Silly question but who earns these fees? The Dex’s? The network runners? It certainly isn’t us as SOL holders so what drives the value of my SOL token. I don’t need 400 of them to use for a million transactions!

The one fee not on the list is Coinbase fees. I just tried buying 2 SOL and coinbase added a $15.00 fee to the limit order. Coinbase also withdraws $29. a month trading service charge from my bank account. Can anyone suggest a cheaper US crypto exchange?
