short lived Kojak reboot with Ving Rhames The cover was allergies, which means everyone getting their own national dish that they were allergic to in front of them. Like, the one African woman just having a big plate of bananas in front of her. It's silly that I'm finding it sort of infuriating that they don't perfectly remember everything, but the entire draw of these episodes are that they don't remember anything. And if they did, it wouldn't be these episodes.

No but I both love this as content, and think it genuinely says something valuable about actual spy shit — this sounds exactly like how intelligence tales get half-remembered but still spun on throughout the years, because you know there is some kind of important memory of an important event to recall here. Piecing together sound clips & little notes out of context. Who was working for who, again? Were these things and people actually connected, or actually part of completely different missions? the ONLY thing i remember from this movie is the one second blink-and-you'll-miss-it shot of the food that the UN is allergic to and that the food was weirdly racist? east asian woman is allergic to rice, jamaican woman is allergic to bananas, english woman is allergic to plain roast chicken, i think the irish woman was allergic to potatos?? when we watched it years ago my gf noticed this and paused the movie to point it out, so this was the only bit i remembered.
